Abstract

ABSTRACT Islamic education in the modern era faces a significant challenge in balancing academic achievement with spiritual and character development. This research aims to analyze the urgency of Hadis Tarbawi (educational traditions of the Prophet) as a fundamental basis for realizing the goals of Islamic education in schools. Using a qualitative method with a literature study approach, this article examines the classification of Hadis covering moral, intellectual, and spiritual aspects. The results indicate that Hadis Tarbawi is not merely a doctrinal text but a practical guide for forming individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable, and possess noble character. The success of Islamic education relies heavily on integrating Hadis values into the curriculum and creating a school environment based on the principles of Tarbiyah Nabawiyah (Prophetic education). This integration helps build a generation that maintains a balance between worldly knowledge and faith, while possessing strong moral integrity to face global challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of implementing cooperative learning with ‘Make a Match' methods on the Islamic Education (PAI) learning achievement of seventh-grade students at MTs Swasta Darul Ulum Budi Agung Titi Papan. The background of this study highlights that traditional teacher-centered approaches often limit student engagement, which in turn affects academic outcomes. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of seventh-grade students assigned to an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected using a PAI achievement test and classroom observation sheets. Inferential statistical analysis was conducted to determine significant differences between groups. The findings indicate that the cooperative learning method has a significant and positive effect on students' learning achievement. Therefore, cooperative learning is recommended as an effective instructional strategy to enhance students' understanding and performance in Islamic Education.

Abstract

Hadith studies, as the second pillar of Islamic jurisprudence, are fundamentally anchored in the strict principles of authenticity and precision regarding sanad (chain of narration) and matan (text) data. While generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers efficiency, it introduces a critical methodological vulnerability known as "hallucination"-the tendency to generate fictitious yet convincing data. This research aims to analyze how AI hallucination specifically manifests as a methodological threat and data distortion in Hadith studies. Employing a descriptive analysis method with a comparative case study using a Large Language Model (LLM), the study compared AI responses concerning Hadith data (Sahih al-Bukhari from the Ibn Kathir print) and its commentary (syarah) (Ibn Daqiq Al-'Ied) against their primary sources. The findings identified three categories of distortion: Contextual Hallucination (misinterpreting "Dar Ibn Kathir Publisher" as "Imam Ibn Kathir"); Factual Hallucination (providing incorrect matan text for a specific Hadith number, No. 6309); and Linguistic Hallucination (fabricating academic-sounding but fictitious syarah analysis, such as the false claim of using the word (دعائم) and inventing a descriptive analysis by Ibn Daqiq). This research concludes that AI hallucination poses a real and verifiable threat to Hadith data integrity, urging urgent mitigation strategies, including improving training data quality and involving humans such as hadith experts to validate the data provided by AI.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between PAI teachers' creativity in integrating Islamic values and students' social and spiritual competencies. A quantitative research method was employed, as the collected data were analyzed using statistical techniques. The findings indicate that the creativity level of PAI teachers falls into the “very good” category, with an average score of 4.35. The highest indicator appears in the use of digital media and varied learning methods, such as Islamic video materials, interactive presentations, and the Quizizz platform. Meanwhile, the lowest indicator is found in innovative learning evaluation, suggesting that project-based authentic assessment still requires improvement. These results show that teachers' creativity has a positive relationship with students' social and spiritual competence development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital berupa e-bookberbasis Canva bernama SUPI (Surah Pilihan) pada materi surah-surah pendek dalampembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) kelas II Sekolah Dasar. Penelitianmenggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Design and Development Research(DDR) serta model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan,pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 20 siswa kelasII SDN Pawenang dengan melibatkan satu guru sebagai ahli materi dan satu dosensebagai ahli media. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket, dandokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-book SUPI dinyatakan layakdigunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dengan nilai validasi ahli media sebesar 74% danahli materi sebesar 96,25%. Implementasi e-book SUPI menunjukkan peningkatanmotivasi, keaktifan, serta kemampuan membaca dan menghafal surah-surah pendekAl-Qur'an.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays an essential role in shaping students' character and moral conduct. Through PAI learning, students are expected not only to understand the cognitive aspects of Islamic knowledge but also to internalize spiritual and moral values in their daily lives. Therefore, the success of PAI learning is measured not only by academic achievement but also by changes in students' attitudes and behavior that reflect their religious understanding. This study employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of all 50 eighth-grade students, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through learning achievement tests administered before and after the treatment, as well as through observation and documentation. The data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test with the assistance of SPSS version 20. Descriptive analysis of students' scores before the implementation of the interactive learning method showed that the average pretest score was 51.90. After the application of the interactive learning method, the average posttest score increased to 87.80. These findings indicate that the interactive learning method has a positive and significant effect on improving the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students in Islamic Religious Education at SMP IT Harapan Bangsa Tanjung Morawa. The increase in average scores from pretest to posttest confirms an improvement in students' understanding and mastery of the material following the implementation of the method
