Al-Irsyad: The Counseling and Education Journal is scientific journal in education and counseling guidance that managed by The Bimbingan Konseling Islam Majors of Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan Faculty of UIN Sumatera Utara Medan. Al-Irsyad presents topics about development of counseling guidance profession as a teacher based on the four competence of a teacher. They are pedagogic, personal, social, and professional. Besides that, Al-Irsyad is also emphasize to the integration of islamic values. Al-Irsyad is published two times in a year. There are January-June edition and July-December edition. The first edition of Al-Irsyad was Vol.1, No.1, January-June Edition on 2012, but was not yet have p-ISSN and e-ISSN. Then, in Vol.5, No. 1, January-June Edition on 2015 was published in print with p-ISSN: 2088-8341. Further, Vol. 10, No.1, January-June 2020 Edition on 2020 edition publish OJS with e-ISSN: 2686-2859.

Abstract

21st century human resources have three pillars, namely literacy, competence, and character. Literacy is the ability to read, reading interest, and reading power of every writing and environmental phenomenon to be used as life learning. Competence is a skill in critical thinking, creating creativity, collaborating, and communicating good and true. Character is the attitudes and plates possessed in accepting and carrying out the tasks carried. The three pillars can be realized through the correct learning process. Cooperation of school institutions, community, and student families can be done with the method of exemplifying each other, collaborate in kretaivitas, and mutually motivate in achievement. Teacher BK acts as an educator who can help students to be physically and psychologically ready to follow, understand, accept, and mangamalkan learning process as well as possible. BK Teachers can conduct activities that are understand, control, alleviate, maintain, and develop the potential of the students.Keywords: Teachers BK, potential students, learning process

Abstract

Education is guidance or help given by educators to the development of students to reach maturity with the aim that children are capable enough to carry out their own life tasks not with the help of others. The purpose of education is to create a person of high quality and character so that he has a broad view of the future to achieve the goals that are expected and able to adapt quickly and precisely in various environments. The educational objectives will be achieved if done with the teaching and learning processboth in the school environment or elsewhere. Learning is one of the activities or human endeavors that is very important and must be carried out throughout life, because through the effort of learning we can make changes or improvements in various matters that concern our self-interest. Learning is done intentionally or not with the teacher, with the help of others, or without anyone's help. The measurement of success, to the potential possessed, to the process of change always departs from experience whether it is research or theories that have been prepared previously. As is the case with human success there are those who see it from the intelligence of their brains (intelligence) or also their work skills. Intelligence is often interpreted as the ability to understand thingsand the ability to think. Intelligence in this sense is usually measured by the ability to answer standardized test questions in the classroom (IQ test). However the glorification of IQ in determining success still dominates learning in schools and one of them appears in the use of traditional learning methods, such as lectures and stories that are more inline with linguistic intelligence and rational approaches to mathematical logic that are more in line with logical mathematical intelligence. Even Islamic Religious Education  (PAI) learning is still mostly filled with memorization, ritual worship practices, religious dogmas and the like, to the point of unattractive, boring and less meaningful for studentswhose linguistic and mathematical intelligence is less prominent. Students can only study well if the material is delivered using methods that are in accordance with their most prominent intelligence. The types of intelligence incorporated in 9 multiple intelligences or Multiple Intelligence are: Linguistic Intelligence, Mathematical Logic Intelligence, Spatial Intelligence, Body Kinesthetic Intelligence, Musical Intelligence, Interpersonal Intelligence, Intrersonal Intelligence, Natural Intelligence, and Existential Intelligence. Compound intelligence in the view of Islam is explained in the ESQ book from Ari Ginanjar Brain Gym or Brain Gym can be done to improve the work performance of thebrain.Keywords: Education, Learning, Intelligence and Multiple Intelligence, Brain Gym.

Abstract

Cellular telecommunication is a cellular operator company which has grownrapidly amidst the tight competition among the cellular operator companies inIndonesia. Realizing that it is very crucial to keep the customers and to find morepotential customers, the company strives to upgrade network quality and adjust fare. Thecompany’s most potential customers are employees. The formulation of the problem wasto what extent the influence of network quality and simPATI’s fare on loyalty. The aimof this research was to know and to analyze the influence of network quality andsimPATI’s fare on loyalty. The research was descriPT.ive quantitative;. The data wereprocessed by using SPSS version 16 software. The hypothesis was tested by usingmultiple linear regression analysis, F test and t test in order to know the influence ofindependent variables on the dependent variables in the liability of 95% (α =0.05). Thedata were collected by questionnaires. The result of the research from the simultaneoustest showed that the network quality and simPATI’s fare had positive influence on loyalty.The variables of the network quality played an important role in determining the loyaltyof Aceh Singkil government employee, compared with the variables of simPATI’s fare.The variables of network quality and simPATI’s fare were able to explain their role ingiving the satisfaction of the pre-paid Telkomsel consumers 35,2% to the Aceh Singkilgovernment employees, and the rest (64,8%) was explained by the other variables whichwere not studied in this research. The conclusion of this research was that networkquality and simPATI’s fare had significant influence on the Aceh Singkil governmentemployees.Keywords: Kualitas, Tarif dan Loyalitas.

Abstract

The responsibility of Islamic education is not only mandated to individuals, both parents, families, schools, communities and governments but also is the responsibility of faith, morals, physical, resourceful, spiritual and social. This responsibility is basically aimed at guiding, directing and implementing education so that students have faith, have good morals, be healthy physically and spiritually and with their minds can understand the metaphysical trilogy; God, nature and humans. The responsibility of spiritual education is so that people can worship, guide the spirit with a splash of religion and remembrance. While the responsibility of social education is to shape the personality of students and the community so that they have a complete personality and the community has the responsibility to invite people to the path of goodness, compassion and to prevent people from the path of munkar so that an ideal or best society (khairu ummah) is formed.Keywords: Islamic Education, Responsibility

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and cheating behavior. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a very significant negative relationship between self-confidence and cheating behavior, assuming the higher the confidence, the cheating behavior will be low. The research subjects used in this study were students of SMA Negeri X in Bangun Purba, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, as many as 213 people who were selected using Disproportionate stratified random sampling. Analysis of the data used is to use Product Moment Analysis through the help of SPSS 17 for Windows. The results of data analysis showed r = -0,484, and p = 0,000 (p <0.05) which showed that there was a very significant negative relationship between cheating behavior and self-confidence. The results of this study indicate that the contribution (R2) given the variable confidence in cheating behavior is 24.3 percent, the remaining 75.7 percent is influenced by other factors not examined. Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah 1) kondisi kepercayaan diri siswa, 2) Pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok, serta hasil pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok dalam menumbuhkan rasa rasa percaya diri siswa. Sebagai subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa dan guru BK dengan menggunakan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara. Data yang telah terkumpil dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) bahwa kondisi kepercayaan diri siswa tergolong cukup tinggi namun masih ada beberapa siswa yang tingkat kepercayaan dirinya rendah. Siswa yang memiliki rasa percaya diri rendah ditandai dengan pendiam dan pemalu serta ragu-ragu dan tidak tidak berani mendaftarkan diri mengikuti ekstrakurikuler, 2) elaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok dilaksanakan minimal sebulan sekali dan secara isidental tujuannya adalah siswa dapat mengoptimalkan kemampuan yang dimiliki serta 3) Pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok yang dilakukan guru pembimbing untuk menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri dan dapat menghilangkan sifat pemalu memberikan perubahan dalam diri siswa sehingga mampu mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki. Abstract

Abstract: This paper discussed about the effect of the elimination of the National Examination on the standard of student graduation assessment starting from the introduction, the terminology of the national exam, the objectives, the positive and negative impacts of the implementation and elimination of the National Examination, the history of the National Examination from time to time, the standard of competence of educational unit graduates. Elementary and Secondary, the criteria for passing students after the National Examination were abolished and analysis of the elimination of the National Examination. The removal of the National Examination in 2020 yesterday, Nadiem Makarim issued a statement in Circular Number 4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Education Policy in the Emergency of the Spread of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) that UN participation was not a requirement for graduation or selection for higher education. So that in Circular No. 1 in 2020 explained that the graduation of students was determined through school exams based on the assessment of learning outcomes conducted by the teacher. Abstract

Abstract: Kondisi Dunia yang sedang dilanda Pandemi Covid-19 membuat orang-orang menjadi sangat terbatas untuk melakukan sesuatu. Berbagai sektor terkhusus sektor pendidikan terkena dampak pandemi ini yang mengharuskan para tenaga pendidik dan peserta didik melakukan kegiatan belajar pembelajaran di rumah secara daring/virtual. Mahasiswa dengan berbagai tugas yang diberikan oleh dosen dituntut untuk mampu bertahan di dalam keadaan yang sulit seperti saat ini. mereka harus bisa bertahan dalam segala tekanan, tugas, dan berbagai permasalahan yang dialami selama belajar daring/virtual. Mahasiswa harus mampu menunjukkan resiliensi akademik yang baik selama masa pandemi covid-19 ada. Mahasiwa harus bisa bertahan diberbagai keadaan maupun dalam keadaan covid-19 melanda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa BKI Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi akademik mahasiswa BKI berada pada kategori tinggi dengan presentase 63,12% dan pada kategori sedang sebesar 36,88%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pada masa pandemi covid-19 mahasiswa mampu bertahan di keadaan tersebut dan mampu keluar dari masalah akademik yang dialaminya serta mampu keluar dari tekanan-tekanan akademik yang ada yang dialami selama proses belajar mengajar secara virtual atau daring.  Keywords: Mahasiswa, Resiliensi Akademik, Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

As a learning strategy that is highly recommended for a teacher, cooperative learning strategies requere knowledge and skills to use them. In order for teachers to master well, training is requered along with its implementation. In House Training model that is carried out while the teacher is carrying out his/her job as a teacher. Basic education knowledge is the knowledge needed by a teacher to carry out his duties as a teacher. Research on increasing the ability of teachers to apply cooperative learning strategies is designed as an experimental study. Implemented in Pematangsiantar city among private Madrasah Tsanawiyah tachers with 32 teachers. The research results show that : 1) there are differencies in the ability of teachers to apply cooperative learning strategies between those who have high basic knowledge of education and those who have low basic educational knowledge, 2) there are differencies in the ability of teachers to apply cooperative learning strategies between those guided by the role flaying method and the discussion method, and 3) there is an interaction between basic education knowledge and methods in increasing the ability of teachers to apply cooperative learning stategies. Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penyesuaian sosial terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas X SMK Swasta Satria Binjai Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan sistem pre-tes dan pos-tes untuk mencari suatu hubungan antar variabelnya. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan prestasi belajar siswa masih rendah, hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil pretes siswa yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata hanya sebesar 60,4. Setelah siswa diberikan penyuluhan dengan menerapkan metode penyesuaian sosial, prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil postes siswa sebesar 82,6. Dalam upaya peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa, siswa membutuhkan pemahaman tentang penyesuaian sosial. Karena para siswa telah menyadari pentingnya bersosialisasi dengan sesama agar proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis kerja (Ha) diterima, hal ini berarti bahwa terdapat hubungan antara penyesuaian sosial terhadap prestasi belajar Siswa Kelas X SMK Swasta Satria Binjai Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020, maka peneliti memberikan beberapa saran sebagai berikut: Kepada kepala sekolah agar dapat meningkatkan mutu sarana dan prasarana sekolah agar motivasi dan minat siswa menjadi lebih baik. Kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) agar dapat menerapkan metode maupun teknik dalam melakukan penyuluhan kepada siswa sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Kepada siswa agar lebih meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajarnya. Kepada peneliti yang akan datang agar dapat menentukan metode maupun teknik yang sesuai dengan minat dan motivasi siswa dalam belajar pada saat menghadapi situasi dan permasalahan yang sama dengan judul penelitian ini. Kata Kunci: Hubungan-Penyesuaian Sosial-Prestasi Belajar
