Al-Irsyad: The Counseling and Education Journal is scientific journal in education and counseling guidance that managed by The Bimbingan Konseling Islam Majors of Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan Faculty of UIN Sumatera Utara Medan. Al-Irsyad presents topics about development of counseling guidance profession as a teacher based on the four competence of a teacher. They are pedagogic, personal, social, and professional. Besides that, Al-Irsyad is also emphasize to the integration of islamic values. Al-Irsyad is published two times in a year. There are January-June edition and July-December edition. The first edition of Al-Irsyad was Vol.1, No.1, January-June Edition on 2012, but was not yet have p-ISSN and e-ISSN. Then, in Vol.5, No. 1, January-June Edition on 2015 was published in print with p-ISSN: 2088-8341. Further, Vol. 10, No.1, January-June 2020 Edition on 2020 edition publish OJS with e-ISSN: 2686-2859.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the guidance and counseling program in overcoming the problems of the students who are addicted to online games, special programs to overcome the addiction of online games games and the willingness of students learning skill game online. This research was conducted at SMP Swati Melati Binjai, Jl. MT. Haryono, Ex. Jati Karya Kec. Binjai Timur Binjai City. The population in this study is the students of class VIII, amounting to 31 students. While the sample is the whole population of 31 students.From the results of the analysis of online game kecanduang prior to the guidance and counseling program with an average of 34.2 with a standard deviation of 5.5. From the results of the online game questionnaire analysis after the guidance and counseling program is known to average 38.8 with a standard deviation of 4.1. Both data are normally distributed. From these two variables it is concluded that the two data are homogeny.From the calculation results can be rhitung at 0.619 while the rtabel at the level of 5% of 0.349. so in conclude that the value rhitung> rtabel so Ho in rejected and Ha accepted. Because rhitung is in rejection area of Ho then Ha accepted. Ha accepted then "Guidance and Counseling Program Can Reduce Online Game Addiction By Student Class VIII SMP Melati Binjai Lesson 2017/2018". From the calculation, has obtained the value with a crude number of ttable value is rxy of 2.04. Having known that the value of titung of 4.2. It can also be seen that a significant 5% indicates 2.04, so the value of rhitung> rtabel or 4.2> 2.04. so it can be concluded that "Guidance and Counseling Program Can Reduce With Significant Online Game Addiction By Class VIII Students SMP Melati Binjai Lesson 2017/2018"Keywords: Guidance and Counseling Program, Addiction, Online Game

Abstract

Research on Teacher Counseling Efforts in Tackling Student Anxiety whenSpeaking in Public with Relaxation Techniques at SMP Negeri 6 Percut Sei Tuan Academic Year 2019. Aims to find out and describe the handling by using appropriate relaxation techniques and should be given to students in dealing with student anxiety when public speaking, with the limitation of the formulation of the problem namely to know the efforts of counseling guidance teachers in tackling student anxiety when speaking in public with relaxation techniques of SMP Negeri 6 Percut Sei Tuan Academic Year 2019. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were 2 (two) guidance and counseling teachers and 6 (six) students. While the object of his research is relaxation techniques in dealing with student anxiety when speaking in public at Percut Sei Tuan Middle School. The method of data collection is done through observation, interviews, documentation. The results showed that relaxation techniques can overcome student anxiety when speaking in public.Keywords: Speaking Anxiety, Relaxation Techniques

Abstract

Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi dan upaya meningkatkan kesiapan belajar siswa melalui pendekatan Behavioral. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian berbasis literatur atau studi pustaka. Hasil pembahasan adalah meningkatkan kesiapan belajar siswa dapat dilakukan melalui pendekatan behavioral, pendekatan ini bertujuan bahwa aksi, pendidikan, dan pembelajaran dipandang sebagai inti dari terapi. Siswa mempelajari perilaku baru (adaptif) untuk menggantikan perilaku lama (maladaptif) sehingga siswa mendapatkan cara bertindak yang sehat dan konsruktif. Teknik yang digunakan adalah pengkondisian operan. Prinsip utama pengkondisian operan adalah penguatan positif, penguatan negatif, kepunahan, hukuman positif dan hukuman negatif. Hasil dari konseling adalah untuk meningkatkan perilaku target, yaitu siswa siap menerima pelajaran baru dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The teacher is a profession in education who have ups and downs, the teachersconsidered sacred profession and proud. This was seen when proudly bermenantukan ateacher. However, this time the teacher allegedly as a profession marginalized. It isevident from the many generations that little aspire to be a teacher, because the teacherdoes not have a large income, such as doctors, engineers, pilots and so forth. Teachertaught his students that are beneficial and useful knowledge for the benefit of mankind,teacher personality has its own advantages. Abstract

Islami said the labeling on a counselling course should refer to the teachings of Islam which is rahmatan lil 'alamin and is closely associated with the Qur'an and Hadith as a source of primary law retrieval. Therefore, the integration of the values of the Qur'an and Hadith is an inevitability of both in the ontology, epistemology, andaxiology. Thus Islamic Counselling referred to in this description is different to conventional counseling that come from the West. Counseling West talk about Self concept and Confidance. More than just self concept and self confidence, Islamic counseling talking how the concept of Qur'an and Hadith affirming Tawhid a servant in the position and the correct proportions. By using the methods of the study of literarature which refers directly to the Qur'an, following paragraph sets will focus more elaborate on the basics of Qur'anic in counseling and counseling approaches, principles, methods and techniques of the Islamic Islamic counseling.Keywords: counseling, Qur‟an and Hadith

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and social anxiety. The research subjects used in this study were adolescents with low socioeconomic status in Environment VIII Belawan I numbering 115 people. Data obtained from a scale to measure self-esteem and social anxiety. The calculation is done by conducting the analysis prerequisite test (assumption test) which consists of a normality test and a linearity test. Analysis of the data used is to use Product Moment correlation with the help of SPSS 17 for Windows. The results of data analysis showed a correlation coefficient of -0.595 and a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). The results of the analysis of these data indicate a negative relationship between self-esteem and social anxiety. The results of this study indicate that the contribution given variable self-esteem to anxiety is 35.5 percent, the remaining 64.5 percent is influenced by other factors not examined. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the research hypothesis, namely there is a negative relationship between self-esteem and social anxiety can be accepted. Abstract

pandemi covid 19 yang sedang melanda dunia termasuk Indonesia membuat pemerintah mengambil keputusan untuk melakukan PSBB (pembatasan sosial berskala besar) dengan meminta masyarakat untuk tetap berada di rumah (stay at home) termasuk proses pembelajaran/perkuliahan. Peraturan tersebut dibuat agar memutus mata rantai penyebarab covid -19. Proses perkuliahan yang dilakukan secara daring atau online secara tidak langsung membuat mahasiswa beradaptasi dengan proses pembelajaran yang baru. Mahasiswa dituntut untuk bisa melakukan pengaturan diri dalam belajar (self regulated learning) pada masa covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa BKI Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self regulated learning mahasiswa BKI berada pada kategori sedang dengan presentase sebesar 71,7%, kategori tinggi 17,5% dan kategori rendah 10,8%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa masih perlu adanya adaptasi belajar bagi mahasiswa selama masa pandemi dan perlu adanya pengaturan diri dalam belajar (self regualted learning) yang baik pada dirinya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Islamic Guidance and Counseling study programs at the faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training in UIN North Sumatra, Medan. The research method used is qualitative research methods, namely methods that are designed in such a way as to take and find data naturally. The subjects of this study were steakholders of the BKI FITK UIN North Sumatra study program. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed by data presentation techniques, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research can be summarized as follows: Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN North Sumatra Medan conducts management management of study programs well, where the study program BKI FITK UIN North Sumatra optimizes the empowerment of existing resources to achieve the study program objectives vision, mission of study program. In addition, the vision, mission and objectives of the study program are also adjusted to the vision, mission, and objectives of the Faculty and University. Strategy Management is done is to arrange the distribution of subjects well, the curriculum is prepared in accordance with the needs of the community. Where of the 146 total credits there were 110 credits of courses related to the skills and skills of Guidance and Counseling, while as many as 36 credits were non BK courses and adjusted to the need to support BK's success. Then the subject is taught by lecturers who have the qualifications of Guidance and Counseling in Level 2 and Strata 3. In non-curricular activities, the study program of BKI FITK UIN North Sumatra Medan also forms the Al-Irsyad study forum which aims as a forum for students to do various discussion and creation that is useful for improving students' skills and knowledge about BK.Keywords: management, BKI study programPENDAHULUANPendidikan merupakan salah satu sasaran
