Abstract

The development of Android smartphone technology demands innovation in learning, one of which is through educational games. The Komering culture, as a treasure of South Sumatra, faces the challenges of globalization, which has led to a decline in the younger generation's understanding and appreciation of local cultural heritage. Karang Binangun State Elementary School has integrated Komering language lessons as local content for 6th grade students, but learning still uses conventional methods with textbooks without the development of digital media. This study aims to develop and evaluate Komering culture-based learning media in the form of games to improve local cultural learning in elementary school students. The research uses the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method, which includes the stages of Initiation, Pre-production, Production, Testing, Beta, and Release. The game was developed to cover material on Komering script, language, traditional houses, dances, traditional clothing, and traditional food, and was designed for a single user. The evaluation was conducted through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving students and teachers. The results of the study show that the satisfaction level of respondents in the UAT reached 91.88% out of 22 respondents, indicating that the game is very suitable for use as a learning medium. The game has been released and can be accessed via Google Drive for widespread use. This digital learning medium is expected to contribute to the preservation of Komering culture through a modern, interactive, and effective approach.

Abstract

In the use of information technology, including the system of archiving incoming mails, outgoing letters are very important to support organizational development in terms of operational activities. This is because with the existence of an archiving system in an organization, it can speed up a work process and can make it easier to manage letters and make letters more organized and neat. The researcher sees that there are problems in the Sukamuda village letter filing system where at this time, the procedures applied to the management of incoming and outgoing letters in Sukamuda village, starting from receipt, storage, documentation, to letter verification, are all carried out conventionally. This research aims to make it easier to archive incoming and outgoing letters by developing a website-based archiving application . The research method used is the Development (R&D) method, observation data collection techniques and literature studies, the system development model used in this study is the Waterfall Model. Waterfall is one of the Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) where software development activities start from specification, development, validation, and evolution and then divide it into phases and final testing using the Black Box method. With the implementation of this system, it is hoped that it can overcome problems in the application of letter archiving, especially at the letter stage in villages like to move.

Abstract

Tomato ripeness detection is an essential component in the development of automated agricultural systems, enabling improvements in harvesting accuracy, sorting consistency, and supply chain standardization. Conventional grading processes rely heavily on manual observation, which is subjective, labor-intensive, and unsuitable for large-scale operations. Recent advancements in deep learning enable automated recognition of visual maturity indicators through object detection frameworks, offering a more reliable and scalable solution. This study examines the implementation of two modern detection models, YOLO and DETR, for multi-level tomato ripeness classification involving four distinct maturity stages. The research workflow includes dataset collection, annotation, preprocessing, model training, threshold calibration, and systematic evaluation to assess detection stability and classification behavior under real-world variability.Analysis of model outputs demonstrates that both architectures are capable of identifying multiple ripeness stages with useful levels of consistency, although each model exhibits strengths under different operational conditions. YOLO provides advantages in scenarios requiring real-time responsiveness and deployment on resource-limited hardware, making it suitable for mobile automation and field-based harvesting systems. DETR shows improved interpretive behavior in visually complex environments, particularly when samples exhibit subtle maturity differences or appear in overlapping cluster formations. The findings indicate that no single model is universally optimal and that deployment choice should be based on application requirements, environmental constraints, and operational objectives. This research contributes practical insight to the integration of artificial intelligence in agriculture and provides a foundation for future work exploring model fusion, advanced feature learning, or multispectral input integration to further enhance maturity classification performance.

Abstract

Software reliability is highly dependent on robust data validation mechanisms to prevent data integrity issues. The main issue raised in this study is the risk of input errors in the "Create Doctor Invitation" form in the TemanTernak web application, which could potentially cause invalid data storage. This study aims to evaluate the quality of the system's input validation to ensure its compliance with the requirements specifications. The proposed solution is the implementation of Black Box Testing with the Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) technique. The testing methodology was carried out following the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) stages, in which 17 test scenarios were run to assess four critical elements: name and title, email, phone number, and invitation message. The test results revealed that the system only achieved a functional success rate of 41.2%. Although the application successfully processed standard valid inputs, the system failed to reject the majority of inputs that were outside the tolerance limits (off-boundary) and passed empty inputs in mandatory fields. In conclusion , the current validation mechanism is insufficient to handle extreme conditions. In the future, the implementation of strict server-side validation with range constraints is necessary to mitigate these vulnerabilities.

Abstract

In Indonesia, various agencies and companies are increasingly realizing the importance of digitalization in human resource (HR) management processes. Financial institutions, such as banks, which have complex organizational structures and a large number of employees, require reliable and integrated information systems to support personnel administration effectively. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), as one of the largest and oldest banks in Indonesia, has an extensive operational network reaching the sub-district level, including the BRI Sub-Branch Office (KCP) 16 Ilir in Palembang City. This unit plays a crucial role in delivering financial services while also managing internal HR administration. However, HR management at KCP 16 Ilir is still conducted conventionally using physical documents and simple applications such as Microsoft Excel, leading to inefficiencies in data retrieval, attendance recapitulation, reporting, and performance monitoring. This study aims to address these challenges by developing a dynamic web-based human resource information system. The proposed system enables centralized employee data management, online attendance recording, digital leave submission, and performance evaluation reporting. Developed using PHP Native, MySQL, and Bootstrap, the system is designed to be cost-effective, responsive, and user-friendly, thereby improving efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in HR management at the branch level.

Abstract

Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) is one of the largest state-owned banks in Indonesia with branch offices distributed across various regions, including the BRI 16 Ilir Branch Office located in the central trade area of Palembang City. This branch plays a strategic role in providing banking services such as financial transactions, account opening, and People’s Business Credit (KUR). Based on initial observations, the management of fixed assets at the BRI 16 Ilir Branch Office is still conducted conventionally using physical documents and separate digital spreadsheets. This condition often causes data duplication, delays in updating asset information, inconsistencies between administrative records and physical assets, and difficulties in auditing and monitoring asset conditions. The absence of an integrated system also hampers maintenance planning and asset disposal processes. Therefore, this study aims to develop a web-based inventory information system as an effective solution to improve asset management efficiency and accuracy. The system is designed to record asset data in real time based on category, location, and usage status, and to provide comprehensive monitoring and reporting features. The development process adopts the Waterfall method due to its structured, linear, and well-documented approach. The results are expected to support better asset management practices and contribute to academic references in banking information systems.

Abstract

Choosing a Kindergarten (TK) is an important decision for parents because it involves many aspects such as the quality of educators, curriculum, facilities, costs, and environmental safety. However, the complexity of these criteria often creates uncertainty in making objective decisions. This study applies the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to help provide recommendations for selecting the best kindergarten in the West Bekasi area. The hierarchical structure is built with six main criteria assessed by respondents through pairwise comparisons using Expert Choice. The synthesis results show that Kindergarten C received the highest weight of 0.433, followed by other alternatives, thus being determined as the best choice based on the criteria used. A Consistency Ratio (CR) value of 0.1 indicates that respondents' assessments are within the consistent limit (CR ≤ 0.1). Thus, the AHP model is proven to be able to measure priorities in a structured manner and help parents in making decisions about choosing a kindergarten more objectively and rationally.
