Abstract

CV Karjum Jaya Mandiri adalah perusahaan yang memproduksi berbagai jenis dan ukuran karung sesuai dengan pesanan pelanggan. Dengan beragamnya permintaan pelanggan dapat menimbulkan pemborosan. Salah satu pemborosan yang terjadi yaitu lamanya waktu setup mesin. Perusahaan harus bisa meningkatkan produktivitas agar tidak terjadinya keterlambatan proses produksi. Lean manufacturing yang didalamnya terdapat lean tools yang memiliki peran khusus merupakan salah satu teknik yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengeliminasi pemborosan. Lean tools yang bisa diaplikasikan untuk mengurangi waktu setup mesin adalah Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED). Waktu setup mesin sebelum di lakukannya metode SMED adalah 27,59 menit dan setelah dilakukan metode SMED berkurang menjadi 17,55 menit yang dimana persentase penurunannya sebesar 36,38%. Temuan penelitian ini diharap dapat membantu meningkatkan output, memuaskan pelanggan, dan memaksimalkan keuntungan.

Abstract

Many things must be considered in a production system in the industrial world, such as the performance of a machine or tool used. Productivity is closely related to smooth production. The low productivity of the machine will cause losses for the company, where this loss is caused by the use of ineffective and inefficientmachines. This study aims to determine the performance of the machine and the factors that cause damage to the press machine at PT Ciptaunggul Karya Abadi. The research was conducted using the application of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to increase productivity and maximize facilities. TPM is also accompanied by the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) method to measure the performance and accuracy of the machine used. This data is in the form of quantitative which is calculated using the methods mentioned above. The results showed that the average value of the availability rate was 95%, the performance rate was 87% and the quality rate was 99%. From these results, it can be seen that only the performance rate does not meet world-class standards. This is also obtained from the calculation of the six big losses, the largest percentage is in idle and minor stoppage losses, which is 47%. Alternative repair solutions can be carried out by implementing machine maintenance and continuous improvement,providing special training for operators, and reducing non-productive time.

Abstract

Organic waste dominates the waste sourced from the market so it needs to be processed before it goes to the TPA. Utilization of BSF larvae is an effort to process organic waste in reducing the volume of waste that will be disposed of in the TPA. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of BSF larvae to reduce organic waste on the market. The composition of the type of waste used consisted of fruit, vegetable, food waste and mixtures (50% fruit waste: 40% vegetable waste: 10% food waste waste) with a variation of feeding rate of 40, 60 and 80 mg/larvae/day. The number of larvae included in each reactor was 4000 individuals (70 grams) using 5-day larvae (5-DOL) with a composting duration of 18 days. The results showed that BSF larvae were able to reduce organic waste under optimum pH conditions ranging from 7.5- 8.3 with an average temperature of around 31⁰C and humidity ranging from 56-88%. The reduction results obtained in this study were 78% for various vegetables with a feeding rate of 60 mg/larvae/day. The best results of laboratory analysis based on SNI 19-7030-2004 are mixed sample variations with a feeding rate of 80 mg/larvae/day which have a C-Organic content of 32.55%, a C/N ratio of 17%, a moisture content of 12.89%, N total 1.88%, P2O5 2.22% and K2O 2.68%.

Abstract

AbstractRivers in Indonesia are heavily polluted by unmanaged municipal solid waste (MSW) which affects their capacity as drinking water, power, and irrigation sources. This research aimed to analyze the effect of MSW types and contact time on the dynamics of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and ammonia in the waterthat was traced over two weeks period in a batch reactor filled with Ciliwung River organic and inorganic MSW samples. Then, the MSW degradation rates to COD and ammonia (k1) were mathematically analyzed by using the mass balance principle. The results showed that for organic MSW, there were rapid increasesin COD and ammonia concentrations on the first 6 days of the experiment and followed by steady decreases. In contrast, for inorganic MSW, overall steady trends were observed for both COD and Ammonia. The analysis of the degradation rate showed that the values of K1 for COD in organic MSW was ranging from3.841 to 4.655 /day, 10-30 times higher than those of inorganic MSW values, which ranged from 0.122 to 0.425 /day. For ammonia, the values of k1 for organic MSW ranged from 0.0021 to 0.0028 /day, about two times higher than those of inorganic MSW values ranging from 0.001-0.0014 /day. Findings in this studyoffer opportunities to model and simulate COD and Ammonia dynamics in surface water due to MSW contamination.Keywords: COD, ammonia, degradation, solid waste, time effect

Abstract

PT XYZ is trying to increase its productivity because some of this time it is still considered ineffective. Productivity measurements based on fragrance output and the inputs used are the use of raw materials, the amount of labor, machine hours, and electrical energy used. Based on these problems, Objective Matrix (OMAX) is used as a measurement of productivity on the production line. The data used is data from January 2022 to May 2022. The results of the performance indicators that can be achieved by the company during the period January 2022 to May 2022 experienced productivity fluctuations. The highest productivity increase happened in the April 2022 period, at 146.67, while the lowest decline in productivity occurred in the February 2022 period, at -13.33. The factors that need to be improved are the number of employees, the machine's working hours, and the amount of electrical energy utilized.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengklasifikasikan citra Songket Aceh. Data penelitian menggunakan sepuluh motif Songket Aceh dan data diperoleh dari tempat usaha tenun Songket Nyak Mu. Tahapan penelitian ini adalah akuisisi citra, pra-proses, ekstraksi fitur, klasifikasi dan evaluasi. Ekstraksi fitur tekstur citra Songket Aceh menggunakan metode Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM). Fitur-fitur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah entropy, energy, sum of squares: variance, difference entropy dan autocorrelation. Metode Probabilistic Neural Network (PNN) diaplikasikan untuk klasifikasi citra Songket Aceh. Metode Leave-One-Out Cross Validation (LOOCV) digunakan untuk pembagian data latih dan data uji. Hasil klasifikasi citra Songket Aceh dengan metode PNN adalah sebesar 93%.

Abstract

AbstractCompanies must be able to compete with their rivals in the Industrial 4.0 age by boosting productivity. In manufacturing, machinery is typically only used for about 50% of its real capacity. One of the production equipment of PT. Empat Perdana Carton whose performance will be assessed is the die-cut machine. The Overall Equipment Effectiveness method is used to calculate the availability, performance, and quality values combined to generate the average value for measuring the performance of die-cut machines. According to the study's findings, the average availability ratio was 88.89%, the performance rate was 73.90%, the quality rate was 99.73%, and the OEE value was 65.63%. The lack of attention paid to repairs, the difficulty in locating machine parts, the lack of SOP application when using the machine, the unrealized work system, and the poor cleaning of scrap are the causes of the low OEE score.Keywords: overall equipment effectiveness, die cut machine, fishbone diagram, total productive maintenance

Abstract

Terdapat beberapa gas yang dapat mencemari udara diantaranya gas nitrogen dioksida (NO2), sulfur dioksida (SO2) dan karbon monoksida (CO). Nitrogen dioksida (NO2) merupakan polutan udara ambien bersama unsur nitrogen monoksida (NO) yang biasanya dihasilkan dari kegiatan manusia seperti pembakaran bahan bakar mesin kendaraan, pembakaran sampah serta pembakaran batubara dan industri. Pada jalan raya kawasan industri Kalianak Surabaya dilalui berbagai macam kendaraan bermotor yang menimbulkan pencemaran akibat pembakaran bahan bakar kendaraan bermotor, terutama pada waktu pagi hari. Gas pencemar yang timbul akibat pembakaran bahan bakar kendaraan bermotor yang paling dominan adalah karbon monoksida (CO). Konsentrasi udara ambien karbon monoksida yang tertinggi terletak pada titik 1, tanggal 19-08-2022 Sore dengan nilai 14.652,09 µg/m3 dan memiliki nilai konsentrasi terendah pada titik 3 tanggal 17-08-2022 Pagi sebanyak 3.125,98 µg/m3. Konsentrasi udara ambien nitrogen oksida yang tertinggi terletak pada titik 1, tanggal 19-08-2022 Sore dengan nilai 405,02 µg/m3 dan memiliki nilai konsentrasi terendah pada titik 3 tanggal 17-08-2022 Pagi sebanyak 60,45 µg/m3.

Abstract

PT.XYZ adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang perdagangan olahan minyak bumi, sehingga penggunaan Key Performance Indicator (KPI) sudah diterapkan di PT.XYZ untuk mengukur pencapaian kinerja teknis sebuah perusahaan. Penilaian kinerja adalah metode untuk mengukur kontribusi anggota organisasi individu untuk organisasi. Faktor penting bagi perusahaan yaitu Penilaian kinerja dapat digunakan untuk mengukur seberapa baik kinerja perusahaan dalam menggapai visi serta misi perusahaan dalam mencapai tujuan perusahaannya. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode Balanced Scorecard dengan memerlukan empat perspektif untuk menjabarkan perspektif yang ada dalam Key Performance Indicator (KPI) yaitu perspektif finansial, perspektif pelanggan, perspektif bisnis internal, dan perspektif pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan. Sedangkan, dalam tahap Key Performance Indicator (KPI) menghasilkan sebanyak 27 indikator dalam penelitian ini diantaranya yakni Financial dengan 2 indikator, Costumer Focus dengan 11 indikator, Internal Process dengan 11 indikator, dan yang terakhir Learning and Growth dengan 4 indikator. Sehingga performance pada PT. XYZ yaitu sebesar 100% berada pada posisi Sangat Besar.

Abstract

Penelitian in bertu­juan untuk menganalisis faktor penyebab terjadinya masalah bottleneck dengan penerapan metode Theory of Constraint (TOC) dan melakukan perbaikan keseimbangan lintasan menggunakan metode Moodie Young dalam proses produksi steel door di PT. Anugrah Damai Mandiri. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode wawancara dan diperoleh dari dokumen perusahaan berupa data alur proses produksi, kapasitas harian, rating factor, allowance, waktu elemen kerja, data waktu perpindahan, jumlah pekerja, waktu kerja karyawan, dan waktu istirahat karyawan. Hasil analisis menggunakan Theory Of Consraint (TOC) menunjukkan terdapat kendala pada mesin yaitu CNC bending pada stasiun kerja bending dan dari segi sistem manajemen operasional terdapat kendala. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan tidak terdapat Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) yang diterapkan perusahaan. Terdapat 2 workstation yang mengalami bottleneck  adalah di workstation bending dan painting. Diperoleh nilai balance delay sebesar 44,26% dan nilai efisiensi pada proses produksi steel door sebesar 55,73%. Dengan melakukan pengurangan jumlah work center dari 7 menjadi 6 work center dan adanya pemindahan elemen kerja 2 ke work center 1 serta nilai smoothing index sebesar 55,45.
