Abstract

Industri batik merupakan satu industri yang menghasilkan limbah cair yang mengandung zat warna yang tinggi yang dihasilkan dari proses pewarnaan kain batik. Limbah batik akan menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan apabila tidak dilakukan pengolahan. Adapun penelitian ini memanfaatkan serat tebu, kulit kedelai, dan kulit bawang sebagai adsorben dalam menurunkan kadar warna pada limbah batik melalui proses adsorpsi secara kontinu menggunakan fixed bed colom dengan proses koagulasi sebagai pre-treatment. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui kemampuan adsorben serat tebu, kulit kedelai, dan kulit bawang dalam menurunkan kadar warna pada limbah batik. Juga untuk mengetahui jenis adsorben yang optimal, kapasitas absorbansi serta kondisi optimum berdasarkan variasi jenis dan tinggi adsorben yang digunakan. Variabel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah jenis adsorben yaitu serat tebu, kulit kedelai dan kulit bawang, serta tinggi adsorben yaitu 15 dan 25 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adsorben serat tebu variasi tinggi adsorben 25 cm ialah adsorben yang paling optimal dalam menurunkan kadar warna dengan persen penyisihan 93,23%, COD 94,29% penyisihan, dan 93,08% penyisihan TDS dengan kapasitas adsorpsi sebesar 2,96588 mg/g dengan waktu jenuh pada menit ke 60.

Abstract

Kurirku merupakan sebuah aplikasi kurir dan ojek online lokal yang menawarkan layanan transportasi, pengiriman barang, pemesanan makanan, belanja bahan makanan dan penyedia layanan profesional. Aplikasi ini menyediakan layanan transportasi menggunakan perangkat seluler untuk menjadwalkan permintaan penjemputan penumpang dari lokasi yang ditentukan oleh pengguna dan dikirimkan sesuai dengan urutan baris dalam aplikasi ojek online mobile tersebut. Aplikasi Kurirku dalam penggunaan, kontrol melalui gps sebagai bantuan peta atau peta lokasi. Tarif yang berlaku untuk Ojek Kurirku di Palangka Raya untuk jarak 6 km pertama adalah Rp. 15.000,-. Setelah 6 km dikenakan tarif Rp. 2.000,-/km dan jumlah armada Ojek Kurirku yang beroperasi di Palangka Raya adalah 55 armada sepeda motor. Menurut Keputusan Menteri Perhubungan Nomor 348 Tahun 2019, Kementerian Perhubungan telah menetapkan batas atas dan batas bawah tarif di wilayah Kalimantan Rp.2.100 – Rp.2.500 per kilometer. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya analisis terhadap tarif Ojek Kurirku berdasarkan Biaya Operasional Kendaraan untuk mendapatkan berapa besaran tarif standar Kurirku di Kota Palangka Raya. Tugas akhir ini memperhitungkan besar biaya operasional kendaraan dan memperhitungkan tarif Ojek Kurirku yang beroperasi di Palangka Raya. Sampel kendaraan yang dipilih dalam analisis adalah motor merek Honda, Yamaha dan Suzuki. Biaya operasional kendaraan diperhitungkan dengan mengacu pada peraturan Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Darat Tahun 2002 dan Keputusan Menteri Perhubungan Nomor 348 Tahun 2019. Tarif Ojek Kurirku untuk motor Honda PCX 150 (2020) adalah Rp. 2.396,-/km, tarif Ojek Kurirku motor Yamaha NMAX 155 STD (2020) adalah Rp. 2.447,-/km dan tarif Ojek Kurirku motor Suzuki Nex II STD (2019) adalah Rp. 2.109,-/km.Kata Kunci: Biaya Operasional Kendaraan, Biaya Langsung, Biaya Tidak Langsung, Tarif.

Abstract

Good snack food production is very beneficial for small and large scale food industry to produce quality food, suitable for consumption and safe for health, and Good Food Production for household industry (IRT) needs to be applied to household scale industry. This is inseparable from the role of traders in serving buyers or visitors who Hygienes and meets the rules of food sanitation.Food safety efforts through sanitation development and using personal protective equipment (PPE) for food traders in jalan Malioboro can also increase the number of tourist visits to the city of Yogyakarta. The problem found in the field is that during a pandemic like today, food traders in serving visitors pay less attention to sanitation and do not use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The purpose of this study is to determine the description of the use of PPE and can determine the effect of food sanitation development with the application of the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for food traders in Malioboro Street. The research method uses experiments with one group Pretest-Post test design research design. Stages by providing guidance on sanitation and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) then analyzed the number of visitors before and after coaching using statistical analysis of One Way Anova test. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the level of knowledge is less than 6 traders (10.72%), moderate knowledge is as much as 27 traders (48.21%). Then after given guidance sanitation hygiene sanitation traders 49 (87.5%) qualified.  the analysis results obtained that the test results obtained sig value (pvalue) 0.000.  The value is smaller than the alpha of 0.05 / 0.01, which means there is a significant difference in the treatment of the use of PPE against the number of visitors (H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted)

Abstract

Every year around 24 million people die from work accidents, which include 360,000 fatal accidents and it is predicted that 1.95 million of them are caused by fatal diseases that arise in the work environment. PT Pelindo III is a company that serves as a public port operator (terminal operator). In 2011 according to the Ministerial decree of Transportation Number: KP 88 of 2011 concerning the granting of a business license to PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) as a Port Business Entity covering the provision and service. Therefore, the function of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III also increases. Evaluation is one of the stages in the process of carrying out a fit to work health examination which aims to provide recommendations for developing the process. The purpose of this examination is to study the implementation of the program on fit to work which discusses efforts in implementing occupational health and safety at the Kalimas Terminal in Surabaya. In this study using quantitative descriptive research as a research design with interview and survey methods. The informants of this study were 11 people from Kalimas Terminal employees. The results obtained in this study are the implementation of fit to work program at Kalimas Surabaya Terminal has been carried out optimally and effectively

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate fire protection system of educational laboratory building of Universitas Samudra in Langsa city. The building, containing chemical and biological materials that are susceptible to fire, should be protected carefully against potential fires. In addition, sophisticated and expensive equipment for practicum and research including the physical building material are also an additional factor to be preserved according to large investments budget provided. The building, served as practicum and research center will be reviewed from the aspect of active, passive, and management systems that refer to Indonesian standards and regulations. Field observations, data collection and interview were performed in observing the existing condition of the building using descriptive methods. To support the evaluation process, building model is carried out using Sketchup, AutoCAD and Dialux simulation in order to achieve more in-depth observations. The results of this study show that in general the building has met adequate fire protection system standards. The existing volume of the ground water tank is only sufficient for the daily operational needs of water in the laboratory building. However, this amount is not sufficient in a fire scenario. The addition of a new ground water tank and the addition of a Siamese connection to support the need for water imported from fire trucks is required. In addition, there is a need for a fire hazard management team in the building and the need for technical operational standards for the maintenance of all components.

Abstract

AbstractThe energy security crisis and environmental pollution from the excessive use of fossil fuels are contributing to the urgent search for renewable energy resources. The crisis of shortage of fossil fuels is anticipated by using alternative fuels derived from renewable biomass. In Sawahlunto Sumatera Barat province, there is one biomass potential, namely Betung Bamboo (Dendrocalamus asper) which is used as an energy generator from former mining pits. This study aims to evaluate the pyrolysis biochar from Betung Bamboo with optimum temperature and time. In the biochar process, the decomposition of organic matter produces solid materials in the form of activated charcoal, gases and vapors and aerosols. Research to determine the optimum conditions for making biochar from Betung Bamboo has a temperature variable of 400, 500, 600, 700 and 800 oC and a time variable of 30, 45 and 60 minutes. The results of carbonization were analyzed for calorific value, volatile matter content, bound carbon content, moisture content and ash content. bound carbon content The results showed that the best parameters were obtained at 600 oC and 30 minutes, calorific value 7100 cal/g, moisture content value 4.7%, ash content value 5.73%, volatile matter content. content value of 4.7% and bonded carbon value of 78.09%. All of these parameter results meet the quality standard values of SNI 01-6235-2000, which indicates that Bambu Betung biochar has the potential to be used as a renewable alternative fuel.Keywords: bamboo, energy plant, carbonization, biochar, pyrolysis

Abstract

The provision of drinking water is one of the basic needs and socio-economic rights of the community that must be fulfilled by the Government. The rapid development of housing in Taktakan Sub-district, the main and supporting infrastructure needs to be properly prepared. One infrastructure that is prioritised is the drinking water supply system. The research used the observation method to see the condition of the Cikaduen River, and laboratory tests to analyse raw water sources with physical, chemical, and microbiological parameters. This research was conducted from December 2021-March 2022. The purpose of this research is to prepare a drinking water supply system planning in Taktakan District. Based on the results of laboratory tests, physical parameters such as temperature, TDS, and TSS all meet the Class I Water Quality Standards PP 22 of 2021, while for chemical parameters some parameters exceed the quality standard threshold such as BOD5, COD, DO, Fluoride, Copper. Microbiology meets the Water Quality Standard. The instantaneous discharge of Cikaduen River is 518 l/s. From the results of hydrological analysis, it is known that the availability of water to serve the population in Taktakan is 60 ltr/s. Based on the availability of water from the results of the analysis using FJ Mock, the Cikaduen River is suitable to be used as a source of raw water.

Abstract

Air limbah domestik yang dihasilkan dari perumahan Panterik Banda Aceh dikumpulkan pada sebuah kolam terbuka di kampung dengan karakteristik limbah berwarna hitam kecokelatan dan mengeluarkan bau tidak sedap terhadap masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa efektifitas kinerja biofilter bermedia sedotan plastik dan pasir lambat dalam mengolah limbah cair domestik sebagai alternatif pengolahan limbah cair berkelanjutan. Efektifitas penyisihan pada tiap unit proses diukur pada waktu tinggal 0 hari, 2 hari, 4 hari dan 6 hari, dengan pemberian perlakuan awal pengendapan dan tanpa pengendapan 24 jam. Nilai pH sebelum perlakuan adalah 5 dan meningkat menjadi 7 setelah 6 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efektifitas penyisihan limbah dengan perlakuan pengendapan pada parameter TSS, BOD dan COD secara berturut-turut sebesar 92.13%, 77.28% dan 58.83%. Perlakuan tanpa pengendapan menunjukkan kadar TSS 86.89 %, BOD 71.52%, and COD 26.92%. Hai ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa waktu kontak dan perlakuan awal sangat berpengaruh terhadap efektifitas pengolahan limbah cair domestik. Nilai parameter: pH, TSS, BOD dan COD masih dalam standar Baku Mutu PermenLHK No. 68/Menlhk/Setjen/Kum.1/8/2016, dan aman dibuang ke badan air. Kombinasi proses biofiltrasi dan filtrasi terbukti mampu diterapkan sebagai salah satu pendekatan berkelanjutan dalam pengolahan limbah Perumahan Panteriek dan perumahan lainnya di Banda Aceh.

Abstract

To meet its domestic energy demands, Indonesia continues to minimize its reliance on fossil fuels and rely more on renewable energy sources. This is done to guarantee that the energy is distributed evenly throughout the area. Given the potential and availability of renewable energy sources in nature, Indonesia can meet the EBT mix target of 23% in 2025 and 31% in 2030. It’s only that attaining the EBT mix target is difficult; Indonesia faces numerous hurdles. As a result, based on the most recent books and research, this study addresses the obstacles that Indonesia faces in meeting market demand for new and renewable energy goods and services. These obstacles, it is anticipated, would subsequently push Indonesia to take bold moves in rejuvenating the energy sector, strategic policies, and major investment.

Abstract

Patikan kebo (Euphorbia hirta) is a wild plant that has a long history as a medicinal herb throughout the world. This article is a review article that examines the potential of patikan kebo as a medicinal plant. The preparation of this article used literature studies from various scientific articles relating to the results of phytochemical screening, ethnobotany, and biological activity of patikan kebo reported in the last 10 years (20132023). This plant has secondary metabolite compounds that have been isolated from all its organs, such as flavonols, hydroxybenzoic acid, tannins, flavones, lignans, and mineral salts. Several studies have reported that the plant has biological and pharmacological activities such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antimicrobial, antidiabetic, antidiarrheal, antigout, diuretic, and toxicity. Patikan kebo is also safe to use based on its toxicity test. This review study can be used for the identification and preparation of a patikan kebo monograph. This shows that in the future, patikan kebo can be developed as a medicine from natural ingredients
