Abstract

Perishable product adalah suatu produk yang sangat rentan mengalami kerusakan salah satunya adalah cabai rawit. UD Sayur Gresik adalah salah satu usaha yang bergerak di bidang sayur yang salah satu produk nya yaitu cabai rawit berdasarkan dari plot data penjualan cabai selama dua bulan adalah pola data stasioner berdasarkan dari pola data tersebut maka peneliti memilih menggunakan metode moving average dan single exponential smoothing karena metode tersebut dapat dipertimbangkan untuk meramalkan permintaan cabai di UD Sayur Gresik serta perbandingan untuk menilai keakurasian dari kedua metode tersebut menggunakan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Square Error (MSE) dengan bantuan software minitab untuk mendapatkan hasil secara akurat. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa metode single exponential smoothing lebih baik daripada moving average karena memiliki nilai error lebih kecil sebagai berikut MAPE sebesar 25,621 ; MAD sebesar 23,257 ; MSE sebesar 875,685 Metode tersebut meramalkan bahwa pembelian cabai pada 15 periode berikutnya sebanyak 66,2 kg cabai. Kata Kunci: Cabai rawit, Moving average, Single exponential smoothing, Peramalan, Stasioner.

Abstract

Determining the source of raw water at a Regional Drinking Water Company is the first step in determining the location or place to fulfill raw water for clean water treatment purposes. One alternative that can be used as a source of raw water is river water. The purpose of this study is for initial analysis of a water source to be used as an alternative source of raw water for clean water treatment. In determining the selection of source water, there are 3 parameters that must be met for a water source, namely: Quantity, Continuity, and Quality. This research uses a quantitative analysis method in the form of field data measurements of population and population growth projections in the distribution area, by analyzing the quality test of the Cibanten River. Based on the results of data processing, the total average clean water needs of Serang District and Kasemen District is 697.06 liters/second, the water discharge capacity of the Cibanten River in 2020 has an average of 3,690 liters/second so that the Cibanten river discharge is suitable as a source of raw water. for the quantity and continuity parameters. For testing the water quality of the Cibanten River with parameters BOD, COD, TSS, TDS and pH, the value of the content of TDS and pH meets the environmental quality standards, for the values of TSS, TDS and BOD the results exceed the environmental quality standards. It needs to be treated first before being used as clean water and drinking water.

Abstract

Sea breezes or what are commonly referred to as monsoon winds have varying speeds, as well as different directions at each location. This study discusses the wind speed that occurs on the coast of Java Island, especially at TPI Beach, Lumajang Regency. Where this wind is a variable that has a certain speed. This wind speed is indicated to also cause changes in the shoreline where the wind, which can cause waves, hits the shore repeatedly so that it experiences abrasion. The wind data used is wind data for 5 years, from 2015 to 2020 obtained from meteorological reanalysis data for the study of wind energy potential ECWMF (European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts). At this TPI beach location, the average wind speed ranges from 7-11 knots or 3-5 m/s, where the direction of arrival after data processing with the Windrose method is obtained, and east is the dominant wind comes from. In addition to the wind speed that occurred at TPI Beach, it was also discussed about the wind speed that occurred at other locations, some of which also experienced changes in the shoreline, and several other locations that did not experience the same thing but were located along the coast of Java Island both from West Java and Central Java.

Abstract

The surface water quality is getting more attention at this time, given the lower quality in some areas of West Java. Mostly the causes of the decline in water quality is due to the disposal of domestic wastewater. Oil and grease is one of the parameter in domestic wastewater that must be considered. Eco enzyme is made from the anaerobic fermentation of organic waste from fruits and vegetables which has a a versatile performance. The aims of this study is to determine whether eco enzyme made from citrus waste has the potential to be used to degrade the concentration of oil and fat in domestic wastewater. The sample used was artificially made from domestic wastewater samples which were intentionally added to oil and grease so that the initial concentration was 19.82 mg/L. In the sample that had been added 5% eco enzyme, the concentration of oil and grease managed to decrease to 13.84 mg/L after 9 days of observation, compared to that which did not add eco enzyme to 15.93 mg/L. The t Test statistical analysis showed that the oil and grease concentration reduction in the two treatments was significant, but the ANOVA analysis results showed that the two treatments did not differ significantly.

Abstract

Nutmeg oil, also known as essential oil, is an oil extracted from the seeds or leaves of nutmeg through a distillation process. Nutmeg oil has several advantages, including as an antibacterial ingredient, an additive in the perfume industry, and as a raw material for medicines in the pharmaceutical industry. In this study, the essential oil from nutmeg leaves was produced using the steam-water distillation method, where the nutmeg leaves were dried before the steam-water distillation process was carried out. As a fixed variable, 150 g of bulk cooking oil and 150 g of bimoli cooking oil were used, while as a variable, steam-water distillation temperature was used with temperature variations of 105 oC, 115 oC, and 125 oC. Samples of 1 mL, 2 mL, 3 mL, and 4 mL of nutmeg leaf oil were mixed with bulk cooking oil to compare the free fatty acid oxidation ability and peroxide value after 1 day, 3 days, 5 days, and 7 days. Analysis of the compound content of nutmeg leaf oil, free fatty acids, peroxide number, and antioxidant activity was carried out using GC-MS and 0.004% DPPH. The production of nutmeg leaf oil was obtained as much as 91 ml by steam distillation at a maximum temperature of 125 oC. Using a DPPH of 0.004 percent and a quantitative measure of IC50, the optimal antioxidant activity at 125 oC was found to be 2.03 percent. A comparison of free fatty acid numbers and peroxide values found in this study revealed that pure bimoli cooking oil had the lowest free fatty acid and peroxide values.

Abstract

UKM Jamur Raya is one of the industries that produce oyster mushrooms and is located in the village of Gesikan, Subdistrict of Gantiwarno, Regency of Klaten. The production carried out by UKM Jamur Raya is the manufacture of mushroom seeds until the planting of mushroom seeds in baglog. During the planting process, it will produce waste as a leftover baglog. Baglog waste, if only disposed of, will cause environmental problems and problems for mushroom cultivation. For this reason, it is necessary to treat baglog waste, and when viewed from the content of baglog waste, one thing that can be done is to process baglog waste into compost. The composting method used in this research is vermicomposting, which is making compost by adding worms. There are several factors in composting, one of which is the ratio of C/N values. If the organic matter is still not appropriately decomposed, then the C/N value is large and vice versa. Nitrogen content in baglog waste is very small at 0.6%, so additional materials are needed that can be used as a nitrogen source, one of which is cow dung. The most optimal vermicomposting results are found in the comparison of the composition between baglog waste and cow dung of 5 kg of baglog waste : 2.5 kg of cow dung with a C content value of 0.522%, a N content value of 20.18%, and a C/N ratio value of 20.18%.

Abstract

Currently, the Electrical Engineering Laboratory (EEL) of Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani has a 1 kWp photovoltaic (PV) system. However, in order to fulfill the overall load, the hybrid link to the grid must be improved. The PV system and the grid must be synchronized in terms of voltage, frequency, and phase. This article presents comparative simulations of AC-AC converter models of power electronics component variants using MATLAB 2019a. Among other stages is to model the DC-DC Converter in order to enhance the output voltage of the solar panel by identifying the circuit characteristics. The second stage involves simulating the MOSFET-based DC-AC Converter circuit, which is used to convert DC to AC. The use of switching Thyristor, Gate Turn-Off Thyristor (GTO), and Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) in an AC-AC phase converter to connect to the grid is examined in this range. Non-linear and linear loads are used to represent the load on the AC Cycloconverter range. Based on the results of the modeling and analysis of the PV 1 kWp system, the AC Cycloconverter in the first stage may provide a frequency of 50 Hz with a voltage drop of 235.4 V for the line and 231.9 V for the non-linear, which meets the AC Cycloconverter criterion.

Abstract

The existence of the MBKM program promoted by the Minister of Education has shifted the existing curriculum. The aim is none other than to improve the competence of graduates, both soft skills and hard skills, to be more prepared and relevant to the needs of the times. Prepare graduates as future leaders with excellent and personality. There are about 8 programs carried out by the government. This research is amazed at the development of the Sustainable Study Program at MBKM with the Application of SWOT Analysis and BMC. The results of the IE matrix are in quadrant V, namely (1) maintaining existing Study Programs while managing the management of existing Study Programs according to MBKM directions; (2) use opportunities within the PT Muhammadiyah association to build a joint cooperation program; (3) using existing partner radar to reach partners outside the study program's reach; (4) Strengthening cooperation between Study Programs within the campus, to build the reach of partnerships between fields; (4) Strengthening cooperation between Study Programs within the campus, to build the reach of partnerships between fields. As for BMC, the results are (1) Study Program X can prepare a curriculum according to MBKM directions before joining the MBKM program; (2) Study Program X captures the existing potential, which here is to expand the partner network for Tri Darma or laboratories; (3) Study Program X has more potential for alumni and surrounding companies, to attract many interested people.

Abstract

Risk is a threat that can disrupt activities or stop the production process. PT.YPT is one of the business entities engaged in the processing of tuna, especially tuna. PT.YPT itself has produced a lot of tuna which cannot be avoided, so risk mitigation is needed. The purpose of this research is to provide risk mitigation from priority risk sources that occur in tuna production activities using the House of Risk (HOR) approach and Fuzzy Logic. Data was collected by means of field observations and literature studies as preliminary research, after which the authors also conducted interviews, brainstorming and distributing questionnaires to internal companies. It can be seen that the risks that can occur in production activities are 23 risk events and 22 risk causes of which 3 risk causes have the highest percentage, namely unskilled operators (A5), less than optimal employee performance (A17) and corrosion of tools (A21). . With the Mamdani fuzzy logic approach that forms 124 IF-THEN rules, it can be seen that the three risks can be solved easily. Mitigation design is carried out to overcome these three risks by making preventive actions as many as 14 mitigation alternatives based on literacy studies and the results of discussions with the company which will be designed in the form of a traceability chart.

Abstract

PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan manufaktur  pengolah  kayu. Jenis kayu yang diolah yakni kayu log jati A3 hara, A3Hind, A3 lokal, KBP, dan A2.  Pada kayu log jenis jati A3lokal, KBP dan A2 menjadi bahan baku yang permintaannya paling banyak. Sehingga, untuk mengantisipasi kekurangan bahan baku, PT. XYZ melakukan pembelian kayu log dengan perkiraan, tetapi dapat menimbulkan kelebihan atau kekurangan persediaan dan penurunan kualitas kayu. Sehingga, perlu dilakukannya analisis pengendalian persediaan bahan baku kayu log jati A3 lokal, KBP, dan A2 menggunakan pendekatan EOQ dan JIT guna untuk mengendalikan persediaan yang optimal, karena dapat menghitung jumlah persediaan, jumlah safety stok dan biaya persediaan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengendalikan persediaan yang optimal. Penelitian ini menunjukkan EOQ dan JIT lebih optimal dibanding perusahaan.Pada perusahaan biaya persediaannya A3 lokal (Rp15.681.878), KBP (Rp.2.028.816) dan A2 (Rp. 5.339.648) sedangkan dengan EOQ A3lokal(Rp. 13.253.744), KBP (Rp. 1.518.933) dan A2 (Rp. 4.912.964) dan  JIT A3lokal (Rp. 7.013.149), KBP(Rp. 907.314) dan A2 (Rp. 2.387.963). Kata Kunci: kayu log jati, persediaan, biaya, economic order quantity (EOQ), just in time (JIT).
