Abstract

This study was started from the problem in speaking ability on English material of SMP Negeri 1 Padangsidimpuan where most of students have the low ability in speaking English. To improve speaking ability on English material of SMP Negeri 1 Padangsidimpuan was applied STAD model. Result of this research from each cycle could be seen from the students’ achievement in learning process, in which the average of the value on cycle I students got scores 78.61% with completeness 80.95%, meanwhile the average of the value on cycle II students got scores 86.71% with completeness 100%. It could be concluded that the using of STAD model could increase students’ speaking ability on English material at the IX-1 class of SMP Negeri 1 Padangsidimpuan. Abstract

This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the implementation of clinical supervision of sharing of experience techniques in learning which aims to determine the extent to which the use of this approach can improve teacher communication skills in learning by implementing clinical supervision of sharing of experience techniques in class VI SD. State 257 Workshop, Batang Natal District. The subjects of this study were students of Class VI SD Negeri 257 Bengkel Batang Natal District with a total of 24 students, 13 of whom were female and 11 were male. Based on the results of the pre-cycle test, many students have not finished learning. Of the 21 Grade VI students of SD Negeri 257 Bengkel, Batang Natal District, only 6 students (25%) scored 70 and above (completed). While the other 18 students (75%) scored below 70 (not completed). For this reason, researchers feel the need for an effort to improve teacher communication skills in student learning in Indonesian lessons by making Learning Improvements through a study. From the research carried out, it was found that there was an increase in learning outcomes after the action was carried out. In the first cycle, the percentage of student learning completeness was 54.2% and the score of class completeness was 62.5% with the lowest score of 50 and the best score of 80. In the second cycle, the percentage of student learning mastery was 100% and the score of class completeness was 87% with a score of 87%. the lowest was 70 and the best score was 90. There was an increase in students' poetry writing skills in Indonesian language lessons from cycle I to cycle II, for the percentage of student learning mastery there was an increase of 45.8% and the score of class completeness was 24.5%. The students' Indonesian learning activity in the first cycle was 62.4%, while in the second cycle it was 74.5%. There was an increase in student activity from cycle I to cycle II by 12.1%. The average value in the first cycle is 65 and in the second cycle it is 78.3. There was an increase in the value of 13.3. Likewise, teacher activity in the first cycle was 76%, while in the second cycle it was 86%. an increase in teacher activity or performance by 10%. And in the end there is a significant effect between increasing the ability to write poetry by using the implementation of clinical supervision of sharing of experience techniques on student learning outcomes, the higher the student's activity in learning, the higher the value of learning outcomes obtained.

Abstract

The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Jigsaw Learning method which aims to determine the extent to which the use of this method can improve student learning outcomes in the Materials of Learning to Describe in Class VII UPTD. SMP Negeri 2 Ulu Pungkut, Mandailing Natal Regency. The subjects of this study were Class VII students with 19 students, 8 of whom were female and 11 were male. From the research carried out, it was found that the increase in students' Indonesian learning outcomes through the application of the Jigsaw Learning model in the Learning Materials to Describe. In the first cycle, the students' learning mastery percentage was obtained 57.9% and the score of class completeness was 71.4% with the lowest score 50 and the best score 70. In the second cycle, the students' learning completeness percentage was obtained by 100% and the class completeness score was 86.0%. with the lowest score of 70 and the best value of 90. This value has met the indicators of success. This means that there is an increase in students' Indonesian learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, for the percentage of mastery learning there is an increase of 42.1% and the score of class completeness is 14.5%. There is an increase in students' Indonesian learning activities through the Jigsaw learning model in Class VII UPTD. SMP Negeri 2 Ulu Pungkut Academic Year 2021/2022. This can be seen from the results of observations of student activities in the first cycle of 61.47%, while in the second cycle it is 72.95%. This means that there is an increase in student activity from cycle I to cycle II by 11.47%. There is an increase in teacher activity through the Jigsaw learning model in Class VII UPTD. SMP Negeri 2 Ulu Pungkut Academic Year 2021/2022. This can be seen from the results of observations of teacher activities in the first cycle of 76%, while in the second cycle it is 86%. This means that there is an increase in teacher performance from cycle I to cycle II by 10%.

Abstract

This research was conducted at UPTD. State Elementary School No. 213 Hutarimbaru Kotanopan District, Mandailing Natal Regency with the research subjects being 21 Class VI students. From the results of classroom action research, there is an increase in students' learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education through the application of the Learning Model Group discussion on the material of Surah Al-Qodr and Al-Alaq in Class VI UPTD. State Elementary School No. 213 Hutarimbaru Academic Year 2021/2022. This can be seen from student learning outcomes in the first cycle, the percentage of student learning mastery is 52.4% and the score of class completeness is 62.5% with the lowest score of 50 and the best score of 80. In the second cycle, the percentage of student learning completeness is 100% and the score is class completeness score of 85.2% with the lowest score of 70 and the best score of 90. This value has met the indicators of success. This means that there is an increase in student learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education from cycle I to cycle II, for the percentage of student learning mastery there is an increase of 47.6% and the score of class completeness is 22.7%. The increase in Islamic religious education learning activities can also be seen from the results of observing student activities in the first cycle of 61.0%, while in the second cycle it is 73.2%. This means that there is an increase in student activity from cycle I to cycle II by 12.2%. Likewise with teacher performance, from the results of observations of teacher performance in the first cycle of 76%, while in the second cycle of 86%. This means that there is an increase in teacher performance from cycle I to cycle II by 10%. So that there is a significant influence between the Group Discussion Learning Model on Islamic Religious Education subjects on student learning outcomes in Class VI UPTD. State Elementary School No. 213 Hutarimbaru Academic Year 2021/2022 both in cycle I and in cycle II, meaning that the higher the student activity in student learning, the higher the value of learning outcomes obtained.

State Elementary School No. 190 Kotanopan, Kotanopan Subdistrict, Mandailing Natal Regency. The subjects of this study were students of Class V UPTD. State Elementary School No. 190 Kotanopan, Kotanopan Subdistrict, Mandailing Natal Regency with 24 students, 13 of whom are women and 11 are boys. Based on the results of the pre-cycle test, many students have not finished learning. Of the 21 students of Class IV UPTD. State Elementary School No. 190 Kotanopan, Kotanopan Subdistrict, Mandailing Natal Regency, only 6 students (25%) scored 70 and above (completed). Abstract

This research was conducted at UPTD. State Elementary School No. 211 Saba Dolok, Kotanopan Subdistrict, Mandailing Natal Regency, this type of research is Classroom Action Research using the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model in learning which aims to determine the extent to which the use of this method can improve student learning outcomes. The subjects this study were students of Class VI UPTD. State Elementary School No. 211 Saba Dolok, Kotanopan Subdistrict, Mandailing Natal Regency with a total of 25 students, 14 of whom are girls and 11 are boys. From the research carried out, it was found that there was an increase in learning outcomes after the action was carried out. There is an increase in student Civics learning outcomes through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model to the material on the role of Indonesia in Southeast Asia. This can be seen from student learning outcomes in the first cycle, the percentage of student learning mastery is 71.4% and the score of class completeness is 62.5% with the lowest score of 50 and the best score of 70. In the second cycle, the percentage of student learning completeness is 100% and the score is class completeness score of 85.4% with the lowest score of 70 and the best score of 90. This value has met the indicators of success. This means that there is an increase in student Civics learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, for the percentage of student learning mastery there is an increase of 37.5% and the score of class completeness is 14.0%. The results of observing student activities in the first cycle were 61.75%, while in the second cycle it was 72.88%. This means that there is an increase in student activity from cycle I to cycle II by 11.13%. And the results of observations of teacher activities in the first cycle of 76%, while in the second cycle of 86%. This means that there is an increase in teacher performance from cycle I to cycle II by 10%. This means that the higher the activity of students in learning, the higher the value of learning outcomes obtained.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 5 Siabu , jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Point Counter-Point dalam pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penggunaan metode tersebut dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas VIII.2 SMP Negeri 5 Siabu dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang, 14 orang diantara perempuan dan 11 orang laki-laki. Dari penelitian yang dilaksanakan diperoleh peningkatan hasil belajar setelah dilaksanakan tindakan. Ada peningkatan hasil belajar PPKn siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Point Counter-Point pada materi Peran Indonesia di Asia Tenggara. Hal ini dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh presentase ketuntasan belajar siswa 71,4% dan skor nilai ketuntasan kelas 62,5% dengan nilai terendah 50 dan nilai terbaik 70. Pada siklus II diperoleh presentase ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 100% dan skor nilai ketuntasan kelas 85,4% dengan nilai terendah 70 dan nilai terbaik 90. Nilai tersebut sudah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan. Hal ini berarti terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar PKn siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II, untuk presentase ketuntasan belajar siswa terjadi peningkatan sebesar 37,5% dan skor nilai ketuntasan kelas sebesar 14,0%. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 61,75%, sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 72,88%. Hal ini berarti ada peningkatan aktivitas siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 11,13%. Dan hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 76%, sedangakan pada siklus II sebesar 86%. Hal ini berarti ada peningkatan kinerja guru dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 10%. artinya semakin tinggi aktivitas siswa dalam belajar akan semakin tinggi pula nilai hasil belajar yang diperoleh.

Abstract

The discussion is about brainstorming technique is to improve students’ speaking ability. It is done at grade XI MAN Siabu. There were reasons to do the research such as Most of students couldn’t speak English well, Students were afraid and feeling ashamed to speak English and English Teacher didn’t use speaking technique in learning speaking subject. Based on the general problem above the formulation in this research was “to what extent brainstorming technique can improve students’ speaking ability at grade XI MAN Siabu?“. This research aimed to know whether Brainstorming Technique can improve students’ speaking ability or not. Moreover, this research was done by using classroom action research by using brainstorming technique to improve students’ speaking ability. The action in this research was done into two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings with four steps. They were planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject was the grade XI MAN SIABU that consisted of 30 students. Here, the researcher used test, observation and interview for the instruments of the research. Finally, the researcher found meant score 57.6. For the first cycle students’ speaking ability. It was an indication that students were low in speaking ability. Whereas meant score79.5. was taken for second cycle of students’ speaking ability improvement. It then there was an indication of students’ speaking ability improvement. So, based on the result of the classroom action research, it was concluded that the brainstorming technique improved students’ speaking ability in MAN SIABU. It was all viewed on the meant scores of students’ speaking ability like in cycle 1 was 57.6 and in cycle 2 was 79.5. Keywords: Technique, brainstorming, cycle

Abstract

Looking at the limited time for people, especially for students and looking at so many subjects that must be studied by a student, it seems that students do not have time to study their religious. Where as in the curriculum of each subject is based on a character- based curriculum, means after following all subjects matter students are expected can keep good relations with their Creator and good relations to all creatures around them. Meanwhile, references to the teachings of the good character it self are only found in the students’ religious scriptures. Religious. The subjects matter presented at every level of elemntary school Education, Junir High School and High School are only two hours in a week, in this little time, seems like it’s enough for a teacher to teach his/her students the contents of each student’s holy kitab especially the based of the character- based curriculum material. This is the basic of the importance of studying holy kitab of every human being, especially students. so a wise teacher must be abble to involve the holy kitab of each student in every material being taught such as Al- Qur’an for Moeslem students’. It is very important for every moeslem teacher to study or interact with the Qur’an as their holy book as the reference for every subject the will tought by them, no exception to science teachers, social teachers and language teachers such as English. Because all references can be found in the Al- Qur;an, specifically for the language mathery Al Qur’an can be used as a media for translating exercises and also as a media for finding examples of words, phrases and examples of sentences. As in teaching noun, verb, adverb and adjective.
