The lack of passionate learning makes students' science year low, as evidenced by the average score of students in science knowledge getting grades under the Minimum Completion Criteria. This study aimed to determine the significant influence of contextual teaching and learning approach assisted by school environment media on the competence of science knowledge of grade IV elementary students. This research was classified as pseudo experimentation using a non-equivalent control group design. The population was all grade IV students, with a total of 482 students. Sampling was using cluster random sampling technique. The sample group selected was grade IVB as many as 33 students as an experimental group and as many as 31 grade IV students as a control group. Data collection tools were used in the form of IPA knowledge competency tests. Posttest data. The science knowledge competency is analyzed using a t-test with polled variance formula. The experiment group's average post-test value was 82.42, and the average post-test value of the control group was 74.90. The t-test analysis obtained tcount = 3,831 and at the level of significance 5% and df = 62 obtained ttable = 2,000. Because tcount > ttable then H0 is rejected (failed to accept). Related to the analysis results can be concluded contextual teaching and learning approach assisted by the school environment media significantly affects the competence of science knowledge grade IV elementary school students.

This research is motivated by students' reading skills that are not optimal and learning activities are less active and interesting. This study was aimed at recognizing the influence of SQ3R comic assisted method application to the comprehensive reading skills in the learning process of Indonesian of the fifth grade. Quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design was conducted in this study. The populations of this study involved 248 students and the obtained sample involved 35 students of the fifth grade from the experimental group and 32 students of the fifth grade from the control group. The data analysis was conducted by using t-test and the formula of polled variance. The analyzed data was obtained tcount= 2.700 > ttable=1.997 at the significance level of 5% (df=35+32-2=65); Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected which means there was a significant difference in reading comprehension skills between groups of students who were taught with the SQ3R method assisted by comic media and groups of students who were taught with conventional learning. Â Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the SQ3R method assisted comic effects the comprehensive reading skills in the learning process of Indonesian in the fifth grade. This research proves that the application of SQ3R method assisted by comic media in reading comprehension skills has a significant effect on Indonesian learning activities so that it affects students' reading comprehension skills in Indonesian.

The results reading skills of students in grade II is relatively low. That is due to the high activity of students who tend to like to play and have not applied the relevant learning method. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect and differences in students' reading skills resulting from the application of the Make a Match type of cooperative learning model assisted by picture media. The type of this study is pre-experimental research with a Static Group Comparison design. The study population was 98 students while the sample of this study was 39 students taken by the selection of all the population in each class as an intact group randomly. The data of the students reading skills were obtained using the non-test method (observation). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, inferential statistics (t-test), and Cohen's test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing obtained from the results of research on students 'reading difficulties (t-count = 14.60> t-table = 1.69 at a significance level of 5%), and there is a Make A Match type cooperative learning model that is assisted by image media to test students' reading skills (d = 4.91> 0.8), thus it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of the type of Make A Match aided by media images has a positive effect on students' reading skills.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, extending (CORE) learning model assisted with audio-visual media on fourth-grade students' mathematics learning outcomes. The type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with a post-test only control group design. The population used in this study was the fourth-grade, with the samples used were IVB class with 34 students as the experimental group and IVA class with 36 students as the control group. The data collection method used is a test method with multiple choice objective test instruments. The obtained data is analysed by using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis. The analysis results obtained were the average score in the experimental group given with the treatment of the CORE learning model assisted by audio-visual media amounted to 21,91. The control group that was not given the CORE learning model's treatment assisted by audio-visual media amounted to 14,00. The t-test analysis obtained count 21,547 and table 2,000 with db. = 68 at a significance level of 5%. With the criteria, count> table so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The difference scores between the experimental and control groups indicate that there is a significant influence in applying the CORE learning model assisted with audio-visual media in the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students.

The problem that is the basis of this research is that students tend to be passive and students are more likely to talk to their peers, so the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the reciprocal teaching model assisted by flash card media on the competence of science knowledge in fourth grade students. The type of this research is quasi-experimental using a non-equivalent control group design. The population contained in this study was 266 students. Samples were taken using a random cluster technique which then obtained an experimental class of 36 people and a control class of 31 people. Data collection for science knowledge competencies using 40 validated objective test instruments. The data obtained were then analyzed using the polled variance t-test. Based on data analysis, it was obtained tcount = 5,250> t table = 2,000 at a significance level of 5% with dk = 65, so, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the reciprocal teaching model of learning assisted by flash card media on the science knowledge competence of fourth grade students. The implication of this research in general is that this model can be used as an alternative for teachers in learning activities in order to increase the competency of students' science knowledge

The lack of interest in learning mathematics is one of the most important problems to be solved. It is because the implementation of a learning model has not been maximized which can stimulate active students in the learning process so that it will have an impact on students' interest in learning mathematics. This study aimed to examine the use of the Metaphorical Thinking learning model for students' interest in learning mathematics in the fifth grade of elementary school. The design of the study was a quasi-experiment with a post-test only no treatment control design. The population of the study was 182 students. The samples were taken using a random sampling technique with a total sample of 70 students. In this study, the data was obtained from a non-test method, namely by using a questionnaire. Descriptive analysis techniques and t-test were used in this study. Based on t-test analysis, the value of tcount was 2.256 and ttable at a significance level of 5% was 2.000. Therefore, tcount> ttable, it means that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It can be concluded that the Metaphorical Thinking learning model affects the students’ interest in learning mathematics in the fifth grade of elementary school. The results of this study can be used as a guide or reference for teachers in designing the learning process in schools.
