Abstract

Understanding physics lessons is generally caused by the lack of innovative teaching materials that facilitate learning. This study aims to develop interactive digital material on momentum and impulse physics in high schools. This research is development research using the Allesi and Trollip development model. This research and development procedure goes through 3 stages, namely planning, design, and development. The techniques used to collect data were observation, interviews, and tests. The instrument used in collecting data was a questionnaire. The subjects of this study were tenth-grade senior high school students. The techniques used to analyze the data are qualitative and quantitative analysis. The study results were the average learning outcome before being given an interactive digital handout display of the momentum and impulses of physics material was 48.93. Then the educators taught using interactive digital physics handouts using the articulate storyline application to increase the average score of students’ cognitive learning outcomes to 81.27. The increase in the average score of students was measured using the N-gain score, and the result was 0.70 in the moderate category. It can be concluded that e-learning tools have been tested effectively to improve student learning outcomes. This research implies that the developed e-learning tools can be used to help students in learning.

Abstract

Teachers are not innovated in developing media, therefore students’ interaction in online learning was not optimal. This issue raised a new problem such as, lack of deepening character values for students. The media developed was an E-Book containing character values. Therefore, this research aims to describe the design process of E-Book product with character values and find out the results of E-Book validation according to the results of expert reviews, individual try-outs, and small group try-outs. The type of this research was a development research by applying ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Then, data collection method which used was questionnaire and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of data analysis were gained based on media validation assessed by content learning experts obtained a score of 91,67% with very good qualifications, instructional design expert obtained a score of 100% with very good qualifications, learning media expert obtained a score of 95,00% with very good qualifications. The results of individual user test on 3 students obtained a score of 95,83% with very good qualifications, and the user test through small group test on 12 student obtained a score of  97,50% with very good qualifications. Based on the results of the product test data analysis by experts (content learning expert, instructional design expert, learning media expert) and user subject test results (students), it can be concluded that E-Book media containing character values were suitable to be used in PPKn learning subject for 5th grade elementary school students. The implication of using E-Book as technology-based learning media supported by existing facilities and infrastructure in schools such as internet access (WiFi), computers / laptops, LCDs, projectors, as well as the readiness and skills of teachers and students in accessing E-Book media.

Abstract

Implementation of distance learning in elementary school during the Covid-19 pandemic, through pre-research observations it was found that many use monotonous learning media causing students get bored in practice distance learning. Elementary school students make social sciences as their least preferred content and the low knowledge of elementary school students about the diversity of national cultures becomes a serious problem and must be addressed immediately. This research aims to developed learning media in the form of interactive learning multimedia material on Indonesia cultural diversity in social sciences learning for fourth grade elementary school students. This research is a type of R&D (Research and Development) using the ADDIE development model. This research was involved 3 validators namely material, instructional design, and media experts as well as reviewers 1 teacher and 12 grade fourth elementary school students. Data collection methods and data analysis using questionnaire and descriptive analysis methods. In trials by material experts, the score percentage of 90%, by learning design experts with a score percentage of 92,5%, media experts obtained results with a score percentage of 95%, so from the experts obtained category A very good qualification (very feasible). The results of the review from 1 grade IV elementary school teacher with a score percentage of 91.7%, review of 3 students in individual trials with a score percentage of 91.1%, the results of user reviews 12 students in the small group trial with a score percentage of 93.9%, were in the category A very good qualification (very feasible). Based on the result that obtained, the interactive learning multimedia content material Indonesia’s cultural diversity is very feasible and can be used in social sciences learning for fourth grade students of Elementary School.

Abstract

Lack of available learning media in the form of videos in a bold learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic, so that it has not been able to attract students' attention while studying. This study aimed to develop a learning media video based on problem-solving in IPA subjects, and its feasibility has been tested according to expert test evaluations and individual trials. The type of this research is a development using the ADDIE model. The method used to collect data was a questionnaire equipped with interviews and observations. The data analysis used was descriptive quantitative and qualitative analysis. The subject of this research was the development of learning video media. The assessment results from the product trial stage by subject content experts were 100%, that was categorized great, by the instructional design experts was 91.67%, that was categorized great, by the expert of learning media was 93.3%, that was categorized great, and individual testing obtained 95, 23%, which were also categorized great. Implicated learning videos are by improving the thinking way of students to think higher is not only in the IPA subject but also in the other subjects. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning video product based on problem-solving is feasible to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Various competencies that students need to master in an effort to strengthen competitiveness, especially in the field of human resources in the 21st century. Learning media integrated with technology is one of the important learning resources to support the learning process. The lack of innovation in the use of learning media that is integrated with technology makes it less optimal for the achievement of learning objectives and mastery of competencies by students. This study aims to identify the need for opportunities for developing instructional media that are integrated with flipbook-based technology in the hope that it can increase students' opportunities in improving scientific literacy skills. This research is a qualitative research with a survey method. Data collection techniques using observations and needs analysis questionnaires. The quantitative data from the questionnaire were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques using percentages that were displayed in a table. The research subjects took senior high school students in grades one and two, with a total of 70 students. The results of this study indicate that 35.7% of students stated that teachers still use Microsoft Powerpoint media and 27.1% of printed teaching materials. The results also showed that students had positive perceptions of the opportunities for developing and utilizing flipbooks as a medium for digital learning. Through the results of this research, it can become the basis for educators in developing and implementing flipbook-based digital learning media to facilitate the learning process.

Abstract

The effectiveness of Undiksha e-learning as one of the official learning media for the Undiksha Physical and Health Study Program has not been measured scientifically. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of online learning using Undiksha E-Learning in the Physical Education and Health Study program during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is descriptive quantitative research with a survey design. The sample of this study was all students of the Physical Education Study Program, amounting to 120 people. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire packaged into google forms. Data analysis used descriptive statistics. The results showed that online learning using Undiksha's E-Learning during the covid-19 pandemic in the Physical Education and Health Study program was quite effective. This is revealed from online learning using Undiksha E-Learning, the concentration of students in paying attention to the explanations of the lecturers is 96%, the level of student understanding of learning materials is 88%, student motivation in participating in online learning using Undiksha E-Learning is 77%, and on student learning outcomes classified as 88%. The results of the study show that online learning using Undiksha's E-Learning during the covid-19 pandemic in the Physical Education and Health Study program is quite effective. The results of this study have implications for the sustainability of the use of Undiksha e-learning as a learning platform used by Undiksha lecturers and students.

Abstract

The implementation of online learning tends to make students bored if they only use learning media in the form of videos taken from YouTube and assignments given by the teacher through Google Classroom and Whatsapp groups. The limited ability of teachers to use digital learning media is the cause of the monotony of learning media during online learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the design and validity of the learning media application being developed. This development research applies the ADDIE model. Data collection was carried out by using a questionnaire method with a questionnaire instrument. The data analysis used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis methods. The subject of this development research is learning media in the form of an android application. Furthermore, the subject matter is reviewed by expert validators, learning design experts, media experts. Finally, the students conducted trials individually and in small groups. The results of data analysis based on media validation by material experts obtained a score of 92.8% with very good qualifications, learning design experts got a score of 87.5% with good qualifications, learning media experts got a score of 85% with good qualifications. The results of individual trials on 3 students obtained a score of 90.1% with very good qualifications and tests through small group testing on 9 students obtained a score of 90.9% with very good qualifications. Based on the results of the analysis of product test data by experts and the results of testing on students, it is concluded that this research learning media is valid and suitable for use in learning by grade VI students.

Abstract

Digital native or screenagers cannot be separated from technology in their education and entertainment (edutainment). That phenomenon gives them an opportunity to be autonomous learners. Regarding the principle of autonomous learners, this study was aimed at developing an Android Package Kit (APK) smartphone application as learning media for facilitating screenagers. A research and development design comprising need analysis, design, and development was employed during the study. Freshmen year of English Language Education who attended English Intensive Course (IEC) were involved in the study. The data were collected through students’ interview guide, document analysis, expert judgment rubrics, and a questionnaire. The result showed that the freshmen year needed innovative, challenging, and fun English learning media in the course. In addition, the application was developed based on five topics found in the document analysis, namely “Meeting at the Campus”, “What You Are Wearing”, “Directions”, “Weather”, and “Necessity and Obligation”. From the result of the expert judgment, the learning media were considered excellent. Both learners and lecturers in this digital era should consider the needs of utilizing technology in teaching and learning process specifically for facilitating autonomous learners.

Abstract

SMK has the challenge of implementing meaningful distance learning using animated video media according to student perceptions. However, students' perceptions about the use of animated video media in distance learning are not yet known. This study aims to measure the perceptions of Mechanical Engineering Vocational School students about the use of animated video media for the development of skills to operate a lathe in distance learning. The research subjects consisted of 73 students of Mechanical Engineering Vocational Schools. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The media feasibility test was carried out by two material and media experts. This study used quantitative descriptive statistical analysis methods, t-test, and One-Way ANOVA with post-hoc advanced tests, namely the Dunnett C and Tukey test to determine differences in students' perceptions of assessment. The results of the media feasibility validation by material experts were 81.875% and media experts 90.625% were in the very feasible category. The assessment of the feasibility of the media by students was 83.714% in the very feasible category. So, that there was no significant difference between male and female students in the assessment of distance learning animated video media.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are not satisfactory and student learning motivation is low. As a result, students cannot fully master the competency of automotive engineering drawings which are learning outcomes.. This study aims to analyze the effect of using autocad software to improve students' online learning outcomes of automotive engineering drawings. This quasi-experimental study used a pretest-posttest design and a control group. All class X students of the engineering and motorcycle business expertise program in two vocational schools became the population in this study. The sample used in this study amounted to 112 students who were divided into 4 classes in two vocational schools. The data collection technique was carried out using tests with multiple choice objective test instruments and drawing worksheets. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with t test. The results of the t test obtained tcount = 9.703 with ttable at a significance level of 5% = 1.986. These results show the value of tcount> ttable, so that it accepts Ha and rejects H0. Thus it is concluded that the use of autocad software in online learning automotive engineering drawings has a significant effect on improving student online learning outcomes.
