The appearance of the book that is less attractive makes students bored in learning. So the need for the application of learning media can help students understand abstract concepts, such as digital comics. This study aimed to develop digital comic learning media on the socio-cultural diversity of fourth-grade elementary school students. The subject of this research is digital comic media, and the object of this research is the validity of the digital comic media that has been developed. This study used a questionnaire method by providing an assessment sheet instrument given to 2 media expert test lecturers, two material expert test lecturers, and two teachers as practitioners. The instrument used to measure the validity of digital comic media is a rating scale in an expert's digital comic media assessment sheet. The data obtained were then analyzed using the mean formula to determine the average validity score of digital comic media. The results of the average validity score of digital comic media obtained from material experts, there is an average validation score as a whole is 4.8, media experts have an average overall validation score of 4.8 and expert practitioners have an average validation score overall is 5.7 with very good qualifications. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be said that digital comic media developed on the topic of socio-cultural diversity are declared valid and suitable for use in student learning.

The lack of availability in assessment instruments used and unmet cognitive levels of C3-C6 resulted in poor quality assessments. This study aims to develop cognitive domain assessment instruments on the concept of heat transfer material in grade V elementary school. This research was development research that used 4D models (Four-D models) to define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subject of study was the assessment instrument of the cognitive realm with the object of research, that was the instrument quality. Measurement of the validity of the content was done on two experts/judges using the non-test method and instruments of the expert validity sheet. Instrument quality measurement was conducted with field trials of 106 students using multiple-choice objective test instruments. The content validity data obtained were analyzed with the Gregory formula, while the field test result data analyzed the validity of the grain, reliability, different power, and difficulty level. The results showed that the validity of the content obtained by 0.97 (very high) with the test results of the item's validity got 30 points of the question was declared valid. The instrument reliability index was developed by 0.85 (very high). The average coefficient of different power obtained is 0.51 (good) with a test device difficulty of 0.52 (medium). The result demonstrated cognitive domain assessment instruments that were developed feasible and can be used in conducting learning assessments in the cognitive realm.

Low-grade students still have difficulty in writing. Writing delays can hinder the learning process. This study aimed to develop writing learning video products for first-grade elementary school students whose validity has been tested. This research refers to the ADDIE development model procedure. However, this study did not implement and evaluate stages due to limited time, effort, resources, and finance. The subjects of this study were two material experts, two media experts, and two practitioners. The object of this research is the validity of the writing learning video. The data collection of this research used a questionnaire method by providing assessment sheets to two media expert lecturers, two material expert lecturers, and two first-grade elementary school teachers. The data from the validation results from the experts were then analyzed using the mean formula to determine the average validity score of the writing learning videos. The analysis results showed that the average validation score for writing learning videos is 4.44 with very good criteria. The average score of validation for writing learning video materials is 4.06 with very good criteria. Based on the analysis results, the writing learning video for first-grade students of SD was declared valid and had very good criteria.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact in various fields, including education. One of the government's efforts to break the chain of spreading COVID-19 is to carry out learning activities online for all levels of education. This study aims to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the learning motivation of fourth grade elementary school students. This type of research is descriptive research, with quantitative and qualitative techniques. The population of this study were all fourth grade students in elementary school, amounting to 186 students. Determination of the sample using saturated sample technique so that the sample used is 186 students. The research data were obtained using the non-test method, namely with interview guidelines and instruments in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire for student learning motivation. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis methods. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the learning process in grade IV SD during the COVID-19 pandemic was carried out in a combination of online and offline. Analysis of the motivation questionnaire data showed that the average student motivation, namely 79.71, was in the low category. So, it can be concluded that the COVID-19 pandemic has a negative impact on student learning motivation.

Less attractive learning media causes low interest in student learning. So, the need for concrete learning media following the stages of student development. This study aimed to create a valid and practical demonstration-based learning video on changing objects in the fifth grade of elementary school. This research is development research using the 4D model. The subjects of this study were two material experts, two media experts, two practitioners, and five students. The method used in data collection in this study is the rating scale method with an instrument in the form of a rating scale ranging from 1-4. The data obtained were analyzed by calculating the validity index of expert judgment and calculating the average response of practitioners and students. The analysis results showed that the material expert's validity index obtained the lowest score of 0.84 and the highest score was 1 with the very good category. The media expert validity index got the lowest score of 0.67 in the good category, and the highest score was 1, which is in the very good category. The overall average score of the practitioner's response was 3.82, and the student response was 3.78, which was in the very good category. Based on the results of this analysis, demonstration-based instructional video media on the topic of changing objects in fifth-grade elementary schools were declared good and suitable for use in the learning process.

During the pandemic, online learning has been carried out almost all over the world, making it mandatory for teachers to have skills in creating fun online learning for students. Teachers still find it challenging to choose an online learning platform that can facilitate students ' learning. This study aims to analyze the differences in student science learning outcomes between students who take online learning using a combination of google classroom and zoom and students who take online learning with the WA group. This study involved a sample of 92 students who were taken by a simple random sampling technique. Data on students' science learning outcomes were collected using tests that had previously been tested for content validity, empirical validity, and reliability coefficients. The collected data were analyzed using one-way covariance analysis by first testing the normality of the data distribution, the linearity of the regression line, and the homogeneity of variance. The results of this study indicate differences in science learning outcomes between students who take online learning a combination of google classroom and zoom with students who take online learning with WA group after controlling for the initial knowledge variable with an average learning outcome of 73.17 and 58.76. It can be concluded that students who take online learning a combination of google classroom and zoom can improve student learning outcomes. This research implies that teachers can use google classroom and zoom as platforms for online learning.

COVID-19 pandemic caused educational institutions apply remote distance learning policy. Zoom is one of popular platforms to optimize online learning through video conference. This study aimed to explore strengths and challenges of using Zoom to support distance English learning. A qualitative approach with narrative inquiry design was employed and students from a junior high school voluntarily participated. Interview was deployed as data collection methods, and the data were validated by triangulation and analyzed by following the interactive model analysis. The study reveals that learning English via Zoom help students to practice English, make teaching-learning process more effective, and facilitate the teacher-student interaction and communication. Moreover, features on Zoom support distance English learning. Those all benefits bring good impact on students’ English learning output. Meanwhile, Zoom is also challenging for students with slow internet connection and unsupported gadget. The activity also spends extra cost for internet bill and need conducive learning environment. It is suggested that government needs to provide better facilities to support online learning, such as providing good internet access.
