The results of the acceptance test data analysis with the Lawshe CVR test obtained a value per item (CVR> 0 or 1) for all items, then the results of the Lawshe CVI analysis obtained a score of 1, then this result means that the value of the content validity of the product content of the group counseling guidebook Modeling technique is high, calculate the effectiveness of the guidebook and get the results 3.17 So based on the value of the effectiveness of the above then according to the criteria. If the value of effect size > 0.50 then the group counseling guide modeling technique is effective to minimize self-efficacy students'in making career decisions. This shows that the level of effectiveness of the modeling technique group counseling guidebook for SMK students is very good, so it is important to develop it for students in school.

This experimental study used a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Through random sampling, 34 students were placed in the experimental group and 32 students were placed in the control group. Data collection used the main data collection method (questionnaire) and complementary data collection methods (observations, interviews, and diaries). The data were analyzed by One-way MANOVA. The results show that there are differences in self-autonomy and self-endurance in the experimental class and control class ( sig = 0.039). The results of Cohen D analysis showed a high level of effectiveness (ES = 0.8). These results prove that behavioral counseling with modeling techniques is effective for improving student’s self-autonomy and self-endurance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of psychoeducational groups with homeroom techniques in increasing understanding about the dangers of premarital sex. The type of research used is experimental research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample used was 7 grade XI students of SMAN 11 South Tangerang City who had a low understanding of the dangers of premarital sex. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. The data collection method used is descriptive percentage analysis and Wilcoxon test. The results of this study indicate that students' understanding of the dangers of premarital sex before and after being given treatment in the form of a homeroom technique psychoeducation group increased by an average of 6.62%. The effectiveness of the psychoeducational group with the homeroom technique is marked by a change in understanding of the dangers of premarital sex. This can be seen from the comparison between the results of the pretest which are categorized as moderate to close to low and the posttest results which increase after being given treatment into the high category. Suggestions for further researchers, it is necessary to conduct similar research by studying the weaknesses in this research, or by developing this research by replacing techniques with more innovative and relevant to the conditions of the research subjects.

Abstract

The findings in the clinical practice field indicate problems related to the inconsistency of parental participation in the therapy that the child undergoes, namely the absence of parents according to the schedule, non-adherence to the therapist's advice, and premature termination. It raises questions of parents' motivation to participate in their children's therapy while no research in Indonesia examines this topic. The current study aims to understand the description of parents' motivation to participate in their child therapy. This qualitative study was conducted by interviewing 3 mothers (age 23-36 years) whose children (age 3-5 years) undergo brain gym therapy at a psychology bureau in Bandung. They are from the same socioeconomic class, have joined the therapy program for at least one month, and were selected using the purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that the underlying motivation for parental participation in child therapy is parents' need for a change in the child's condition and parents' expectation of the therapeutic outcome. Therapy results that match expectations and positive responses from the environment act as reinforcers that make parents willing to continue participating in child therapy.
