Abstract

Based on the review of theories of economic growth, attention is focused on the sources of regional economic growth by purchasing management. Using linear regression models, a sample of data from 83 Russian regions from 2010 to 2016 reflects the short-term dynamics of regressors influence on the gross regional product growth. On the basis of partial elasticity coefficients, it is empirically revealed that the greatest influence on the gross regional product is exerted by investments in fixed capital, in contrast to the costs of technological innovations. The conclusion about the statistically significant difference in the impact of the volume of investment in fixed capital and the cost of technological innovation on the gross regional product is formulated on the basis of a comparison of the modular values of the boundaries of confidence intervals: if the intervals intersect, there is no statistical difference between the coefficients.  It is possible to recommend to apply the results to regional authorities in the development of regional economic policy in the field of investment and innovation.  The assumption that the growth of investment in fixed capital and rising costs of technological innovation increase the gross regional product is empirically confirmed. Investment in fixed capital has a greater impact on gross regional product than the cost of technological innovation. In 2015, 2016 compared to 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, the impact of investments in fixed assets in the direction of increase, relative to the impact of costs on technological innovation is statistically different. In further studies, to eliminate the bias in the estimates of regression coefficients, it is advisable to expand the range of regressors of the gross regional product, to use econometric models for the analysis of panel data.

Abstract

Supply chain management was the action that producer and consumer have done the process to safe vegetable from residue chemicals, i.e., how producer plant and clean before transfer, how consumer select and clean. Research aims were to investigate participation behavior of producers and consumers to vegetable residue chemicals before transfer to market and to propose a model examination. Quantitative method with 400 respondents through semi structured questionnaire who were producer and consumer vegetable. Structural equation model was used to analyze factors influence to vegetable washing treatment. The result findings revealed that demography (age and marriage status), attitude, and information awareness can predict vegetable consumption behavior. Attitude and information awareness identified strongest influence significance to predict vegetable consumption behavior while demography was a bit significance influence. Besides, pesticides were residue that harmful to humans for information awareness. Buying organic vegetables was worthwhile for attitude and a year previous received information and introduction to consume organic vegetables for information awareness. Some misunderstanding issues in knowledge for people were discussed while factors influence to producers and consumers for safe vegetable transportation about washing residue from producer to consumer indicated how good condition people were. Moreover, supply chain management will be discussed based on findings to guide private and government arranging any policy to encourage the right factor in the future.

Abstract

The study, which is carried out on the Thai international firms, is investigating the impact of supply chain improvement planning on the supply chain performance. In addition to that, the study has examined the mediating role of the global configuration of the supply chain. The sample size in this study has been selected of 375, which is considered suitable and acceptable. The stratified random sampling design was used in the research. The population is divided into subgroups or strata from where random samples are drawn from each of the created strata in proportion to the entire population. The SEM-PLS has used to analyze the data. The findings of the study have shown agreement with the proposed hypothesis.  The findings of the study have revealed the fact that there is a need for the companies to focus on the investment areas and deal with the global SC configuration adopted by them. Along with the findings has broached that there is a variation of results from one group to another. Locals can achieve higher performance improvements through supplier development (i.e. quality and flexibility) and distribution strategy (i.e. lead-time, quality, and delivery). The study will b helpful for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners in understanding the issues related to supply chain improvement planning, global configuration of supply chain and supply chain performance.

Abstract

The main reason behind carrying out the current study is to examine the mediating role supply chain identity salience in the relationship between its antecedents and supply chain social capital. In this study a new paradigm is presented by supply chain management (SCM) where a systems approach is adopted by firms to manage the supply chain not as a set of fragments but as s single entity, having a sole purpose of synchronizing and adjusting the supply chain activities of partnering firms to develop greater customer value as compared to other supply chain. It is proposed in this study that successful functioning of managed supply chain only takes place when supply chain partners that are involved in crucial relationships actively share a feeling of identity or belonging with the supply chain. Such strong sense of identity plays an essential role in a context of the managed supply chain, as the supply chain management majorly depends upon the cooperation of resultant voluntary independent organizations and social processes and not on the financial or legal ownership. The study has used the SEM-PLS to achieve the objectives of the current study. The study is carried out on the sample of manufacturing firms operating in Thailand. This study presents a detailed view of social processes with respect to SCM context, with the purpose of indicating the contributory role played by supply chain identity salience in the social capital formation.

Abstract

In the scientific work has been modified the impact of the exploitation of natural resources (non-renewable oil and gas reserves) on balanced economic development and been researched Karl Marx's production scheme. Marx's simple and extensive reproduction scheme based on supply chain management, rather I-capital sector was divided into 3 parts for physical, natural and human capitals, and at first, theoretically modified and analyzed added value from the exploitation of natural capital (oil and gas reserves). The literature review, results, and statistical figures of carried out necessary research have been substantiated. The result of analysis proved that the added value generated from the exploitation of oil and gas resources mainly in the consumer sector has created additional demand and as a result, have emerged the interdisciplinary demand and supply sequences. In the scientific work carried out analysis of the results obtained from the model of realization and are given specific directions and calculations of creating balanced development of revenues received from exploitation oil and gas resources.

Abstract

The term halal is well known in Malaysia, especially in Muslim society. However, the practice of halal concept among Muslim food operators is questionable and doubtful.  The cleanliness aspect of hygiene is one of the main aspects that contributed to the concept of halal in Islam, besides the aspect of pure, safety and quality. There are many issues and cases reported in the media regarding the cleanliness of the food premises in Malaysia. Many cases of food poisoning originated from poor food preparation and improper cleaning by the food premise operators themselves. These practices could lead to serious contamination and food poisoning to customers. Thus, this study is conducted to examine the practice of halal concept in the aspect of hygiene among food premises. The study is qualitative based research by adopting a phenomenology approach. Data was collected through an in-depth interview with six food premise operators in Perlis.  Data are analyzed using the inductive analysis approach by using Creswell analysis. Results showed that only one of the informants did not apply the hygiene practice very well. Overall, all of the informants have good understanding and awareness in practicing the halal concept at their food premises. Thus, high awareness and commitment about the practice of hygiene in the halal concept are needed especially to food premise operators. The municipal authority and health department should enhance their monitoring enforcement towards the operations of food premises to make sure all food premises apply good hygiene practices in their daily operation.

Abstract

Business-to-Business (B2B) market normally deals with fewer customers; thus it creates a close relationship between customers and sellers. This relationship must be managed in a way so that it can encourage customer willingness to purchase again. As such, switching cost risk will become less as the customers keep buying from the same channel. At the same time, good return management system also plays an important role for stimulating re-purchase intent in addition to other factors such as customer satisfaction and customer value. This study aimed to analyse the effect of switching cost and product return management on re-purchase intent with customer satisfaction and customer value playing as moderating variables. Company A, a wholesaler that operates in the construction building material business in East Java was selected as the case study object for examining the relationships among the measured concepts. The survey was completed in three cities in which 200 retail stores of Company Aâ??s customers are located The result showed that switching cost and product return management both had a significant effect on retailersâ?? re-purchase intent. Meanwhile, customer value as a moderating variable did not have a significant effect on how switching cost and product return management affecting re-purchase intent. In addition, customer satisfaction had a significant effect on how switching cost influencing re-purchase intent.
