In general, the activity of cocoa beans production has not been efficient yet to compete as raw materials for domestic and foreign industries. In order for cocoa commodities in West Sulawesi province can compete and increase the income of cocoa farmers, so it is necessary to increase the role of main stakeholders and to support the cocoa supply chain especially those support the improvement of cocoa beans productivity. The objective of study is to analyse the position and role of stakeholder in the cocoa bean supply chain. The method used to identify the stakeholders position / structure is Interpretative Structural Modelling (ISM) method, and the role of stakeholders by survey method is to identify the cocoa bean supply chain that becomes the object of research. The results of the study indicate that famers are the most important stakeholders who need to get the attention of other stakeholders in the sustainability of the cocoa supply chain. Marketing institutions (collectors, wholesalers, processing industries, exporters), government / agricultural extension workers, still have few roles in the supply chain of cocoa commodities. Abstract

A research survey has been widely known by many scholars and is very important in data collection; however, it has a real disadvantage of its lower response rate. This is possibly due to incomplete comprehension on how this survey can be made to work effectively especially in supply chain industries that deal with confidentiality and various parties interest. Therefore, this study aims to provide comprehensive strategies that should be conducted to improve response rates. Meeting this aim, this study reviewed studies focusing on strategies to prepare a suggested survey to increase its response rate. Based on an extensive research in literature and local field, the authors found articles considered appropriate to be included in this synthesis. Two strategies were found to improve response rate using a effective survey: designing questionnaire and practical strategies. Designing questionnaire strategy has prominent factors in the beginning steps before sending a questionnaire. The latter is a critical step to get respondents feel that they like to fill a questionnaire. This study contributes to academic literature about how to improve response rate using comprehensive strategies where the previous studies have explained those findings partly.

Abstract

Abstract- Foreign economic activity and export operations in particular have a number of peculiarities, which significantly complicate the procedure for the accounting and distinguish them from the other business operations based on the supply chain. The existing legislative base for accounting and taxation does not provide unique regulations on the specifics of foreign trade contracts, pushing this responsibility down on economic entities. As a result, business processes of foreign economic activity may be reflected incorrectly in the accounting and analytical system. These reasons contribute to the complication of the procedures of audit evidence collection, the process of planning and documenting of the internal audit of foreign economic activity. The purpose of the study is to develop a methodology for internal audit planning and a concept of its strategy for export operations. As a result, the quality and reliability of the accounting [financial) statements should be improved. The results of monographic and regulatory analysis allowed us to determine the aspects of accounting that are at risk of data contamination. Using the methods of expert evaluation, information synthesis and supply chain strategy, the most optimal focus areas of audit program planning were determined. The present research introduces the author’s algorithm for internal audit planning, as well as the set of working documents to be implemented at this stage, i.e., internal control tests and audit plan. The audit plan, developed by the authors, includes the main directions of the internal audit of the export operations and contributes to a complex evaluation of the accounting accuracy. In addition, it optimizes significantly the verification process in terms of the labor costs and time expenditure. The author’s recommendations on planning and documenting can be applied for further development of theoretical and practical issues of the internal audit of foreign economic activity.

Abstract

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a research area that has received a lot of attention from many researchers in different disciplines. The multidisciplinary origin of SCM has led to a variety of definitions and approaches. Despite the vast body of academic literature on the subject, there are few examples of successful SCM implementations. Indeed, the implementation of SCM requires the deployment of a set of practices that the company should establish to ensure its success. The implementation of SCM practices can impact the various components of the company's performance. The aim of this paper is to review the different definitions and approaches of the SCM, present the practices that allow companies to better manage their supply chain. Also analyze the various performance measures and the impact of SCM practices on the overall performance.
