Abstract

Food horticultural commodities are perishable products. Quality decreases rapidly after harvest. Therefore, timely handling and distribution of products must be considered to achieve customer satisfaction. This paper proposes spatial logistics for constructing traceability system framework as a new approach to smart logistics system in food horticulture industrial products. The objective of this article is to analyze existing methods for logistics systems in food horticulture and develop new frameworks for smart logistics systems. The author reviews and synthesizes 115 scientific articles published between 2004 and 2019. Articles reviewed are categorized into sensor Radio Frequency (RF), GPS systems for location and navigation, Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile applications. Most of the previous authors have applied the agricultural product approach. The dominant topic that we found in the literature is IoT, and tracking systems with RFID and remote sensing. Most of the literature focuses on agricultural logistics and there is a lack of discussion about food horticulture industrial product. The contribution of this paper was mapping methods in spatial logistics and logistical traceability and develops new frameworks. For the future agenda, we point to the development of systematic smart logistics that applies intelligent spatial logistic DSS to maintain the logistics system.

Abstract

In a dynamic environment developed by information technology and the accompanying communications devices and modern movements made the world a small village characterized by sharp economic and political fluctuations and financial coincided with the beginning of the twentieth century. It made the investment environment represented by financial resources and their supply chain management play a prominent role in influencing the financial policy of business organizations whether productive or service. It required decision makers to work hard to obtain returns and the lowest possible costs as they pose a clear threat to investment activity because of their impact on the rise or fall in those revenues which he hopes to obtain because of these fluctuations. In the business we must recognize these fluctuations in order to face them in general and work to find methods to be used to ensure the achievement of what aspires to access, and perhaps linear programming using the software ready Q.S.B and TORA.In the current competitive era, the goal of creating a supply chain is to increase the operational effectiveness, profitability, and ability of the organization to compete with supply chain partners, also companies need to focus on their capabilities and resources in order to gain competitive advantage and improve their market position. In fact, the competitiveness of manufacturing companies relies on the development of their competencies. Meanwhile, supply chain management is considered as a powerful tool for promoting corporate growth and creating competitive advantage. Supply chain management operations play a critical role in management decisions, as far as they can have significant effects on corporate profitability and operational success. This study was designed to shed light on how to transform the transfer problem into linear programming that can be obtained for each variable of the decision maker in the supply chain management. The analysis of these returns using manual solutions and ready-made software referred to above in light of the data obtained for the sample of the study of the civil aviation authority and the air cargo, sea and land at the level of Iraqduring the month of April 2018. The study concluded a number of conclusions, the most important is that the best for the airline to rely on ready-made software if it wants to be rational decisions instead of relying on manual solutions. The study came out with a number of recommendations, perhaps the most important of which is the need to establish a special computer lab to process the data and extract the results by the airport administration and the employees of the Iraqi Airways Company which is the advantage that the decision maker can not succeed without.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the main issues on healthcare supply chain management literature, to analyze a real healthcare unit supply chain. The results are a framework compiling literature review, that allowed designing the medicines and materials supply chain of a network of hospitals in Brazil. The method consisted in conducting the literature review, describing the actual model of the healthcare units, using process management approach, such as value-added chain representation, and designing the new supply chain, adopting Lean Healthcare tools, such as A3 to guide the analysis and problems solution. The study demonstrates that the literature lacks healthcare supply chain management, since most articles have a pharmaceutical or care bias. Thus, this article contributes with an applied experience, which benefits both literature and organizational practice.

Abstract

Abstract-In a country with a majority Muslim population, increase in economy, purchasing power and consumption such as Indonesia, halal food is a principal requirement. This has led to the springing of certified and uncertified halal food stalls in their supply chain. Therefore, this study aims to observe the supply chains used in naming halal food stalls and restaurants and how its distribution chain is applied to its certification in Indonesia through the official government agencies. The research data consists of 503 names of food stalls and restaurants in five districts of Malang City, namely, Klojen, Lowokwaru, Blimbing, Sukun, and Kedungkandang.  Furthermore, photography techniques and several applications such as MUI Halal, Halal Tracking, and Kuliner Malang are used to provide information and validation of halal certificates. Data was analyzed using Linguistic Landscape design on the frequency of language use, its monolingual and bilingual forms, as well as the information and symbolic functions. The results showed that monolingual and bilingual Indonesian languages, English, and Javanese were dominantly used compared to Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, and Dutch. Therefore, the perceptions of nationalism, internationalism, Javanism, and Islamism are instilled, though the official halal certificates still show a slight number.

Abstract

The paper discusses the concept and problem of identifying DDoS attacks for information management. The main starting mechanisms and types of DDoS attacks are analyzed. To identify them, signature and behavioral methods of analyzing network traffic are used. Analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of these methods actualized the need for their combined use. To detect and classify DDoS attacks, the need to develop and use a neural network model has been updated. The training and testing of the model were made on the initial data from the NSL-KDD set. All lines in this set are represented as sequences of TCP packets, UDP packets, and ICMP packets of network traffic transmitted from the source of the attack to the attacked network node. The total sample size was 8067 lines. Of these, half of the data corresponded to DDoS attacks, and the rest of the data characterized clear connections. The Deductor modelling environment was used to build the neural network model. The constructed neural network model was a single-layer perceptron with 11 input neurons, 23 hidden neurons and 1 output neuron. The accuracy of the constructed model was calculated based on contingency tables. The accuracy of the initial data classification at the training stage was 97.94%. The classification accuracy at the testing stage was 97.87%. To assess the quality of the neural network model, the errors of the first (0.93%) and second (3.3%) type are calculated. Testing the model showed good results since almost all DDoS attacks were successfully classified. Thus, the neural network model for detecting DDoS attacks has successfully solved the task of identifying and classifying malicious network connections.

Abstract

Decision making is one of the key tasks in managerial outcomes whereby the effect of any decision matters a lot on the strategic dimensions of the organization. In recent years, due to increased environmental concerns, government regulations and natural resource constraints, and the impact of green laws, the supply chain has been attracting increasing attention. Given that the supplier plays an important role in the supply chain, if it is faced with the risk and disruption of the harmful and important impacts on the supply chain, it is necessary to study and study these conditions. Hence, in this paper, the problem of designing a closed loop supply chain network in terms of supply risk is discussed. In any decision, there are multiple perspectives or variables while are closely associated and these variables decide the overall impact on the scenario. For managerial decision making, there are assorted approaches which are used widely including sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis and many others. This research manuscript is focusing on the aspects of what-if analysis and associated decision making models under uncertainty. The manuscript covers the hidden patterns and perspectives which are mandatory to be associated and included in the process of decision making.

Abstract

Convergence as the core theory of growth in 1990, based on the hypothesis put forward by Barro and Sala-i-Martin (1995) using the neoclassical growth model. One important aspect of this model has been studied and analyzed seriously as an empirical hypothesis of convergence with the assumption that the preferences and apply the same technology. The estimation results above show the value of (1 + β) of 0.7660. Based on these values, the value of β is known of -0.234. Β value (0.2340) is between zero and -1 indicates that there is a process of convergence of economic growth among the districts / cities in North Sumatra, East Coast Region at the speed of convergence of 23.40%. AndConditional convergence models have a higher speed than the absolute convergence models. This indicates that the independent variable (GRDP/capita, working population, number of poor and length of studyhas a great influence in increasing the speed of convergence of economic growth in the East Coast region of North Sumatra.
