Abstract

Abstract- Scientific development of family farms problem, in addition to academic interest, is of great practical importance for the global economy as a whole (more than 90% of households in the agricultural sector in the world are family-run, family farms account for up to 80% of agricultural land farms produce about 80% of the world food) and the Russian agrarian sector in particular. In the current academic discourse and the world practice in agricultural sector, food supply of the population, a vertically integrated organization that has been hampering the optimization of the value of agricultural goods based on the choice of an adequate supply chain management strategy is increasingly criticized. The authors considered theoretical approaches to family farming as a special form of social-and-economic organization, which is the most reliable mechanism for mass recruitment of rural population into the economy and optimization of material and information flows, cooperative ties of value creating participants in order to satisfy consumers in comparison with large agricultural holdings. The US experience indicates the possibility of harmonious combination of developed industry and commodity family farms in economic complexes. Due to their small scale, family farms, being more adaptive to market conditions and, therefore, more sustainable, combine in themselves strategies of commodity production and personal consumption, and also reproduce traditional moral norms. In this regard, the organization of agriculture in the form of family farms is the most adequate form of food supply for the population. Family commodity farms, among other things, are the best form in terms of supply chain management, as they shorten the distance between production and consumption as much as possible.

Abstract

The research investigates the demand on education in the field of logistics management among the high school and vocational students at North Eastern of Thailand. The research explores the needs for labor market in logistics between the private enterprises and government agencies. The surveys were conducted among 830 respondents which include students, entrepreneurs, public and private enterprises through in-depth interviews and brainstorming sessions. The result indicates that the needs for further education among students, mostly female, aged between 19-21 years old. A total of 72.30 %   required the logistics disciplines in future businesses (4.31, SD = 0.962). The nature of the curriculum should be focusing on logistics theory (4.35, SD = 0.962). The equation of multiple regressions showed that the logistics education met the labor market (Dem), income level of the parents (inc), distance from home to schools (Dis) and the labor demand in Logistics dropped even at the Northeast. The entrepreneurs and the private sectors indicated to 70 %, 18 %, state agencies, enterprises and other organizations in 12 % which agreed on education for better development in logistics market. Personnel in logistics is critical for the future (4.31, SD = 0.692), demand for logistics in trades border (4.12, SD = 0.798), transportation movement at the Northeast links with neighbouring countries (4.12, SD = 0.798) and personnel logistics with a good command of English (4.01, SD = 0.561). The exhibit shows slightly reduction on logistics trend at the Northeast due to knowledge and education. Logistics shall be the important factors due to growing of business volumes, enhance on its competitiveness and focusing on costs reduction. The government policy was very encouraging towards logistics businesses. The demand for logistics personnel are increasing and this will contribute to the economic growth at the North East. Suggestion for future development is to have a real learning on the logistics theory through government and private partnership. This will enable the best of logistics education towards improvement and quality labor for better economic in Thailand.

Abstract

The development of leasing relations is based on the adequate methodological basis for assessing the effectiveness of the leasing process. The purpose of our research is to describe the methodology for assessing and managing the leasing process taking into account the interests of the lessee and the factors of the external and internal environment. In our research leasing process is represented as an element of supply chain management. The main methods that we used in our research were the method of modeling cash flows of the enterprise - recipient and the method of discounting the cash flows generated with the participation of an industrial enterprise in the leasing process, the methodology for modeling the supply chain of an industrial enterprise. The proposed methodology is a universal tool for assessing and managing the leasing process, which includes the strengths of advanced methods for assessing the effectiveness of a leasing scheme for financing productive investments accumulated in scientific works of experts in the field of leasing and logistics. The proposed structure of strategic features based on a set of methods for assessing leasing activities, leasing potential and leasing climate allows an industrial enterprise to develop management strategies for the leasing process based on the performance. The methodology of assessment and management has practical value for a wide range of organizations that are considering the possibility of technological re-equipment of industrial production in the context of platform business networks, as well as the improvement of supply chain management.

Abstract

Thailand is witnessing a significant growth in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) especially in manufacturing sector. Yet, their survival is totally based on their performance that can only be ensured through good supply chain practices. Supply chain finance and negotiation are some relevant practices that can have their say in improved SMEs performance but trade digitization is another important factor to be considered prior to conclude results. This study has analyzed the role of supply chain finance and negotiation in improving SMEs performance in moderating role of trade digitization. Around 35 SMEs of Thailand’s manufacturing sector and their employees dealing in production department were surveyed through questionnaire and data was then analyzed through structural equation modeling. Results have indicated that both supply chain negotiation and supply chain finance have significant impact on SMEs performance while trade digitalization significantly moderate both the relationships. Study has originality due to moderating role of trade digitization between supply chain negotiation and SMEs performance. This research has its implications for SMEs operating in Thailand in any sector along with policy framework for government too.
