The objectives of this study were to examine the logistics management potential to support tourists in the Khao Soon area and to suggest ways of tourism potential development in the Khao Soon area, Chawang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province in accordance with tourists’ needs. The instruments used in this research were 330 sets of questionnaires accidentally given to tourists and an interview with five interviewees from government agencies, private organizations, and entrepreneurs by using purposive sampling. The data were expressed as percentage, means, standard deviations, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance (F-test). The findings showed that tourists placed importance on cooperation in the community and attraction in tourist destinations including the availability of services for personnel and places that are ready to support tourists. In view of tourists, things needed for improvement are the physical flow like readiness in route conditions to reach tourist attractions, the information flow including information service and maps showing tourist spots for tourists to access information, and the financial flow such as offering more multi-payment services to facilitate tourists by paying via QR Code or Prompt Pay. From the perspective of public/private agencies and entrepreneurs, the emphasis was on the physical flow with the development of routes to access tourist sites for more convenience in order to promote tourism and the information flow like promoting the public relations of tourist information to become more well-known via social media such as websites or Facebook. Entrepreneurs also wanted tourist spots to be publicized for recognition and required the development of service to meet the needs of tourists and sustainability in tourism. The findings showed that different demographic characteristics revealed significant and non-significant differences toward the potential of logistics management to support tourists at the 0.05 level.

Abstract. Basically, among the various stages that are considered when designing a building for earthquake resistance, the decision stage about building configuration is of fundamental importance. One of the important factors that has a significant impact on the seismic performance of the building is its regularity or irregularity in plan and height. Most of those with irregular configurations are more damaged by earthquakes. Therefore, it is important to set criteria for detecting irregularities in structures. In this study, in order to investigate the error rate of seismic analysis methods (static equivalent, spectral and time history) in intermediate structures with irregularity of hardness, 4 5-story steel samples with dual flexural frame system and bracing with different states of irregularity in height in soft SAP software has been modeled. The results showed that the equivalent static analysis method always provides conservative and somewhat uneconomical values compared to other methods, so it can be said that for static buildings, equivalent static analysis is reliable. Any analysis of time history better than spectral analysis better represents the behavior of the structure during an earthquake.

Abstract. This paper aims to identify the factors influencing knowledge sharing in the supply chain and the related theories. A quali-quantitative mixed method has been adopted in our exploratory study. Firstly, a Delphi method has been applied to design the conceptual model. After this, the resulting model has been examined and empirically applied to explore the selected case study, by a quantitative approach. The main instrument of the study is a re-searcher-made questionnaire that its validity was achieved through Content. Also, Cronbach's alpha test has been used to assess reliability of the questionnaire, which according to the alpha obtained at 93 %, it could be concluded that the questionnaire's reliability is acceptable. Based on the results, an appropriate model for knowledge sharing in supply chain has been developed on the basis of 15 factors and the related theories. The research’s results (arising by the testing and validation of the model) showed that the heterogeneity of knowledge management systems (KMSs) of organizations involved in Khorasan Electricity Supply Chain, Iran is above average level. Trust among enterprises in supply chain and the clear economic benefits are at average level. This paper will contribute to improve understanding on the factors influencing KS among organizations involved in supply chain, providing for a conceptual model useful for future investigations. Supply chain management (SCM) practices have become valuable resources and capabilities in formulating strategies aimed at enhancing organizational performance (ORGPER). However, it is not clear how SCM Practices influence organizational performance in the agribusiness context. Therefore, this study sought to examine the mediation effects of competitive advantage in the relationship between SCMPs and ORGPER from the dairy supply chain perspective in Kenya. The study postulated four hypotheses that were tested using Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) techniques to address the study objectives. A cross-sectional survey design was utilized to gather primary data from 109 dairy cooperatives in the thirteen major milk-producing counties in Kenya. The result revealed that SCM practices have a positive and significant influence on CA (?=0.730), and ORGPER (?=0.237). Additionally, CA has a positive, statistically significant influence on ORGPER (?=0.522). Further results show that competitive advantage mediates the relationship between SCMPs and organizational performance. Consequently, high employment of SCM practices will result in high levels of competitive advantage and enhance organizational performance. The results provide insights on the resource-based view theory as well as a conceptual framework for its validation. Similarly, the study informs managers and policymakers in knowing specific SCM practices responsible for enhancing competitive advantage and improving performance in the dairy industry. Keywords: Competitive advantage, Organizational performance, Supply chain management, and PLS-SEM

A high performing procurement and supply chain function is vital to the success of running a safe, productive and efficient educational organisation, and can make a significant contribution to both financial and operational performance Higher education institutions in Indonesia have experienced significant changes since the introduction of the semi-autonomous agency model. In the context of procurement, these agencies adopt both Government Procurement Procedure issued by the central government for all government institutions and Special Procurement Procedure prepared by the agency. Consequently, the agencies have to implement two different procurement procedures in accordance with each procedure. This study deeply looks at the implementation of the dual procurement procedures at a micro level in the context of gentrification. This research focuses on examining the use of dual procurement procedures in supporting through an exploration of the experiences of higher education in Indonesia. A central feature of procurement in the Indonesian higher education is unnecessary dual procedures. Higher education institutions have experienced many constraints in developing and implementing dual procurement procedures. The internal factors include risk, human resources, quality, and organizational structure, while external factors consist of the audit, political pressure, and regulation.

Abstract— The core of the Special Economic Zone is an effort to increase investment by developing certain regions/zones to spur economic growth. Through examples from the Middle East and South Asia I explain how the objectives of excellence in business performance and quality management have been attained without substantive investment by following the basic principles and concepts of Supply Chain Management and Quality Management. The effort to realize Special Economic Zones as an effort to increase investment in Indonesia is a choice now. Although these efforts may not be separated from the constraints faced with regard to services, facilities, and infrastructure as well as possible obstacles related to the response of investors in the framework of the realization of the Special Economic Zones. However, such efforts will accumulate capital with rapid growth or achieve social progress. This is in line with the tendency of the global economy to continue, which in turn makes economic activity between countries increase and also increasing foster regional economic activity.

Abstract- Supply chain is crucial in the current highly competitive and fast-changing business environment, in which the optimisation of all resources matters, creating an ef?cient. Capital structure based on the supply chain strategy is one of the important decisions for financial managers who are able to describe the overall cost of capital and have an impact on increasing the profitability of the company. The aim of this research was (1) to analyze the influence of internal factors including company size and tangibility on capital structure and profitability and (2) to analyze the influence of internal advertising factors on profitability. This study’s samples were 117 manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange for period 2010-2016. The data were analyzed by using path analysis with SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the research stated that firm size had a significant effect on capital structure and profitability, tangibility did not have a significant effect on capital structure but had a significant effect on profitability. Meanwhile, advertising did not have a significant effect on profitability. Furthermore, there is a positive influence between capital structure and profitability. This result is in accordance with signalling theory which states that the addition of corporate debt supported by the achievement of high corporate profits will be a positive signal for investors.
