Abstract

Abstract—The main objective is development of hybrid systems for adaptive designing and supply chain management / strategizing of team decision “packages” for design work based on the use of soft computing technologies and system-creative thinking (SCT). An algorithm is proposed, and the results of case studies on predicting the effectiveness and optimal organization of team thinking, as well as designing team solutions using the technical package of social technologies are presented. They are exemplified by developing a system of products and marketing channels (points of contact) of an employer brand (EB) of an organization for individual stakeholder groups. An algorithm has been developed for using a system of hybrid “soft computing” technologies and system-creative thinking in supply chain process of project teamwork; practical calculations have been carried out using this algorithm. The algorithm and systems of models for using “soft computing” for supply chain developed allow us to obtain a synergistic effect from controlling a system of hybrid technologies at various stages of teamwork. The package includes a “basic” technology comprising “training teams”, and also the formation of a KPI system that characterize team work (units 1 and 2), “product” technologies comprising analysis of team organization thinking, forecasting team performance, team productivity management, as well as supply chain management of project (units 4, 5, 6), and also “closing” technology being a strategizing (adaptive management) of team work (dynamic control of the algorithm as a whole).

Abstract

Sustainable Development Goals aims to reduce inequality, however, this problem still occurs in Bali Province. Data from its Industry showed a gap in SME performance between cities, with the lowest performance of MSE in Karangasem Regency. The objective of this research was to analyze: the effect of Village Own Enterprise (VOE) resources and social capital to entrepreneurship and performance of craftsmen. Data used were quantitative and qualitative collected through observation, and in-depth interviews, with the SEM-PLS program used for its analyzes. The results show that the effect of VOE resource is positive but insignificant to entrepreneurship of craftsmen, while social capital is positive and significant. Furthermore entrepreneurship does not mediate the effect of VOE resources on performance, while entrepreneurship mediates the effect of social capital. The suggestion of this research were to VOE management in order to more introduce the existence of VOE, subsequent researchers need to add external variable that possible influence the performance of craftsmen for example government policy.

Abstract

This paper presents the impact of applying the supply chain strategies on the financial sector to optimize productivity and decreasing cost which will have a direct impact on the net income of the organization. The global economic situation in the last decade has left stakeholders in Nigerian financial sector struggling to meet up with profits/returns expected from them by their investors. The Nigerian financial sector has put in place a lot of mechanism to achieve their goals and one of such is reduction of employees running cost without taking into consideration the outcome of such decision at the long run. So this study proposes the effects of supply chain on the overall staff productivity in the financial sector, precisely the deposit money banks in Nigeria. The study set to test two hypotheses by means of SPSS and Spearman’s Rank Order Correlation coefficient for processing and analyzing of data collected using responses from 244 questionnaires distributed across the selected financial institutions in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria and within acceptable Cronbach Alpha value of 0.7, results were interpreted and presented. The result of the analysis showed that there is a strong significant relationship between supply chain and staff productivity. The study found that there exist a great gap between the remunerations of casual and permanent employees thus leading to job dissatisfaction and lower productivity. The study recommends that government and management should develop supports toward employees input that will promote personal well-being and proletariat productivity while protecting them from exploitation by their employers in the financial institutions.

Abstract

Due to the increased competition in the business environment and the constant changes in consumer demands and needs, companies should be characterized by adaptability, flexibility, as well as strategic and operational alignment between the different links in their supply chain. However, knowledge is inadequate about the way in which lean supply chain management should be implemented. Such knowledge is more limited even in some developed countries. The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between the implementation of lean supply chain management and business competitiveness. To achieve this, a survey was distributed to businesses of the Greek economy that currently goes under major changes. One important finding was that lean supply chain management leads to a strong competitive advantage, especially through cost and waste reduction. Further, it was found that lean supply chain management results in meeting customer requirements, increased profitability, reduction of inventory levels, the introduction of just-in-time systems and increased sustainability. However, organizational structure, employees’ resistance to change, organization’s rules, procedures and policies, as well as lack of robust and professional relationships with suppliers, are obstacles to be overcome when implementing lean supply chain management systems.

Abstract

The global crisis in 2008 has a tremendous impact on Indonesian economic stability. It ultimately led to increases in asset prices including property. It drives investors to invest in property companies namely stock. Thus, this study aims to examine the effect of Economic Value Added, Return on Equity, and Earnings per Share toward Stock Price. Also, the role of Price Earnings Ratio as a Moderating Variable in the relationship among variables studied. The secondary data obtained from annual reports, financial statements. The data source is the property sector companies issued on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. There are 30 companies involved in this study. The data analyzed by using the multiple linear regression analysis and moderating test applied the residual method. The results of this study indicate that partially Economic Value Added has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, Return on Equity has a negative and significant effect on stock prices, and Earning per Share has a positive and significant effect on stock prices. Variable Price Earnings Ratio does not moderate the relationship of Economic Value Added, Return on Equity and Earnings per Share to stock prices both partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

This study presents the unwanted conditions determination. The economic resilience model without taking into account the level of disruption and unwanted conditions is unrealistic model. The Objective is to determine unwanted conditions as a key criterion in determining the economic resilience status of a city. This study used data on Concern variables group and Control variables groups from website of Central Bureau of Statistics Indonesia. These data covered all 514 cities in Indonesia and are observed for a 5-year period from 2014 to 2018. The data is useful to develop a statistical model that can explain well the pattern of relationships between concern variables and control variables. Piecewise linear regression is applied to identify statistics model between Pc and Z, Lower Control Limit (LCL) for variable Z using Individual control Chart is applied to determine the unwanted conditions.  We obtained that the control variable, Z is the ratio between the original income of the region (PAD) with the number of poor people in a city and the concern variable is income per capita, Pc of a city. Piecewise linear regression with breakpoint 126,255,066 can explain well the pattern of relationships between Z and Pc variables. The equation is: Pc = 26,660,263+0.28Z, R-square = 70.48%. LCL value is.1.884.059.5 so all cities that have a Z value below 1.884.059.5 fall into the unwanted condition area and after careful examination is obtained percentage of cities classified as do not have economic resilience , PER =28%. Cities that fall into unwanted conditions are defined as cities that cannot bear receiving economic shocks.
