Abstract

The logistics and supply chain is an emerging business in the world. As the "network" business process, the supply chain business depends on the critical success factor that is human resources. This research is conducted using the Rasch Model Approach to examine the supply chain employees in the telecommunication industry in Indonesia. The supply chain business performance indicates the overall success of the supply chain employees. One of the employee performances is OCB since OCB has interpersonal impacts. The research results show that supply chain employees with transformational supply chain leaders have higher measure values in organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Using the Rasch Model Approach, it is proven transformational supply chain leaders can be a leadership strategy in creating supply chain business performance.

Abstract

Covid19 Pandemic has made many countries like Indonesia spent their budget heavily on health and economy recoveries, meaning that some allocated budget including for infrastructure has been cut. In contrast, number of backlogs which determine numbers of people that need shelters are still remain high especially for low income groups (LIG). To tackle the problem, government has an initiative to engage private sectors through public private partnership (PPP) in public housing. The process is quite complex and has taken so many stakeholders like government, private sectors, consultants, contractors, vendors, subcontractors and financial institutions like banks and insurance companies. The complexities in PPP business models which involving so many stakeholders can create potential risks. Therefore, besides calculating investment return in the feasibility study stage, it is also important to make a risk management analysis based on supply chain business process. The supply chain business process must start from mapping business process, i.e. planning stage, contract award stage, implementation and the phase of hand over the facilities once the concessional period would end, transfer the ownership back from private sectors to government. This study has an objective to conduct literature study about risk management analysis by using ISO 31000: 2018, the relative new concept in risk management that replaces the same standard but from year of 2009. The model then will be combined with supply chain business process so risk management can be mitigated in each business process. The model of the study use supply chain business process in establishing the context in risk analysis followed by risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation with the integrated process of communication and consultation, recording and reporting as well as reviewing and monitoring. Study has found that there are critical risks that must be mitigated namely design risk, land price risk, legal land status risk, political risk, contractual risk, market risk, business risk, material price risk, operational risk, legal risk in hand over and asset impairment risk. The model has proposed several new techniques to mitigate risk namely using value at risk (VaR) by monte carlo simulation to measure market risk, business risk and operational risk, developing digitalization for the process in communication communication, recording reporting as well reviewing monitoring. It is also recommended the using of supply chain financing to vendors and subcontractors as Banks have the accessed data from digitalization that consider government and private sectors’ guarantees.

Abstract

Consumer behavior had been affected by the evolution of digital technologies and the internet. Online shopping is becoming more popular, with e-commerce market growth that encourages the involvement of retailers. However, consumers' satisfaction is still the same as they request for a seamless and frictionless shopping experience, an 'Omni-channel supply chain.' Retailers need to understand the new phenomenon and how the concept is influencing customer purchasing behavior, especially online shopping. Several types of research had highlighted the importance of logistics service quality in predicting online purchasing behavior. Thus, this study investigates the relationship between the Omni-channel supply chain and logistics service quality in influencing online purchasing behavior. A survey-based approach is used to collect data from consumers about their perceptions. Overall, the study had enhanced the understanding of the relationship between the Omni-channel supply chain and logistics service quality with online purchasing behavior. Besides, the knowledge of online purchasing behavior in the Omni-channel context has enabled a retailer to allocate resources in designing new strategies.

Abstract

Previous studies indicated that the autonomous maintenance barrier factors are affected the maintenance efficiency. However, most of these studies were conducted in the service industry but not in the manufacturing industry. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify the most critical barrier factors towards maintenance efficiency and also to identify the relationship between autonomous maintenance barrier factors and maintenance efficiency in manufacturing industries. Five research hypotheses were examined while considering the autonomous maintenance barrier factors which including lack of top management commitment, lack of training, lack of maintenance knowledge, resistance by employees, and lack of tools and instrument. The findings of this study revealed that lack of tools and instrument is the most critical barrier factor. This quantitative case study is crucial to the manufacturing industry in Malaysia because it provides a broad insight into the correlation between the autonomous maintenance barrier factor and maintenance efficiency.

Abstract

Abstract— With the rapid industrial cluster development, in particular the development of high-tech cluster, the supply chain management strategy in cluster is also undergoing profound changes. The study uses open-source statistical data, as well as research results and world rankings as the basis for a descriptive analysis of the external environment for the development of high-tech industries. Two main indicators were selected for the analysis: the GDP per capita growth rate and the level of information and communication development, which are used to assess competitiveness, the level of economic development, innovation and entrepreneurship. The purpose of the study is to examine the features of the innovation policy of developed countries and its impact on supply chain management in high tech industries for clustering them. As a result, it was concluded that the modern macroeconomic environment is characterized by digital transformation trends, as well as decreased geographical influences. Industrial supply chain managements are developed based on the interaction of environmental factors, demand conditions, production factors, and auxiliary industries.

Abstract

Abstract- This study aims to analyze legal certainty related to supply chain management on corporations that transfer pricing in transactions with related parties abroad and analyze corporate accountability for the practice of transfer pricing in the field of supply chain management in Indonesia. Transfer pricing carried out by multinational companies is an international world problem related to management strategy by diverting taxes to countries that have lower tax rates or countries that have a 0% tax rate. The research method used in this study by using a normative legal approach. The data used in this study uses primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. Primary legal documents are legal materials consisting of laws and regulations related to supply chain management in Indonesia and the OECD Guidelines. Meanwhile, secondary legal entities are materials that explain primary legal materials (legal science books, legal journals, print, and electronic media due to reports). Also, this study interviewed two informants who were experts in the field of international supply chain management and transfer pricing. This study concludes that the legislation in Indonesia is clear in regulating the implementation of transfer pricing carried out by multinational companies that have an impact on taxes collected by the Government of Indonesia. Supply chains are central to understanding wealth creation and capture in an increasingly globalized production system. The increasing disaggregation and dispersal of supply chains is profoundly affecting the geographical distribution of value added, input costs and profits of multinational firms.
