Abstract

Abstract— Stock Investment Decision involves both parties, i.e., individuals and organizations. The decision to buy or sell shares determined by attitude, subjective norms, and perceived control. However, three main factors are used to predict stock investment appropriately. In other ways, the value-added in-stock service is essential to investors. It aims to ensure the investors ease to use for gaining certainty and increase their trust in shares investment. Also, internet stock trading because it has a positive relationship with the behavioral intentions of stock investors. Also, the intention to behave requires communication interventions, including providing smart equipment, software that can do the calculation, and the availability of large data. We focus only on profit (price) with religion. This study suggests that government support through policies implemented by the government also needs to pay attention to the length of time of observation, both past, and future so that actual measurements can be made accurately. Keywords— Supply Chain Strategy, Stock Investment, Theory Reasoned Action, Planned Theory of Behavior, Investment Decision making.

Abstract

Abstract— This research explores how the breeders, brokers, wholesalers, and retailers, along the supply chain of beef market; contribute to the beef price volatility. This study conceptualizes the policy of beef price stabilization that affected by beef production level, market structure, and government intervention. Using phenomenological approach, the findings highlight that price volatility commences from the beef supply response and market structure. A total of 18 in-depth interviews were conducted to gain insight into the complexity of the beef price formation specifically to capture and understand this phenomenon from the breeders ‘point of views, the sellers, and the government. Purposive sampling was adopted to select participants to provide enough depth and riches to the unique experiences of the phenomena in Surakarta district, Indonesia. The experience of Surakarta City in maintaining the stability of beef price has implications both nationally and globally. This price stabilization model can be adopted by other regions and even other countries that still rely on imported beef. Surakarta is not a beef-producing agricultural area. The five research findings are important to serve as a lending model of effort in beef price stabilization. This applies also in maintaining supply availability. In a country, beef imports by the private sector are beneficial to beef buyers, especially at relatively low international period prices and stable. In periods of unstable global markets with high prices, communication and coordination, in larger cases, timely intervention and clear policy messages are needed in avoiding the buildup of private stocks. This is a precaution that can greatly aggravate the rise in domestic prices. This research focus on the beef price stabilization. However, the bargaining position of buyer and supplier has not identified. Future research need to explore how the level of information received by some actors in the supply chain. The government can use this research finding to maintain the price to be stabled and apply the policies through aspects of sustainability. This research contributes to provide the stabilization model of beef price stabilization in the supply chain framework.

Abstract

This paper presents the development of a framework that organizations can use to assess their CPFR maturity. The proposed modeling framework identifies important functional and structural aspects of CPFR processes and formulates a method for evaluation on a variety of characteristics of CPFR. This paper uses a variant of multi-objective decision analysis to structure the framework into a hierarchical model for CPFR maturity assessment. Each area of the model was identified based on standardized, industry-accepted process definitions. Then, easy to answer questions were formulated to develop a multi-attribute assessment and scoring of capabilities. This model provides a structured representation of the CPFR process for maturity assessment and provides a path of progress for improving the state of CPFR within the  underperforming areas. The developed model can be used by engineering managers for assessing an on-going CPFR program across several areas and communicating the identified high impact improvement areas with various segments of the organization.

Abstract

In most emerging markets, small and medium enterprises, (SMEs), lack access to thecredit and liquiditythey require for their dailyworkingcapital needs. Supply chain finance is a broad category of financing with multiple products, and it contributes significantly to global trade finance. This paper utilized several variables, such as changes in liquidity level (quick ratio), changes in debt bias, changes in the cost of goods sold, changes in earnings, and changes in stock returns through the supply chain finance. Employing binary logistic regression, the test results showed that accounts, such as current assets, current debt, long-term debt, net income, cost of goods sold, gross margins, were connected to the agent's opportunistic behavior when the financial health of the company has decreased. In the end, it concluded that SEMs in the management of these accounts was proven by supply chain finance in the preparation of financial statements and good distribution when the financial health of the company has achieved.

Abstract

Indonesia is in the middle of increasing the land acquisition made for the public interest, since the focus of the Indonesian government currently is to develop the infrastructure necessary for the public. The case considered in this paper is the construction in the infrastructure of Jakarta-Bandung Rapid Train. In the execution of supply chain development of the Jakarta-Bandung Rapid Train, the government is using the acquisition of land from the public, of which, agricultural land along the train-route must be handed-over for the sake of the supply chain development. This is interesting to study because there has been a change of function of agricultural land to non-agricultural land, in the Article 44 paragraph (1) of the Law Number 41 of 2009 concerning the Protection of Sustainable agricultural/farming land, it is stated that land that has been designated as sustainable agricultural/farming land is under protection and its acquisition, should not be conversed for other purpose. However, in the paragraph (2), it is stated that with respect to the public interest, the sustainable agricultural/farming land, might have conversion to purpose according to the rules and regulations. This study is using a normative juridical approach and it has analytical descriptive nature. It describes theories about the land acquisition, sustainable agricultural/farming land, and other related theories. The result shows that the supply chain development of the Jakarta-Bandung Rapid Train project executed was apparently not in accordance with the Spatial Zoning Plan (SZP) of the area where the supply chain development is taking place, meanwhile, the Law Number 2 concerning the Land Acquisition for Supply chain development in the Public Interest requires the supply chain development to be in line with the SZP, for that matter, the government is initiating solution on changing the SZP.

Abstract

Despite the optimistic outlook at the economy, the food industry has its share of shortcomings in the forefront of sustainable operations. SMEs have resource constraints such as inefficient data handling capacity, insufficient financial support and transparency issues. However, the major problem that must be addressed is the lack of ‘technical know-how’ about metric for measuring sustainability performance. The approach is based on the study of Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) and Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) to design parameters based on people, planet and profit indicators. In a global perspective, 25 organizations (small, medium and large enterprises) in the food industry are selected and data collection is carried out from sources like ‘Sustainability report’ and ‘Annual report’ of these organisations. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), is used to arrive at the relative efficiency scores and it is taken as input to the SISO (single input single output) type Fuzzy Model to arrive at an index. A case simulation to demonstrate the application, DMU with relative efficiency score of 34% was taken as input which resulted to output on sustainability index of 2 (on a scale of 1-5) indicating poor sustainability of the organisation. A unique work based on parameter design for selecting the performance measure of sustainability and arriving at index is not discussed in the present research. The approach provides a tool to measure the sustainability performance for the organisation.
