Abstract

Abstract— The paper substantiates the need to study issues that discover the features of the influence of region’s supply chain management on its macroeconomic dynamics through the prism of economic and mathematical analysis. This will allow us to form a new vector for constructing models of economic growth and to localize an inclination of applying qualitative methods of analysis in this area of research towards quantitative approaches to the analysed processes and phenomena. In this regard, the main goal of this work is to develop methodological tools to assess the impact of supply chain management on the dynamics of regional economic growth, as well as to form mechanisms for a comparative analysis of the influence of the region’s reputation with traditional factors that activate macroeconomic generation. The Republic of Tatarstan acts as an object of study. The subject of the study is a methodological toolkit for assessing the impact of a region’s reputation on the parameters and dynamics of investment processes. A key feature of the study is the proposed version of the comparative analysis of traditional and non-traditional factors (the latter include supply chain management in this work) that trigger mechanisms of investment growth in the regional economic system. On the basis of the developed methodology for the formalized assessment of the region’s supply chain management, the authors have constructed models that evaluate the level of the comparative impact of reputation on the processes of generating investments in fixed assets. It is advisable to use the developed methodological approaches when developing new models of economic growth under conditions of increased importance and the role of intangible production factors. According to the results of the study, we have proved that the region’s supply chain management plays one of the leading roles along with traditional basic factors that trigger the mechanisms of intensification of investment activity. Moreover, as the calculations show, the importance of reputation for the matter of activating investment processes is even slightly more noticeable than such an important indicator as the “Balanced financial result of economic entities”..

Abstract

Efficiency is a vital criterion in global competitive business and sustainable growth. Efficiency has always been reflected in company’s performance based on the existing input or resources available against the optimum output generated. A highly strong organizations capability will attract higher revenue and more investors to the company. The purpose of this study is to evaluate, compare and rank the overall efficiency based on annual report of companies in Malaysia stock market by using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The analysis is carried out on 15 government-linked companies (GLCs) where cross-sectional data between periods of 2013 to 2017 were evaluated. Three efficiency input were considered including return on assets, return on equity and tobin’s q where the outcome or outputs were profitability. The results indicate the significance to the investors as the overall efficiency of the companies is ranked according to several years of reports using the DEA model. The implication of this research would benefit the organizations to perform better.

Abstract

The introduction of supply chain managements (SCM) and standardized financial instruments to improve the financial market regulation of Kazakhstan requires the reallocation of resources in favor of Islamic banking capital due to the rapid growth of their share in international finances.  Supply chain effects mean that highly levered financial intermediaries are the most efficient. Low asset volatility enables banks to safely take on high leverage; supply chain effects compel them to do so. The purpose of the research is to study the key aspects of increasing the effectiveness of state policy on banking capital regulation taking into account the supply chain management in Kazakhstan. To conduct the study, the Islamic Finance Development Indicator (IFDI) was used. This is a composite index reflecting the development of the Islamic finance industry by assessing the effectiveness of all its components in accordance with its supply chain process.  In the context of this indicator, the study focuses on the development of Islamic banking assets in Kazakhstan for the period from 2015 to 2019. It has been found that Islamic banks have a diversified business model and a high level of asset efficiency; they are more stable compared to traditional banks. Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates are the leaders in the SCM in finance industry. A model of state regulation of Islamic banking capital in Kazakhstan related to the development of Islamic banking, the capital market, Islamic non-banking and micro-finance institutions, as well as the elimination of obstacles (ijara, mudaraba, murabaha and wakala) has been proposed.  The developed model creates a number of advantages for the state: the possibility of creating a sovereign sukuk, issuing Islamic corporate securities, developing and attracting portfolio investments and alternative financing, as well as increasing the image of Kazakhstan in the development of Islamic banking capital.  is  a  meaningful  tool  for  the  banking  firms  or  the organizational  performance  and  various departmental  heads are very much aware to SCM practices for the greater banking performance.

Abstract

This article discusses the arguments in favor of and against a right to mobility by considering human resource managements for the supply chains. It argues that contemporary migration and border policies are largely restrictive but still fail to meet their announced objectives which call for alternative approaches to international human resource management. From a human rights viewpoint, tight border controls are accompanied by major challenges; including trafficking, the refuge crisis, and the death and vulnerability of irregular migrants; which ultimately threaten the moral foundations of liberal democracies. In this context, a right to mobility may constitute a relevant answer and the article examines the implications of such a right in terms of supply chain management, social cohesion, economic wealth, security, and border/migration governance.

Abstract

Abstract- The purpose of this study is to examine green supply chain management on electric vehicles in Indonesia. Variables in this research consisted of green supply chain, non-financial incentives by government and environmental im-pact on public perceptions of electric vehicles. The green supply chain man-agement variables in this study were the value added green supply chain man-agement and registration green supply chain management. The non-financial incentives variables in this research included the provision of public charging station and parking fee exemption. Samples from the study derived from 187 potential buyers of electric vehicles domiciled in Denpasar and Badung, Bali Province. This study adopted Structural Equation Model with SmartPLS as the analysis technique. A cost approach was also applied in this study. The appli-cation of these two methods was to provide a comprehensive understanding of policies related to electric vehicles. In line with other studies, the results of this study demonstrated that all variables had a positive effect on the public perception of electric vehicles. However, the environmental impact variable had the greatest influence at the lowest cost compared to other variables. Non-financial incentives variable exhibited a positive influence at an affordable cost than green supply chain management variable. The green supply chain management variable was confirmed to have a positive effect with the most expensive cost compared to others.

Abstract

Y - Generation of Indonesian has a lack of affordability in purchasing a house. It has become a much-discussed issue and attracted the researchers attention, both in terms of preferences, indexes, and solutions to deal with the problem. Generation Ys preferences in purchasing a house were also investigated in this research to understand which preferences will affect the demand and price of the houses because price is also an indicator used to identify the affordability. In addition, those preferences also will help some parties involved in housing transactions to create a strategy that will increase the affordability index. The data in this research is gathered using mixed methods in which the qualitative is used in the 5 interviews with the property experts to gain the questionnaire items, and the questionnaire as the quantitative method with 206 respondents limited to Generation Y who have fixed income every month and are willing to have a house in Jakarta. The data then further processed using PLS-SEM analysis. This research finally found that Generation Ys preferences are divided into four categories which are product specifications, future considerations, supplemental factors, and dweller characteristics (stated in sequence from the most influential to the least influential). In terms of affordability, according to five banks with lowest interest rate, BTN as well BRI and Mandiri have become the most affordable bank for Generation Y to do KPR because the indexes were 4.41% (can afford) and 95.59% (cannot afford) or the highest compared to BJB and BCA.
