Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that influence the performance of electionsupervisors. This research is classified as population research using a questionnaire as adata collection tool. The population of this study was the Election Supervisory Board(BAWASLU) of Talaud Islands Regency with 37 people and the Election SupervisoryCommittee of Talaud Islands Regency with 19 people. Data were analyzed usingdescriptive statistical analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The results ofdescriptive statistical analysis show that recruitment has a positive and significant effect,selection has a negative and insignificant effect, then compensation is positive andsignificant on the performance of Election Supervisors in Talaud Islands Regency andthese three variables have a simultaneous effect.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the organizational performance of the Class III Sape Port Operator Unit Office, West Nusatenggara Province. The data analysis technique used is a quantitative descriptive method, which describes the results of questionnaires and interviews obtained. The results showed that the organizational performance of the Sape Class III Port Operator Unit Office with an average score of 2.94 or was in the good enough category where the highest average score was on the accountability indicator, which was 3.18 or was in the good enough category while the lowest score lies in the service quality indicator, which is 2.66 or is in the fairly good category.

Abstract

Cocoa is a major crop in the plantation sector that has a very important role in thenational economy, especially as a major contributor to the country's income and foreignexchange. The objective of this study is to identify cocoa potential and cocoa supply chainin South Sulawesi. Descriptive research method was conducted using survey method.Based on the research results, (1) South Sulawesi is the largest contributor to cocoaproduction in Indonesia, providing 23.14 percent of national cocoa production andcovering an area of 217 thousand hectares. (2) The cocoa supply chain consists offarmers, collectors, distributors, and industry. (3) Risks in the cocoa supply chaininclude: (a) Price: Due to lack of access to specific information on cocoa prices, tradersset prices unilaterally. (b) Pest threats including cocoa blight, stem cancer, and aphids.(c) Seasonal Risks: The rainy season can also cause fungal diseases on the stems thatdamage cocoa pods. (d) Human Resource Risk: Community awareness on how to managecocoa properly and turn it into a good cocoa crop is low.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the implementation of establishing traditional villages inCentral Maluku and to determine and analyze the inhibiting factors in the implementationof establishing traditional villages in Central Maluku. The type of research in thisresearch is qualitative research, with a total of 9 informants consisting of 3 heads of stateand 6 community leaders. Data collection techniques were carried out throughobservation, interview guidelines and documentation. The data analysis technique usesdescriptive analysis in the form of data reduction, data presentation, data verificationand drawing conclusions. The research results found that the implementation ofestablishing traditional villages in Central Maluku has not been optimal in terms of thesize and objectives of the policy, the existence of resources, the characteristics ofimplementing agents, the attitudes shown, the implementation of communication betweenorganizations and the environment. This is due to the lack of socialization of CentralMaluku Regency Regional Regulation no. 10 of 2022 which is the legal umbrella forregulating the determination of traditional villages. There are several obstacles inimplementing the determination of traditional villages in Central Maluku Regency,including the socialization of Regional Regulations and their implementing regulationsregarding the determination of traditional villages, the lack of references and studies oftraditional villages that are in accordance with the rights of origin and customary lawapplicable in Central Maluku Regency, and the lack of knowledge of government officialsand the community in determining traditional villages.
