Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period from childhood. Adolescence is marked by the search for identity, then in adulthood self is obtained little by little absorbed in the order of chronological age and spiritual age. This study aims to determine the effect of parenting style on the learning discipline of class XI students of the Fashion Design Department of SMK Negeri 1 Bancak. The approach in this study is a quantitative approach with comparative causal methods. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, so that the sample in this study amounted to 72 students of class XI, the Department of Fashion. Data collection tool using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, it was stated that the majority of parents applied permissive parenting with a percentage of 40.3%, and student learning discipline was in the sufficient category with a percentage of 53.8%. Based on simple linear regression analysis, it is stated that there is a significant effect of parenting style on student learning discipline, where parenting style has a contribution of 11.1%

Abstract

Students who have learning difficulties are different from children who have learning problems. learning difficulties in this study focused on impaired children's ability to distinguish letters and write numbers. One of the learning difficulties experienced by students is dyslexia. The purpose of this study was to determine student learning difficulties (dyslexia) of elementary school students in Segedong District. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The stages of the method in this study were in the form of instrument design, interview data collection, observation and data analysis. Based on the results of the study there were 10 students who had symptoms of dyslexia out of a total of 133 students or 7.5% of students who had dyslexia. Most symptoms

Abstract

This study aims to determine adolescent perceptions of pornographic content on YouTube social media. The background is that some of them have positive perceptions of pornographic content and some have negative perceptions of pornographic content. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used in this study used a simple random sampling technique by taking samples through the Google from instrument with a Likert scale. The results of this study are that adolescents who have positive and negative perceptions of pornographic content have balanced values.

Abstract

The background of this research problem is the problem of determining the careers of alumni of the 2012 batch of Islamic Counseling Study Program in Padangsidimpuan City. The problem in this research is that many alumni of the Islamic Counseling Study Program still work not according to their competence with the BKI profile. Based on the above background, the aim of this research is to find out the problems of alumni of Islamic Counseling Study Program class of 2012, and to find out what problems alumni of Islamic Counseling Study Program class of 2012 have in determining their careers that are not in accordance with competence. This research uses qualitative research methods, based on the type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were alumni of the Islamic Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Studies class of 2012. Data collection instruments used in this study consisted of interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the research results, it is known that many alumni of Islamic Counseling Study Program work not in accordance with the profile of Islamic Counseling Guidance who can work as Counselors in social institutions (Clergy) in Hospitals, Religious Counselors, Preachers, HR Development Motivators, Bintal Workers in Police and Abri. This is due to the problems that alumni have.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of individual counseling with a reality approach on the self-esteem of children who are victims of bullying. This study uses a one group pretest and posttest design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, namely the youth of Dusun Gendolsari who had low self-esteem characteristics. The samples taken in this study were 5 people. The method of data collection is done by using a self-esteem questionnaire. The data analysis method used is the paired sample t-test parametric analysis. The results of this study indicate that individual counseling with a reality approach has an effect on increasing self-esteem. This is evidenced by the t-test results of -18,634 paired samples with a probability value of sig(2-tailed) 0.000<0.05. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, there is a difference in the average score of the self-esteem scale of 31.73% from the results of the pretest and posttest. The results of the study can be concluded that individual counseling with a reality approach has an effect on increasing the self-esteem of children who are victims of bullying.

Abstract

This study aims to describe text-based counseling by counseling teachers in the era of society 5.0. This study surveyed data using the Google form and used a quantitative descriptive approach. Respondents to this study were counseling teachers who served in junior high schools in Bandung. The number of samples in the study was 32 counseling teachers who filled out the Google form and 6 counseling teachers who were willing to carry out the interview process. The results of the study show that counseling teachers prefer text-based online counseling media, with the WhatsApp application.

Abstract

Along with the development of appearance style and physical character during adolescence, verbal abuse often happen in the form of body shaming. Body shaming are very influential on the self-confidence of adolescents. It’s because in adolescence, self-confidence is very important, especially to build interactions with friends and their environment. Body shaming that a teenager receives will indirectly undermine his self-confidence. This study aims to determine the significance effect of the body shaming treatment towards self-confidence on class of 2020 of Guidance and Counseling students at Satya Wacana Christian University. This type of research is causal comparative. The research sample was taken using a total sampling technique according to the total population of 48 students. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire instrument with 4 alternative answers. The research data were analyzed using a simple linear regression technique using SPSS 23. The results showed that the acquisition of tcount> ttable (-10,220 > 2,013) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that in this study there was a negative significant effect of the body shaming treatment towards the self-confidence on class of 2020 Guidance and Counseling students at Satya Wacana Christian University.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a paradigm shift in guidance and counseling towards a comprehensive approach. In this regard, religious counseling programs and strategies theoretically have goals that align with the focus of comprehensive guidance and counseling. The purpose of this study is to gain a better understanding of counselors and comprehensive counseling in relation to religious counseling programs and strategies. This research method uses a systematic literature review approach where data is collected from various sources, including books, journals, research reports, and articles about comprehensive counseling and religious counseling. Reference data is sorted based on periodization, keywords, and limitations. The results of the study show that religious counseling programs and strategies

Abstract

This research aims to develop guidance and counseling programs in reducing disruptive behavior of students in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi City. This is based on initial findings on the results of a need assessment using the Developmental Assignment Inventory which shows aspects of emotional maturity are still low, where students who have low emotional maturity tend to behave disruptive or disrupt the class. The research method used is Research & Development. The main objective of this research is to produce a product for developing a guidance and counseling service program at SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the significance of the influence of interpersonal communication on students dating violence in XII Tata Busana class of SMK PGRI 1 Salatiga. This type of research uses a causal comparative approach. The population of this research is students of XII Tata Busana class at SMK PGRI 1 Salatiga for the academic year 2022/2023 with a total of 40 students. The research sample was taken using total sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression technique with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 program. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant negative influence of interpersonal communication variables on students dating violence. These results are evidenced by the acquisition of a tcount value which has a negative sign of -2.408 and a significance value (p) of 0.021 <0.05 is obtained
