Abstract

This study aims to measure the validity and reliability of the academic stress instrument developed by Sun, Dunne, & Hou (2011). This study uses a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses the probability sampling method, namely cluster random sampling. The population in this study were students at the elementary, junior high school, senior high school,vocational school, and students with an age range of 12-19 years. The academic stress instrument has 16 favorable statement items. This scale uses a Likert scale model which has 5 alternative answers. The five alternative answers are Strongly Disagree (STS), Disagree (TS), Enough, Agree (S), Strongly Agree (SS). The results showed that 16 items were declared valid with an r count > 0.195 and an alpha reliability of 0.036.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significance of the relationship between workload and work fatigue and the significance of the relationship between working hours and work fatigue of employees of CV. Jaya Manunggal Garmen. This type of research is correlational in order to determine the relationship between workload variables and work hours variables with work fatigue variables. The population in this study were 45 employees of CV. Jaya Manunggal Garmen. The sample was taken using total sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used a scale and the data were analyzed using Kendall's tau_b technique. The research results obtained that there is a significant relationship between workload and employee fatigue with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 with a correlation coefficient value which shows the number 0.612. Furthermore, it was also found that there was a significant relationship between working hours and employee fatigue, as evidenced by a significance result of 0.000 <0.05 with a correlation coefficient value which shows the number 0.602

Abstract

The phenomenon of gadget addiction nowadays is not difficult to find among children. Those who have responsibility have also made efforts to reduce addiction, but it is not sufficient to provide more intensive services. The strategy that can be carried out in this study is using the want, direction, evaluation, planning (WDEP) reality counseling model in a group setting. The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of reality group counseling to reduce students' gadget addiction at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Waru. Research methods include quantitative, experiments using pretest and posttest. Subjects set 7 students. The selected subject is included in the category of high gadget addiction. Data was collected through gadget addiction instruments, expert tests and trials have been carried out. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon sign rank test.Based on the results of the analysis using the Wilcoxon sign rank test, it was found that z count = -2.936, and z table = 1.96, meaning that z count is greater than z table (-2.936> 1.96), then Ha is accepted meaning effective reality group counseling to reduce students addicted to gadgets at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Waru.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, preventive measures are the only effective way to deal with COVID-19, which requires a level of compliance with health protocols. Objective of this study was to determine the factors related to student compliance with the implementation of the COVID-19 health protocol in 2021. The population in this study were students aged 15-18 years with a total sample of 235 respondents. The study design used was cross sectional with the sampling technique using proportional stratified random sampling. The data used in this study is primary data. And the data analysis used is thetest chi-square. in this study indicate that there is a relationship between knowledge (p-value= 0.026), attitude (p-value= 0.017), cues to action (p-value= 0.008), and self-efficacy (p-value= 0.006) with student compliance with application of health protocols, and showed no significant relationship between student age (p-value= 0.071), gender (p-value= 0.278), perceived susceptibility (p-value= 0.341),  perceived severity (p-value=1,000), perceived benefits (p-value=0.974), perceived barriers (p-value=0.174) with student compliance with the implementation of the COVID-19 health protocol. obtained in this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, cues to action, and self-efficacy with student compliance with the implementation of the COVID-19 health protocol.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of positive reinforcement techniques for learning motivation at SMA Negeri 1 Sangkapura. This study uses a quantitative approach with a single-subject method (single-subject design). In this study, students of classes XI-Mia 3 and 4 were used as an experimental sample, amounting to 2 students using the purposive sampling technique to get the results that they have low learning motivation potential. This research method uses a learning motivation questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. The results showed that individual counseling services were given using positive reinforcement techniques for student learning. Effectively the two counselees have different results, counselee 1 overlap which is generated 0% while the second counselee 20%. Individual counseling services with positive reinforcement techniques can increase student learning motivation with the support of the results of data analysis.

Abstract

The use of gadgets that are not wise and proportional has caused a person's social, mental, and medical problems. Phubbing and smombies are one of the impacts of this problem. Phubbing stands for phone snubbing which refers to the behavior of people who are more focused on using gadgets than interacting with people or the environment around them. Smombie is a person who constantly uses a smartphone, cellphone, or gadget while walking. Or pedestrians who focus on their cellphones without paying attention to their surroundings. While Nomophobia refers to "anxiety about not having access to cell phones or cell phone services. Human behavior is essentially a process of individual interaction with the environment as a biological manifestation that he is a living being.  The behavior of someone who is exposed to phubbing, smombie, or nomophobia is the result of a response to the behavior of those who have been in the habit of using smartphones since childhood. Phubbing, smombie, and nomophobia greatly affect the life of everyone who experiences it such as safety, mental health, social interaction with other people, a person can be affected by this excessive use of cellphones.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significance of the effect of self-confidence on academic procrastination of guidance and counseling students class of 2020 at FKIP Satya Wacana Christian University.  The hypothesis put forward in this study is that there is a significant effect of self-confidence on academic procrastination of 2020 guidance and counseling students at FKIP Satya Wacana Christian University.  This research is a quantitative research with comparative causal research.  The subjects in this study were 48 Guidance and Counseling students class of 2020. Data collection used a questionnaire.  The results of the study show the value of Sig.  of 0.000 (0.000 < 0.050) and t count > t table (-) (8.990 > 2.013).  Self-confidence has an Rsquare value of 0.637, which means that the contribution of the self-confidence variable to the academic procrastination variable is 63.7% and the rest (37.3%) is influenced by other factors. The regression coefficient (x) is -0.795, this means that for every 1% increase in self-confidence, the student's academic procrastination value increases by -0.795.  Thus it can be concluded that self-confidence has a significant effect on the academic procrastination of guidance and counseling students class of 2020 at FKIP Satya Wacana Christian University so that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted.Keywords: Self-Confidence; Academic Procrastination

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of academic self-efficacy of students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program at PGRI Adi Buana University, Surabaya. The research samples were taken randomly in the 2020, 2021 and 2019 batches. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach using a self-efficacy scale. Data analysis used descriptive analysis with the help of SPSS. The results of the analysis show that the self-efficacy level of students in class 2019 is 93.37, class 2020 is 93.81 and class 2021 is 94.19. Individuals who have high self-efficacy are expected to perform better than individuals who are low, but in some conditions high self-efficacy can reduce effort on a task due to overconfidence, and thus lead to lower performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap peak performance atlet voli Surya Muda Salatiga. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah causal comparative. Sampel dalam penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik total sampling, dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 110 orang atlet sesuai dengan populasi penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik skala dengan 5 alternatif jawaban, yang mewakili 43 item variabel peak performance dan 24 item variabel self efficacy. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya pengaruh self efficacy terhadap peak performance atlet voli Surya Muda Salatiga. Hasil tersebut dibuktikan dengan perolehan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan juga thitung > ttabel (6,437 > 1,981). Pada penelitian ini juga diperoleh nilai R Square sebesar 0,277 yang artinya bahwa self efficacy berpengaruh sebesar 27,7% terhadap peak perfomance atlet voli Surya Muda Salatiga, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 72,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

This study discusses how to reduce bullying behavior on social media through group guidance services. The aim of the study was to see whether or not guidance services were significant in reducing student bullying behavior. The research method used was an experimental method, namely research that aimed to see changes in students' learning attitudes with guidance services. group. The type of design used in this study is a Quasi-Experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design. Topics discussed in group counseling services. The results of the study showed that there was a significant change in bullying behavior on social media.
