Abstract

The local institutional conditions of Sirnaresmi Village which have not been managed optimally in developing cultural tourism based on local wisdom as an alternative for other incomes for the community have not been carried out properly due to the resource capacity that has not been optimally managed for the welfare of indigenous peoples. Therefore, empowerment, training and mentoring programs are needed with the aim of increasing local institutional capacity and developing local wisdom-based tourism by providing counseling, training, and mentoring methods. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test implementation of local institutional empowerment to develop tourism, there was a significant increase both quantitatively and qualitatively. As for the comparison between before and after the training, there was an increase of 30%.

Abstract

Youth organization IMKA 08 is a forum for youth activities in Kalidadap II Hamlet, RT 08, which is located in Imogiri Districts, Bantul Regency. Together between IMKA 08 and Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta students as a community service team carried out counseling and training activities on intercropping banana and ginger cultivation. In addition to increasing agricultural knowledge about banana and ginger cultivation, this activity can motivate youth groups and local residents to love agriculture more and can improve the economy with good agriculture. The cultivation system applied in Kalidadap II Hamlet is the use of the yard around the house to make it more productive by intercropping ginger banana cultivation.

Abstract

This program was implemented with the aim of helping MSMEs entrepreneurs in Balesari Village, Windusari District, Magelang Regency, Central Java to increasing business turnover and expanding the market for these MSMEs products. The form of this activity was mentoring activities with lecture methods, tutorials, and discussions on digital marketing topics, food photography, attractive photo visual strategies and the use of social media as a promotional tool. As a result of this activity, MSMEs entrepreneurs gain knowledge and information about the world of digital marketing, social media accounts for selling, attractive product photos created by MSMEs entrepreneurs, promotional tricks and interesting sentences and attractive titles for promotion. MSMEs entrepreneurs have shown an increase in understanding about digital marketing and the products they produce for digital marketing. With the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that Balesari Village MSMEs entrepreneurs can be more consistent in carrying out business and promotional activities in the digital world so that they can support increased turnover and market expansion of Balesari Village MSME products. Abstract

The literacy program is aimed at villagers (4 target residents) through reading activities through enrichment of knowledge, skills and personality to add insight in accordance with the field of work of villagers in order to improve their welfare. The specification of the Village Literacy Program Assistance (PROLISA) is a literacy corner that functions as a community learning center that has a certain non-formal learning curriculum. Then for the topics covered in the Literacy Corner, it is intended to broaden people's insight, knowledge, attitudes and skills that are useful for improving their welfare. And the activities that we carry out will be directed at getting changes in attitudes and behavior by facilitating literacy books on motivation, general knowledge, and crafts. The holding of digital literacy socialization explains how to use digital tools properly and correctly so that people can use these tools as capital for online businesses.

Abstract

Aquaponics is an integration between fish and plant cultivation that benefits these two sectors. The development of aquaponics at the farm level can be an effort to increase food security. This community service activity aims to apply aquaponic leaf vegetable cultivation techniques, to optimize the facilities available at Gapoktan Bina Sejahtera (fish ponds). Activities carried out by counseling methods, training and demolots to farmers regarding the cultivation techniques of leaf vegetables and red tilapia with an aquaponic system. During the activity, monitoring was also carried out by a team of service lecturers, assistance by student teams and evaluation through pretest and posttest. This community service activity is able to provide new experiences, and increase farmers' knowledge and skills in cultivating red tilapia and leaf vegetables with an aquaponic system.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest and ability of elementary school teachers in compiling and producing classroom action research to support their professional careers as teachers. The purpose of this study was to increase teachers' understanding of the importance of classroom action research scientific work for professional teachers. The method used in this activity is service with training for teachers in the Bogor Regency, West Java. Community service activities are carried out in Building C, Djuanda University, Bogor. The results of the research show that this community service activity has a good impact on teachers and can increase teachers' understanding of PTK. This service produces 10 articles for teachers as a distribution of activities. The conclusion of this study is that training activities to increase PTK writing skills for teachers can improve teachers' understanding and ability to master and implement CAR and can compose writing in the form of classroom action research

Abstract

One of the problems around the forest is the very high dependence of the community on the forest. Forests are a source of life for the people, but on the one hand, forests must also be preserved. For this reason, it is necessary to look for new livelihoods, which still utilize forests but do not damage their sustainability. The choice is environmental tourism services. Against this background, this community service activity aims to increase the community's knowledge and skills regarding governance and tourism development. The method used in this service is by means of observation or surveys, counselling, training, mentoring, and product manufacturing skills. The results of the activity show an increase in knowledge and skills as measured by the pretest and post-test instruments. The community response to this activity was very positive. The community has new knowledge about how to take advantage of the local potential to become village tourism objects.

Abstract

Late adolescence is the age at which blood donors are permitted. The government's efforts to recruit voluntary blood donors can actually start at a young age. Unhealthy lifestyles can affect the health of adolescents. Cases of non-communicable diseases in the adolescent age group have increased. For this reason, it is necessary to have early detection of degenerative risk factors as well as blood group data collection in an effort to prepare a generation that is healthy and willing to donate blood. This community service aims to check the obesity status, blood pressure, hemoglobin levels, and blood type of adolescents living in Bener Tegalrejo Village, Yogyakarta. This activity is divided into several stages, namely coordinating with the activity site, preparing tools and materials, socializing the inspection flow, and the implementation stage. The results of this activity are expected to be the beginning of the formation of cooperation partners for recruiting blood donors with PMI. The result of this activity is that most of the youth are in good health and meet the requirements to donate blood.

Abstract

SMK Swasta Methodist Tanjung Morawa is a private school under the auspices of the Kasih Imanuel Indonesia Methodist Foundation, which was established in 2008. SMK Swasta Methodist Tanjung Morawa has various majors, one of which is Network and Computer Engineering (TKJ). Assembling computer equipment is one of the subjects that can help students become more familiar with computer equipment and know how to fix it and of course this lesson is already a lesson that is in accordance with the majors of SMK Swasta Methodist Tanjung Morawa students, namely Computer Network Engineering (TKJ). The students have studied theoretically related to assembling computer equipment, therefore, the Faculty of Informatics, Universitas Mikroskil offers activities in the form of training in assembling computer equipment to improve students' ability to have good knowledge in computer equipment and how to assemble it. This training activity lasted for 2 days and was carried out in the accounting laboratory at Universitas Mikroskil. During this training activity the students were given pre-test questions, materials and case studies, post-tests and final feedback.

Abstract

  Gunungsari Village, Maesan District is one of the villages in the Argopuro mountain region so that its natural potential is quite abundant, one of which is coffee. However, in terms of marketing, the community is only limited to selling green bean coffee. The focus of the chosen service is training and assistance related to coffee processing. The service location is located in Gunungsari Village, Maesan District, Bondowoso Regency. The approach used in this community service is the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach, which starts with mapping the existing assets in Gunungsari village, followed by discussions with government officials and the community door to door. Then do a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The FGD activities resulted in an agreement that the asset to be developed was coffee. The next step is to hold coffee processing training and assistance which aims to increase the selling price of coffee produced by farmers in Gunungsari Village..
