<![CDATA[This study aims at determining the contribution of school principal leadership, work motivation and school climate to the performance of elementary school teachers at Cluster IV District of Baturiti Tabanan Bali. This research was an ex-post facto research. The population which as also treated as the sample in this study were 61 teachers. Data in this study were collected by using questionnaires. Data analysis was performed by using simple regression, multiple regression, and partial correlation. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant contribution of headmaster leadership to the performance of elementary school teachers, (2) ) there is a significant contribution of teacher's work motivation to the performance of elementary school teacher; (3) there is significant contribution of work climate on the performance of elementary school teachers, and (4) together, there is a significant contribution of principal leadership, motivation work and work climate on the performance of elementary school teachers.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to (1) describe the values of character education contained in the folklore that used as subject material in Ganesha Vocational High School and (2) the relevance of the values of character education in the folklore in the development of student character. The design of this research is descriptive-qualitative. The subjects of this study are 10 folklores used in Ganesha Vocational High School and teachers of Indonesian subjects in Ganesha Vocational High School. The object of this study is the values of character education contained in the folklore and its relevance to the formation of student characters. Data collection methods used are documentation and interview method. Data analysis is done descriptively-qualitative. At the data reduction stage, identification stage is performed, data matching the problem is observed and classified and at the conclusion draw stage. The results showed that from ten folklore stories analyzed there are values of character education as follows; (1) religious (faith, piety, and thanksgiving); (2) responsibility; (3) social concern (public interest, helpers, willing to sacrifice, cooperation, sharing, and loving); (4) honest; (5) curiosity; (6) the spirit of nationality; (7) love the homeland; (8) independent; (9) discipline; (10); love peace; (11) hard work; (12) creative; (13) friendly / communicative; (14) tolerance; (15) appreciate achievement; (16) care about the environment; (17) like to read; (18) democratic. The results of interviews with teachers of Indonesian subjects in Ganesha Vocational High School, folklore contain the values of advice that can be used as teaching materials, so it has relevance for the development of student character. The conclusion of this study shows the value of characters contained in the story of the people of the Indonesian archipelago is very relevant to be a mirror in everyday life.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out how the knowledge or perspective of the younger generation of Karo tribe towards Karo tribe traditional cloth. Knowledge on the fabric (cloth) is includes the understanding on Karo traditional cloth, the name and meaning of Karo uis motifs, Karo traditional fabric and its characteristics, and the use of Karo traditional cloth in various cultural activities of Karo tribe. By using a descriptive qualitative method through a survey to the Karo younger generation whose both parents are from Karo tribes, this study found that generally the knowledge of young Karo tribe about traditional cloth. It can be concluded that the Karo young generation still have good and positive attention and the spirit in preserving the cultural and heritage of indigenous Karo tribe.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the attitude of teachers towards professional determination, self-concept, and the climate of primary school to the performance. This study is “ex-post facto†population of 83people, 73 people sample. Data collection tool is in the form of questionnaires, data analysis with regression techniques. The result showed that: (1) there is a significant determinant between teacher attitudes the profession with teacher performance with the correlation coefficient of 0.401, (2) there is a significant determinant between self-concept of teachers with teacher performance with the correlation coefficient of 0.325, (3) there is a determination significant difference between the climate of the school with teacher performance with correlation coefficient of 0.337, contributing 11.3% and the effective contribution of 6.2%, (4) the co-operation between teachers’ attitudes towards the profession, self-concept, and work climate with performance teachers with multiple correlation coefficient of 0.465 and a 21.6% contribution to the performance of teachers.]]>

<![CDATA[Memahami Arti Laba Melalui “Semak†dipilih sebagai judul karena; Pertama, kata “semak†adalah akronim dari Semiotika Akuntansi. Kita akan melihat bagaimana wajah akuntansi (arti laba) jika ditinjau dari sudut pandang semiotika. Kedua, “semak†memiliki makna literal yang berhubungan dengan objek penelitian ini yaitu Perusahaan Kehutanan sehingga akronim dan objek penelitian memiliki relasi makna. Objek penelitian adalah PT Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk yang telah terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami arti laba yang disajikan dalam laporan tahunan mereka. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik dokumentasi, Dokumentasi dilakukan dengan mengunduh annual report PT Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk. Fokusnya menganalisis narrative text tentang keseluruhan kondisi perusahaan pada akhir periode akuntansi. Narrative text dianalisa dengan pendekatan semiotika. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan arti laba adalah kesungguhan, prestasi, dan eksistensi diri sebuah perusahaan. Melalui semiotika akuntansi dengan makna kesungguhan, prestasi, dan eksistensi diri sebuah perusahaan diharapkan dapat memperkuat komunikasi bisnis secara intensif.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed at investigating the implementation of the process based approach in teaching writing in order to know its effect to the improvement of students’ writing achievement Furthermore, the quantitative method was used in this research with quasi experimental design. The subjects involved in this study were 35 Junior High School students from VII A7 class in SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja, Bali, Indonesia. The proficiency test such as pretest and post test were conducted in this study in oder to collect the data. The students were given a treatment for about eight weeks. The data obtained were analysed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. It was analyzed using SPSS. As the result of statistical analysis, it was found that sig 2-tailed result in the paired samples t-test wast 0.00, which was below 0.05. In terms of the mean score, it was found the mean score in the post test (80.46) was higher than the mean score in the pretest (68.59). So, it can be concluded that process based approach had a significant effect on the seventh’ grade students writing achievement.]]>

<![CDATA[The symptoms of patriarchy open space controversy due to the emergence of violent men over women at once into the wetlands for the author to dismantle, even readers in order to build awareness of arif in facing the sides of life nuances of patriarchy. Women Berkalung Turbans works Abidah El Khalieqy loaded with patriarchy. This study mengolaborasikan the theory of domination, patriarchy, and violence in the realm of Sociology literature. Writers in its implementation be flexible over existing theories to be more critical and not stuck in one perspective. The results of the analysis showed that the patriarchal Women Berkalung Turbans as follows: 1). the domestic violence directly marked Patriarchal presence of actions, deeds, and the behavior of injure, damage, and destroyed with the intent to legitimize power, and 2). The patriarchal domestic violence indirectly signaled the presence of dirty sayings, not worthy, and deviate from the norm with the aim of influencing the mindset and psychic, so woke up the image that men are more important than women.]]>

<![CDATA[Becak wisata Kota Probolinggo telah menunjukan peran strategisnya dalam pelayanan wisatawan kapal pesiar. Kualitas pelayanan becak wisata menjadi bagian penting peningkatan promosi dan pengembangan pariwisata di Kota Probolinggo. Beberapa permasalahan yang muncul, yaitu rendahnya kualitas pelayanan pengemudi becak wisata yang masih belum menjadi sebuah produk wisata menarik, dan ketidakkonsistenan fungsi kelembagaan asosiasi sebagai fasilitator peningkatan kualitas pelayanan wisatawan kepada para anggotanya. Tujuannya untuk meningkatkan pelayanan becak wisata sebagai moda transportasi unggulan serta merevitalisasi fungsi kelembagaan Asosiasi Becak Bestari dalam peningkatan kualitas pelayanan wisatawan. Metode yang dipergunakan yaitu menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Menghasilkan beberapa aspek, yaitu rumusan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) khusus pelayanan becak wisata untuk wisatawan kapal pesiar, serta menyusun fungsi sistem kelembagaan Becak Bestari Kota Probolinggo. Kesimpulan bahwa SOP khusus pelayanan wisatawan kapal pesiar menjadi panduan pelayanan dasar kepada wisatawan, serta system kelembagaan baru mampu mengadopsi perkembangan kebutuhan terhadap pelayanan kepada wisatawan.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the influence of the implementation Good Corporate Governance and the existence of awig - awig on the financial performance of LPD with Tri Hita Karana culture as a moderated variable in the LPD in Mengwi sub-district. This study used a saturated sampling method and the data analysis technique used was Moderated Regression Analysis. T test results show that:1) Good Corporate Governance had a positive effect on Financial Performance; 2) The existence of Awig-awig had a positive effect on financial performance; 3) Tri Hita Karana Culture strengthens the influence of Good Corporate Governance on Financial Performance; 4) Tri Hita Karana's culture strengthens the influence of Awig-awig's Existence on Financial Performance.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims at investigating: (1) the direct effect of career expectation as teacher (X3) on teaching professionalism attitude (X4), (2) the direct effect of academic self-concept (X1) on teaching professionalism attitude (X4), (3) the direct effect of teaching interest (X2) on teaching professionalism attitude (X4), (4) the direct effect of academic self-concept (X1) on career expectation as teacher (X3), (5) the direct effect of teaching interest (X2) on career expectation as teacher (X3), (6) the indirect effect of academic self -concept (X1) on teaching professionalism attitude (X4), (7) the indirect effect of teaching interest (X2) on teaching professionalism attitude (X4). The population of the research was 251 students of PGSD Undiksha. It was an ex-post factor research. The result of the research shows that: (1) there is a direct effect of 0.2971 from X3 on X4, (2) there is a direct effect of 0.2724 from X1 on X4, (3) there is a direct effect of 0.1706 from X2 on X4, (4) there is a direct effect of 0.3709 from X1 on X3, (5) there is a direct effect of 0.2084 from X2 on X3, (6) there is an indirect effect of 0.2496 from X1 on X4, (7) there is an indirect effect of 0.2914 from X2 on X4.]]>
