Abstract

This article examined the effect of STIFIn-based HR Management Practices on Job Performance. This research is a quantitative study with hypothesis testings using the PLS-SEM approach and analyzed using WarpPLS software. Hypothesis testings are carried out with two models; Model-1 investigates the relationship of the variables in STIFIn HR Management, namely selection and retention of performance. Model-2 investigates the relationship between the overall STIFIn HR management practices and overall job performance. This research was conducted at companies that have implemented STIFIn-based HR Management. The sample was determined by purposive sampling method. This study found a significant effect of STIFIn-based HR Management namely selection and retention practices on employee performance both in task performance and contextual performance. While the results of the model-2 analysis show that STIFIn's overall HR practice is also significant on performance with higher impact than if those HR STIFIn are implemented individually both of selection or retention. The results of this study will provide new insights into the previous research on the effect of HR management practices on performance, and specifically on HR management practices based on employee’s personality types.

Business location is a place where companies produce goods or services that focus on the economy. The development of a company is determined by one important factor, namely location decision. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of location decision (based on business environment conditions, infrastructure availability, and location costs) on business success. Data collection in this study was carried out through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires to several micro/small scale copy center business owners in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. Analysis of the data in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. This study provides results that the condition of the business environment, the availability of infrastructure, and location costs have a positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously on business success. Therefore, as an effort to achieve and increase business success, business owners must consider the condition of the business environment, the availability of infrastructure, and location costs when determining/choosing a business location.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the success of e-commerce participating in Harbolnas from a user perspective by adopting model of Delone McLean. Data were obtained through a questionnaire using cluster random sampling technique. The hypotheses were tested by path analysis and sobel test. The results show that e-commerce participating in Harbolnas 2019 can meet the success of e-commerce based on the e-commerce success model of Delone McLean. It is shown by system quality, information quality, and service quality influenced each use and user satisfaction. In addition, information quality, use, and user satisfaction directly influenced net benefits. Meanwhile, system quality and service quality do not directly influenced net benefits. Other results indicate that system quality, information quality, and service quality also influenced net benefits through mediating use and user satisfaction. Abstract

Regional Development Banks (RDB) are part of the banking industry which has an important role in regional development. Therefore, RDB performance is important to be evaluated, and efficiency is an important indicator in measuring performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency of the Regional Development Bank (RDB) in Indonesia and the internal factors that influence efficiency. Based on data of 26 RDBs in the study from 2011Q1 to 2019Q4, this study uses Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), and the Tobit regression to investigate the determinants of technical efficiency. This analysis aims to explain the variations in calculated efficiencies to a set of internal explanatory variables. The results showed that most RDBs were technically inefficient during the study period. Furthermore, the internal variables that affect are size, capital adequacy ratio (CAR), loan to deposit ratio (LDR), return on asset (ROA), Listed Bank.

Abstract

There are lots of factors that investors need to take in consideration before investing. Although the importance of external factors is undeniable, in recent decade, experts started to realize the importance of internal factors in investing. This includes behavior and psychological factors. This analysis of internal factor is what we refer to as behavior finance. However, just how important behavior finance is, and how significant it is in investment decision? In this study, researcher aims to determine the impact of anchoring, herding bias, overconfidence, and ethical consideration towards investment decision. Questionnaires were distributed to 149 investors of different backgrounds to determine the impact of behavior finance towards investment decision. PLS-SEM was used to test the research hypotheses. Through this research, it is determined that behavior and psychological biases and tendencies do affect investment decision. It is important to understand behaviors in investing because these behavior biases and tendencies can potentially lead to loss. Understanding behavior finance means investors can avoid behavior biases and rectify mistakes.
