Abstract

Many concepts of chemistry about abstract things that require strong understanding to the concepts by relating it in daily life. Its implementation does not only have to be directly face to face, but also can be through e-learning. The aim of this study is at describing the differences in the influence of the Problem-Based e-Learning (PBeL) model with Direct e-learning (DeL) model on critical thinking skills and chemistry learning achievement. This quasi-experimental study was applied in which thepretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design, involving 3 classes (95 students) of Class X MIPA SMAN-1 Bebandem. The study sample consisted of 2 classes (64 students). Critical thinking skills and chemistry learning achievement data were obtained from the critical thinking skills test scores and chemistry learning achievement. Data were analyzed descriptively by using one-way MANCOVA. The results showed that, there were significant differences in: (1) critical thinking skills and learning achievement together between students learning with PBeL and DeL models (F= 26,363; p<0.05); (2) critical thinking skills between students learning with PBeL and DeL models (F= 36,278; p<0.05); (3) learning achievement between students learning with PBeL and DeL models (F= 9,859; p <0.05). PBeL model has a greater effect than DeL on critical thinking skills and Chemistry learning achievement of class X students of SMAN-1 Bebandem AbstrakBanyak konsep kimia tentang hal-hal abstrak yang memerlukan pemahaman yang kuat dengan mengaitkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pelaksanaannya tidak harus secara tatap muka tetapi bisa melalui e-Learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan pengaruh model Problem-Based e-Learning (PBeL) dengan model Direct e-Learning (DeL) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan prestasi atau hasil belajar Kimia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan pre-test and post-test non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 3 kelas paralel (95 siswa) kelas X MIPA SMAN-1 Bebandem. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 kelas paralel (64 siswa). Data keterampilan berpikir kritis dan prestasi/hasil belajar kimia diperoleh dari skor tes keterampilan berpikir kritis dan prestasi/hasil belajar Kimia. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan MANCOVA satu jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada (1) keterampilan berpikir kritis dan prestasi/hasil belajar secara bersama-sama antara peserta didik yang belajar dengan model PBeL dan DeL (F=26,363;  p<0,05), (2) keterampilan berpikir kritis antara peserta didik yang belajar dengan model PBeL dan DeL (F=36,278; p<0,05); dan (3) prestasi/hasil belajar Kimia antara peserta didik yang belajar dengan model PBeL dan DeL (F = 9,859; p<0,05). Model PBeL berpengaruh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan DeL terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan prestasi/hasil belajar Kimia siswa kelas X SMAN-1 Bebandem.

Abstract

This study aims to verify the effect of the SOLE learning model on the literacy skills of Early Childhood Education Teachers in Banten Province. This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type. The subjects of this study were Early Childhood Education Teachers Teachers in Banten Province. The research data collection technique was in the form of a test instrument. The data validity used content and construct validity. The data analysis technique used variance analysis. The results showed that there was an effect of the SOLE learning model on the literacy skills of Early Childhood Education Teachers teachers in Banten Province. The descriptive analysis of teacher activity shows that the experimental class (SOLE learning model) is better than the control class (conventional model). The conclusion of this study is that the SOLE learning model has an effect on improving the literacy skills of Early Childhood Education Teachers teachers.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran SOLE terhadap kemampuan literasi guru PAUD di Provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis kuasi eksperimen. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu guru PAUD di Provinsi Banten. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini berupa instrument tes. Validitas data menggunakan validitas isi dan konstruk. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran SOLE terhadap kemampuan literasi guru PAUD di Provinsi Banten. Analisis aktivitas guru secara deskriptif memperlihatkan bahwa kelas eksperimen (model pembelajaran SOLE) lebih baik daripada kelas control (model konvensional). Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu model pembelajaran SOLE berpengaruh meningkatkan kemampuan literasi guru PAUD.

Abstract

Interactive multimedia is a technology that mediates the development of learning activities to make it more interesting and enjoyable so that it can motivate students to learn. This study aims to determine feasibility of interactive learning multimedia product in motivating student for fourth grade of elementary school to learn mathematics. The research method uses the concept of ADDIE models to develop products with five stages, 1) analyze; 2) design; 3) develop; 4) implement; and 5) evaluate. The result showed that the development of interactive learning multimedia is feasible used for motivating students in grade 4 to learn mathematics. The result of validation by material experts showed that the products developed reached a score of 43 so that it was included in the "very good" category, while the results of the validation by the media experts showed that the products developed reached a score of 59 so that it was included in the "very good" category. Teacher responses related to the practicality of product use reached a score of 113 so that it was included in the "very good" category, while student responses related to the practicality of using the product reached a score of 83 so that it was included in the "very good" category. In motivating students to learn mathematics, interactive learning multimedia can be applied to elementary school students in grade 4. AbstrakMultimedia interaktif adalah teknologi yang memediasi pengembangan kegiatan pembelajaran agar lebih menarik dan menyenangkan sehingga mampu memotivasi siswa dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dalam memotivasi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar untuk belajar matematika. Metode penelitian menggunakan konsep model ADDIE untuk mengembangkan produk dengan lima tahap, 1) menganalisis; 2) desain; 3) berkembang; 4) mengimplementasikan; dan 5) mengevaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif layak digunakan untuk memotivasi siswa kelas 4 dalam belajar matematika. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan mencapai skor 43 sehingga masuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”, sedangkan hasil validasi oleh ahli media menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan mencapai skor 59 sehingga masuk dalam kategori "sangat baik". Tanggapan guru terkait dengan kepraktisan penggunaan produk mencapai skor 113 sehingga masuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”, sedangkan respons siswa terkait dengan kepraktisan penggunaan produk mencapai skor 83 sehingga masuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Dalam memotivasi siswa untuk belajar matematika, multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dapat diterapkan untuk siswa sekolah dasar di kelas 4.

Abstract

The aimed of this study was to develop a blended learning for vocational students of light vehicle power expertise program in the learning process as a learning strategy to overcome the problem of lack of face-to-face time in class. The procedure for developing blended learning used was PEDATI model (learning, deepening, applying, measuring) as design instructional for blended learning. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used was descriptive qualitative. The development of blended learning through the PEDATI model will be very effective for the achievement of learning objectives optimally and efficiency in learning time in class. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan blended learning bagi siswa SMK program keahlian tenaga kendaraan ringan dalam proses pembelajaran sebagai suatu strategi pembelajaran untuk mengatasi masalah kekurangan waktu tatap muka di kelas. Prosedur pengembangan blended learning dengan model PEDATI (Pelajari, Dalami, Terapkan, dan Evaluasi) sebagai model desain pembelajaran blended learning. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengembangan blended learning dengan prosedur PEDATI  akan sangat efektif untuk pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran secara optimal dan efisiensi waktu pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji proses pengembangan, kelayakan, dan respons dari peserta didik terhadap pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills pada kelas XII Akuntansi Keuangan dan Lembaga mata pelajaran akuntansi keuangan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 2 Madiun. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester genap kelas XII Akuntansi Keuangan dan Lembaga dengan jumlah 25 peserta didik. Model pengembangan penelitian yang digunakan yakni model 4D (Define, Design, Development and Dissemination). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, angket atau kuesioner, dokumentasi dan tes hasil respons peserta didik. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah tingkat kelayakan berdasarkan penilaian pengesahan dari ahli materi, kebahasaan, dan desain grafis mendapatkan skor nilai 87%, kategori sangat layak untuk digunakan. Aspek yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan kelayakan diambil dari aspek materi, aspek kebahasaan dan aspek media (desain grafis). Tingkat respons peserta didik dinilai berdasarkan 4 komponen, yakni komponen isi, materi, penyajian dan bahasa, serta mendapatkan kriteria penilaian “Sangat Menarik” untuk digunakan. AbstrakThis study aims to analyze and study the development process, feasibility, and response of students to the development of Student Worksheets based on Higher Order Thinking Skills in class XII Financial Accounting and Institutions of financial accounting subjects at 2 Madiun Vocational High School. This research was conducted in the even semester of class XII Financial Accounting and Institutions with a total of 25 students. The research development model used is the 4D model (Define, Design, Development and Dissemination). Data collection is done by observation, questionnaire or questionnaire, documentation and test results of students' responses. The results of this study are the level of eligibility based on the assessment of endorsement by experts in material, linguistic, and graphic design score of 87%, the category is very feasible to use. The aspects used to obtain eligibility are taken from the material aspects, linguistic aspects and media aspects (graphic design). Student response rates are assessed based on 4 components, namely the components of content, material, presentation and language, and get an assessment criteria "Very Attractive" to use.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the learning process from face-to-face to online learning. Therefore, universities are forced to prepare their learning management system’s infrastructure quickly. Students and lecturers’ readiness for e-learning are also crucial. This study aims to investigate lecturers and students’ readiness for online learning during this pandemic. Furthermore, lecturers and students’perception about the constraints and advantages of online learning were also explored in this study. Respondents in this study were 1036 students and 354 lecturers from various universities in Indonesia. Students’ readiness for online learning was measured by the Online Learning Readiness Survey/OLRS and the results showed that students in this study were ready because they had a high score of self-efficacy in technology and high learning motivation during the pandemic. Meanwhile, lecturers' readiness was measured by Teacher Readiness for Online Learning Measurement/TROLM and we found that lecturers were ready because they had a high score in communicating via computer and in self-directed learning to continue utilizing the technology. These results contribute to research related in online learning during the pandemic and provide important implications for University’s management in dealing with changes in education.AbstrakPandemic COVID-19 telah mengubah proses belajar dari tatap muka menjadi belajar secara daring (pembelajaran jarak jauh/PJJ). Oleh karena itu perguruan tinggi diminta untuk mempersiapkan infrastruktur pembelajaran jarak jauh secara cepat. Kesiapan mahasiswa dan dosen dalam menjalankan PJJ pun menjadi sangat penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali kesiapan dosen dan mahasiswa menjalani PJJ selama masa pandemi. Selanjutnya, peneliti juga memetakan persepsi dosen dan mahasiswa tentang kendala dan keuntungan dalam pembelajaran secara daring. Responden penelitian ini adalah 1036 mahasiswa dan 354 dosen dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Kesiapan mahasiswa mengikuti PJJ diukur dengan menggunakan Online Learning Readiness Survey/OLRS. Hasilnya adalah bahwa mahasiswa/i dalam studi ini siap menjalankan PJJ. Alasannya adalah dikarenakan mereka memiliki efikasi diri yang tinggi menggunakan teknologi dan motivasi belajar yang tetap baik di masa pandemi. Sementara itu kesiapan dosen mengajar diukur dengan menggunakan Teacher Readiness for Online Learning Measurement/TROLM. Ditemukan bahwa dosen-dosen siap menjalankan PJJ. Alasannya dikarenakan mereka memiliki efikasi diri yang tinggi berkomunikasi melalui komputer dan memiliki self-directed learning yang juga tinggi untuk terus belajar menggunakan teknologi. Di samping berkontribusi terhadap penelitian terkait PJJ di masa pandemi, hasil penelitian ini juga memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengelola perguruan tinggi dalam menghadapi perubahan pendidikan di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Learning is an important activity for students in school. Therefore school must provide a place for students to develop learning skills. One of them is by improving the learning guidance service by the Guidance and Counseling teacher. The goal of the research is to develop the classroom counseling material for guidance learning in 21st century for students of Vocational High School. This research is R & D. This development research refers to Dick and Carey (2001) which consisted 10 steps consisting of identify instructional goals, conduct instructional analysis, identify entry behaviours, write performance objectives, develop criterian reference tests, develop instructional strategy, develop and select instructional materials, develop and conduct formative evaluation, revise instructional, develop and conduct sumative evaluation. The researcher only applied 9 steps for the step 10 is revise instructional. The development of teaching materials were through some steps. They were the review of subject matter expert, learning design expert, small grup experiment test and field experiment test. This small group test were conducted to five students of SMKN 1 Kemlagi. Meanwhile, the field experiment test were conducted to 32 student of X MM 2 in SMKN 1 Kemlagi. The analysis of the result data in this research used qualitative and quantitative approach. The data from the expert which is in the form of suggestions and critics  was analized using qualitative approach meanwhile advisability data dan and opinion about advisability of teaching material described in the form of quantitative approach. This devolepment product can be used at school as one of the learning source in Vocational High school because of the result of validation experiment and experiment to student showed that the product is suitable to be used.AbstrakBelajar merupakan kegiatan inti peserta didik di sekolah. Oleh karena itu sekolah harus memberikan wadah kepada peserta didik untuk mengembangkan keterampilan belajar. Salah satunya dengan meningkatkan layanan bimbingan belajar oleh guru Bimbingan dan Konseling. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan materi layanan klasikal dalam bimbingan belajar pada abad 21 bagi peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian R & D. Pengembangan ini mengacu pada model pengembangan Dick and Carey (2001) yang terdiri dari 10 langkah yang meliputi: mengidentifikasi tujuan pembelajaran, melakukan analisis pembelajaran, menganalisis karakteristik peserta didik, merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran, mengembangkan instrumen penilaian, mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran, mengembangkan dan memilih bahan ajar, merancang dan melaksanakan evaluasi formatif, melakukan revisi serta mendesain dan melakukan evaluasi sumatif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti membatasi hanya pada langkah yang ke-9, yaitu melakukan revisi. Proses pengembangan bahan ajar ini melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu review ahli isi, review ahli desain pembelajaran, uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba lapangan. Uji coba kelompok kecil dilakukan oleh peserta didik di SMK Negeri 1 Kemlagi sebanyak 5 orang. Sedangkan uji coba lapangan dilaksanakan kepada 32 peserta didik kelas X MM 2 SMK Negeri 1 Kemlagi. Analisis data hasil penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data berupa saran dan kritik dari ahli dan peserta didik dianalisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan data kelayakan mengenai kesesuaian bahan ajar diolah dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Produk pengembangan ini bisa dipakai di sekolah sebagai salah satu sumber belajar di SMK karena hasil validasi ahli dan uji coba kepada peserta didik menunjukkan produk masuk dalam kriteria layak.

Abstract

SARS-CoV-2 or Coronavirus is a new virus variant that provides new challenges and adaptations for educators, learners, parents, and the wider community. The presence of Covid-19 provides complex problems that arise in the Education world. This research aimed to determine students' perspectives on online learning during the Covid-19 period and the negative side that was felt by students directly due to the existence of Covid-19. This research used a descriptive case study approach. The research was conducted online on May, 5-23 2020. This study's subjects were 38 students of 2nd-semester primary school teacher education, PGRI Yogyakarta University. Data were collected through open interviews via WhatsApp. The data analysis technique used the Bogdan and Biklen model to reduce, look for sub-themes, and look for relationships between sub-themes. The findings show that (1) technology is an essential key during the Covid-19 pandemic and a catalyst for learning that utilizes technology in the Fourth Industrial revolution; (2) the use of technology increases student engagement, and makes learning possible anywhere and anytime; (3) online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic has not run optimally; (4) obstacles that arise in online learning are influenced by gadgets and network conditions (5) online learning has a negative impact on students' physical and mental health; and (6) expectations that arise from students, namely a reduction in the workload, re-explanation from the lecturer on the material, and providing variations in learning. AbstrakVirus Corona (SARS-CoV-2) atau Covid-19 menjadi varian virus baru yang memunculkan tantangan dan adaptasi baru bagi pendidik, peserta didik, orang tua, dan masyarakat luas. Hadirnya Covid-19 memberikan kompleksitas permasalahan yang muncul di dunia Pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perspektif mahasiswa tentang pembelajaran daring di masa Covid-19, dan sisi negatif yang dirasakan oleh mahasiswa secara langsung karena adanya Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 - 23 Mei 2020 secara daring. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 38 mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar semester 2, Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara terbuka melalui WhatsApp. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Bogdan dan Biklen melalui reduksi, mencari sub-tema, dan mencari hubungan antar sub-tema. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa (1) teknologi menjadi kunci penting di masa pandemi Covid-19 dan katalisator bagi pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan teknologi di era revolusi industri 4.0; (2) pemanfaatan teknologi meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa, dan membuat belajar dapat dilakukan di mana saja dan kapan saja; (3) pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi Covid-19 belum berjalan secara optimal; (4) hambatan yang muncul dalam pembelajaran daring dipengaruhi oleh gadget dan kondisi jaringan; (5) pembelajaran daring memberikan dampak negatif pada fisik dan mental dari mahasiswa; dan (6)  harapan yang muncul dari mahasiswa yaitu pengurangan beban tugas, penjelasan kembali dari dosen pada materi, dan munculnya variasi pembelajaran.
