Abstract

This research tried to test the influence of individual attributes (age, gender, academic rank and job tenure); the influence of personal motivational factors that drive academic research (intrinsic and extrinsic factors); the influence of university attributes (organizational support) towards research productivity of lectures in Indonesia. Data were collected through questionnaires to 135 lecturers from private and public universities in Indonesia. From seven hypotheses tested in this research, only the fourth hypothesis was supported. Implications managerial that can be applied in this research are improving organizational culture and climate that support research productivity in the university with the attention to investment factors or extrinsic factors; consumption factors or intrinsic factor; organizational supports such as amount of assistant from students helping lecturers in the research, procedures for propose the research and the total amount needed for the research, the availability of literatures in the library, and the adjustable teaching load for lecturers.  Keywords:  research productivity, consumption factors, investment factors, organizational support

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to  examine the effects of job satisfaction and job search on turnover intentions in which withdrawal cognitions as mediating variable.  Variables in this research were measured via a survey of 95 administration staffs of credit banking company in Bandung, West Java. Path analysis model were used to examine the significant level and the direct effects of job satisfaction on turnover intentions and also indirect effects of job satisfaction on turnover intention, withdrawal cognitions and job search as mediating variables.  Results showed that job satisfaction significantly influences turnover intentions and job satisfaction significantly influences withdrawal cognitions. In addition, this research found that withdrawal cognitions found significantly mediated the relationship between job satisfaction and job search. Job satisfaction is also found significantly influences job search and job search significantly found mediated the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intentions. Abstract

Kegiatan pembekalan ini merupakan kegiatan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang perencanaan keuangan  dana Pendidikan anak bagi para orang tua siswa Sekolah BAPTIS di kota Bandung dari tingkat TK sampai dengan SMP. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan serta pemahaman orang tua akan penting perencanaan keuangan terhadap dana pendidikan serta memperkenal instrument keuangan yang ada Di Indonesia, sehingga para orang tua dapat menyisihkan pendapatan untuk melakukan investasi yang sesuai dengan kondisi keuangan dan return yang diharapkan. Peserta pembekalan ini adalah para orang tua murid serta guru guru dari TK-SMP. Kegiatan ini berlangsung pada bulan Mei 2021 secara daring dikarenakan kondisi pandemik Covid-19 sehingga tidak memungkinkan dilakukan secara tatap muka langsung. Metode pembekalan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk ceramah, presentasi dan tanya jawab. Hasil dari kegiatan didapatkan pengetahuan para peserta tentang proses perencanaan keuangan serta pemahaman akan jenis-jenis instrumen investasi yang bisa dipilih. Sehingga diharapkan kegiatan semacam ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan para orang tua mempersiapkan serta mendukung kualitas pendidikan anak yang baik di masa yang akan datang

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the term work from home (WFH) has been introduced to refer to a work arrangement in which individual can complete their duties while they are at home. While most flexible work arrangements are a preference, work from home is mandatory. Therefore, the impact of WFH during the Covid-19 pandemic needs to be studied. The total respondent of this study is 337 employees, who are works at home during the pandemic. The results showed that the three main benefits employees might gain during WFH are flexibility, more time with family, and less travel time. On the other side, employees struggle to balance their personal and work life, access to websites or software, and limited devices and workspace. Most of the companies are not ready for the WFH scheme though some of them gave support to employees (e.g., quota subsidy). Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the learning process from face-to-face to online learning. Therefore, universities are forced to prepare their learning management system’s infrastructure quickly. Students and lecturers’ readiness for e-learning are also crucial. This study aims to investigate lecturers and students’ readiness for online learning during this pandemic. Furthermore, lecturers and students’perception about the constraints and advantages of online learning were also explored in this study. Respondents in this study were 1036 students and 354 lecturers from various universities in Indonesia. Students’ readiness for online learning was measured by the Online Learning Readiness Survey/OLRS and the results showed that students in this study were ready because they had a high score of self-efficacy in technology and high learning motivation during the pandemic. Meanwhile, lecturers' readiness was measured by Teacher Readiness for Online Learning Measurement/TROLM and we found that lecturers were ready because they had a high score in communicating via computer and in self-directed learning to continue utilizing the technology. These results contribute to research related in online learning during the pandemic and provide important implications for University’s management in dealing with changes in education.AbstrakPandemic COVID-19 telah mengubah proses belajar dari tatap muka menjadi belajar secara daring (pembelajaran jarak jauh/PJJ). Oleh karena itu perguruan tinggi diminta untuk mempersiapkan infrastruktur pembelajaran jarak jauh secara cepat. Kesiapan mahasiswa dan dosen dalam menjalankan PJJ pun menjadi sangat penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali kesiapan dosen dan mahasiswa menjalani PJJ selama masa pandemi. Selanjutnya, peneliti juga memetakan persepsi dosen dan mahasiswa tentang kendala dan keuntungan dalam pembelajaran secara daring. Responden penelitian ini adalah 1036 mahasiswa dan 354 dosen dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Kesiapan mahasiswa mengikuti PJJ diukur dengan menggunakan Online Learning Readiness Survey/OLRS. Hasilnya adalah bahwa mahasiswa/i dalam studi ini siap menjalankan PJJ. Alasannya adalah dikarenakan mereka memiliki efikasi diri yang tinggi menggunakan teknologi dan motivasi belajar yang tetap baik di masa pandemi. Sementara itu kesiapan dosen mengajar diukur dengan menggunakan Teacher Readiness for Online Learning Measurement/TROLM. Ditemukan bahwa dosen-dosen siap menjalankan PJJ. Alasannya dikarenakan mereka memiliki efikasi diri yang tinggi berkomunikasi melalui komputer dan memiliki self-directed learning yang juga tinggi untuk terus belajar menggunakan teknologi. Di samping berkontribusi terhadap penelitian terkait PJJ di masa pandemi, hasil penelitian ini juga memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengelola perguruan tinggi dalam menghadapi perubahan pendidikan di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Kebutuhan pelaku UMKM akan pengetahuan dan keahlian teknis dalam menggunakan pemasaran digital semakin meningkat karena pandemi Covid-19. Hal ini terjadi karena pembatasan sosial yang diberlakukan pemerintah mempengaruhi aktifitas bisnis. Oleh karena itu pemamfaatan pemasaran digital menjadi usaha untuk kelangsungan hidup dan perluasan UMKM di masa pandemi dan pasca pandemic Covid-19. Tetapi secara umum UMKM berhadapan dengan keterbatasan pengetahuan dan sumber daya daya dalam menggunakan pemasaran digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat pelaku UMKM di kota Bandung akan pelatihan pemasaran digital. Pelatihan selama 2 hari ini diikuti oleh 140 orang pelaku UMKM di Bandung secara daring dan luring. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan service learning, peserta antusias bertanya dan berdiskusi atas permasalahan spesifik yang mereka hadapi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memperlengkapi keahlian manajerial para pelaku UMKM dalam menggunakan pemasaran digital.

Abstract

Workplace stressed employees’ well-being because people have to work from home (WFH) and adapt to a new routine of work and life since Covid-19 struck the world. Employees who WFH increase their perception of more autonomous on how to handle their tasks, this is known as job autonomy. This study aimed to examine the relationship between job autonomy and well-being, and the mediating effects of job crafting on job autonomy and employees’ well-being during WFH in Covid-19 Pandemic. An online survey was conducted and there were 427 respondents involved. The model was analyzed using WarpPLS 7.0 and the results showed that no significant relationship was found between job autonomy and well-being. Moreover, job autonomy and job crafting are related as well as job crafting and well-being. Job crafting significantly mediate the relationship between job autonomy and well-being. This study showed that during WFH, employee experience an excessive degree of job freedom and it give them more work pressure and decrease employees' subjective well-being. In a conclusion, this study brings several concerns that organizations should be giving attention to.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang memberikan perubahan pada cara bekerja telah diprediksi mempengaruhi work-life balance karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh technostress pada work-life balance dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variable mediasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan 156 karyawan yang bekerja di perusahaan perbankan di Kota Jayapura. Hal ini dilakukan karena perusahaan di sektor perbankan juga mengalami tekanan untuk terus melakukan digital transformation. Hasil pengujian menemukan arah yang berbeda dengan temuan di penelitian sebelumnya. Technostress ditemukan memiliki arah positif terhadap work-life balance. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini juga tidak menemukan peran mediasi kepuasan kerja pada hubungan technostress dan work-life balance. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pemimpin organisasi dalam pengelolaan stres kerja karyawan secara khusus sebagai dampak dari intensitas penggunaan teknologi di dalam pekerjaan.

Abstract

Currently, government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations are encouraging growth and accelerating the transformation of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Mentoring and training are provided to answer the needs of MSMEs, one of which is financial management and financial literacy. This community service activity is given to MSMEs in Toba Regency as an online workshop. The participants are entrepreneurs from various industries who have started keeping financial records but are still experiencing problems in debt management. This workshop aims to enable entrepreneurs to become more proficient in financial management, including saving, separating personal and business finances, and managing capital and debt. The method taught is the AMPLOP method. (Anggaran, Menabung, Pembayaran, Laksanakan, Omongkan, Pencatatan). The AMPLOP method is a management technique that involves budgeting, saving, making payments, implementing plans, communicating about financial matters, and keeping records. Continuing these activities will ensure the role MSMEs play in creating jobs and fostering economic growth.  ---  Saat ini lembaga pemerintahan, institusi pendidikan, dan lembaga permasyarakatan mengambil bagian untuk mendorong pertumbuhan dan percepatan transformasi usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM) di Indonesia. Program-program pendampingan dan pelatihan diberikan untuk menjawab kebutuhan pelaku UMKM, salah satunya adalah kebutuhan mengenai pengelolaan keuangan dan literasi keuangan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diberikan kepada pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Toba dalam bentuk workshop secara daring. Peserta workshop adalah pelaku usaha dari berbagai industri yang sudah memulai melakukan pencatatan keuangan namun masih mengalami masalah dalam pengelolaan hutang. Workshop ini bertujuan untuk dapat memberdayakan dan mengedukasi pelaku usaha untuk lebih kompeten dalam pengelolaan keuangan seperti kemampuan menabung, memisahkan keuangan pribadi dan usaha, mengelola modal dan hutang. Adapun metode pengelolaan yang diajarkan adalah metode AMPLOP (Anggaran, Menabung, Pembayaran, Laksanakan, Omongkan, Pencatatan). Metode AMPLOP adalah teknik manajemen yang melibatkan anggaran, tabungan, membuat pembayaran, menerapkan rencana, berkomunikasi tentang hal-hal keuangan, dan menyimpan catatan. Kegiatan sejenis perlu terus dilakukan agar peran UMKM dalam penciptaan lapangan pekerjaan dan mendorong pertumbuhan perekonomian dapat terus terjadi.
