Abstract

There are several factors that influence learning, including teacher factors, student factors, facilities, tools and media, and the environment. Educators should pay attention to factors that influence learning. The task of the teacher in the learning process, in addition to conveying information, also diagnoses learning difficulties students select teaching materials, supervise learning activities, stimulate student learning activities, provide learning guidance using media, strategies, and methods. Teachers and students are required to master the science and information technology of communication continuously. Teachers need to keep abreast of the development of communication information and science so that they can deliver the latest learning material that is useful for the lives of students in the present and future. The thing that stands out in Swishmax is that the work can be exported into the SWF file format, which is the file format used by Macromedia Flash. Therefore, swishmax animations can be played on any personal computer that has a flash player installed. Swishmax animations can be inserted into web pages, or imported into macromedia flash documents or even in Microsoft Power Point documents. When compared to adobe flash, Swishmax is easier to learn and use for beginners, because the tools available are more user friendly. From the description above it can be concluded that Swishmax is not only multimedia software that is only capable of creating dynamic multimedia, but more than that, it is capable of displaying multimedia that is very interactive.

Abstract

Findings from the results of the author's interviews with Indonesian language lecturers as well as level 1 students of the D3 Nutrition Science Study Program of the Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health in Padang are, students have not been able to write news, because of the following things. First, they have the lack of students' ability in writing. Second, students are less able to develop the elements of building news. Third, ineffective learning media used by lecturers. Based on the aforementioned problems, the authors think it is important to carry out classroom action research aimed at improving the ability to write news with serial images of students of level 1 of the D3 Nutrition Science program at the Health Ministry of Health in Padang. The selection of this serial image media is thought to be appropriate for learning to write news, because through this image media students are motivated because the media can be touched, seen and observed. In addition, the use of image media is thought to be easy for students to understand so students will more easily express their ideas or ideas in writing news. This class was chosen because the ability to write news in learning is low when compared to other classes, this is evidenced by the acquisition of the results of the writing test exposition of semester I of the academic year 2017/2018. The type of this research is classroom action research with the research subject level 1 of the Nutrition D III Study Program with 39 students. The research was carried out in semester 2 of the 2018/2019 school year. Data collection tools used were student activity observation sheets and final tests. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive and analysis of learning outcomes. This research consisted of two cycles and each cycle was held twice. The results of the study in each cycle are pre-cycle with an average value of 70.87 students, the first cycle with an average value of 86.46 students and the second cycle 93.74, this shows student activity tends to increase. Furthermore, it was concluded that lectures on learning to write news with serial image media can increase the activity and learning outcomes of students in level 1 of the D III Nutrition Study Program of the Health Ministry of Health in Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development and influence of minimum wages and inflation on the number of poor people in Jambi province in 2001-2015. The method used in this study is the multiple linear regression analysis method with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) approach. The analytical tool used in this study was SPSS 23. In analyzing the factors that influence poverty in Jambi Province, the results show that the analysis for the analysis of the F test and the t test can be seen that the influence of the independent variable (Minimum Wage and Inflation) on the Number of Poor Populations in Jambi province simultaneously or together (F Test) affects the number of poor people. The calculated F value and F table 51.194> 3.89), with a significant level of 0.000 <0.05, there is a significant positive effect. For the t test of the minimum wage variable the value of t is calculated with t table of 7, 373> 2.170. The level of significance of the minimum wage variable (X1) is 0,000 <0.05 and for the t test of the inflation variable is 0.218 <2.17. The significant level of inflation variable (X2) is 0.831> 0.05.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the symptoms of students' unwillingness to answer questions about the lessons given, it is caused by the unwillingness of students to memorize the subject matter and visit the library to read. Through this research will be revealed the relationship of interest in reading to student achievement in social studies subjects and at what level the relationship of the most dominant reading interest felt by students towards their learning achievement in social studies subjects. The relationship of reading interest that is intended in this study is limited to the influence, contribution and benefits of reading fondness towards learning achievement in social studies subjects felt by students in school, reading interest is a motivating force that encourages students to focus their attention on reading activities is very large towards learning achievement, in social studies subjects. So it is assumed students will have a great interest in reading as well. The research was conducted at 38 Negeri IX Jambi Kecil Elementary School on 52 class IV, V and VI students selected as a research sample, namely 50% of 104 population students. Data collection techniques used in this study were using a questionnaire consisting of 39 items given directly to 52 respondents as research samples. Questionnaire test results are administered as a group and analyzed using percentage techniques. Based on the results of the study revealed that: Classification of interest in reading social studies books students is an average of 72.15%. From this data it can be concluded that the classification of the most dominant reading interests is at a high level. 1) Classification of student achievement is in social studies subjects are at an average of 7.19 from this data it can be concluded that the classification of student achievement is the most dominant is at a high level. 2) The relationship of interest in reading social studies books on student achievement in social studies subjects is moderate, namely 0.638. This means that the correlation is adequate. The conclusions from the results of the study indicate that there is an adequate relationship between interest in reading social studies books and student achievement in social studies subjects at SD Negeri No. 38 / IX Small Jambi. So to all parties responsible for increasing interest in reading students, especially elementary school students No. 38 / IX Jambi Minor should motivate students to increase their interest in reading. Because the relationship of reading interest felt by students towards learning achievement in social studies subjects will be more meaningful if followed by real activities.

Abstract

One of the rules of grammar carries out important rule that is using simple linking be. Linking Be shows existence or, as the case may be, nonexistence. This research was aimed to find out the students’ problems in completing sentence by using linking be at first grade of SMPN 1 Kerinci Academic Years 2018/2019 and the causes of the students’ problems in completing sentence by using linking be at first grade of SMPN 1 Kerinci Academic Years 2018/2019. The design of this research was descriptive research. The population was at the grade VII students of SMPN 1 Kerinci. There were 156 students which consisted of 7 classes as the population. This population was tested by using Bartlett test to make homogeneity. Then, the sample was VII B. The instruments were given grammar test in multiple choices as quantitative data and took interview as qualitative data. Moreover, it was also proven by the result of the total percentage of the students. There were 47% students who got very good, 26% students got good, 21.7% students got fair, 4.3% got weak and no student got poor  And mean score of the students was 75.6. Based on interview to students, there were some problems faced by the students’ in completing sentence by using linking be. They only made mistake in some cases. But they have learned and known which one to be is when they were asked to make sentence. Based on the result of data analysis, it was concluded that generally the students’ students’ problems in completing sentence by using linking be at first grade of SMPN 1 Kerinci was good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is: (a) To reveal the effect of Learning Learning Method on learning motivation. (b) Want to find out how far the motivation to learn after applying the Reinforcement Learning Method. This research uses action research as much as three rounds. Each round consists of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The targets of this study were students of Class XI Science 3 in SMA N 5 Kota Jambi.The data analysis technique used in this study is quantitative descriptive, which is a research method that is describing the facts or facts in accordance with the data obtained with the aim to find out the learning achievements of students as well as to obtain student responses to learning activities and student activities during the learning process . This analysis is calculated using simple statistics. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of analysts it was found that student achievement increased from cycle I to cycle III namely, cycle I (57%), cycle II (71%), cycle III (88%). The conclusion of this research is the Reinforcement method can positively influence the learning motivation of Grade XI students, and this learning model can be used as an alternative to Counseling Guidance.

Abstract

This research is qualitave descriptive reserach that aimed to explain; (1) The  transitivity structure of text of tale ji , (2) The Meaning of tale ji, and (3) Function of tale ji. The data are the texts of tale ji that uttered by the singers of tale Tanjung Pauh Hilir, Kerinci. This research was done through three steps: data collecting, data analysis, and data presentation.  Data collecting is used observational method in which tapping as the basic technique. The advance techniques used nonparticipant observational, recording, and note taking techniques. Data analysis used comparison (translational, referential, pragmatics) and distributional methods (deletion and assertion). The data presentation is formal and informal. Based on analysis, the researcher found that: 1) The structure of transitivity that construct the text of tale ji are: a. Process; material, mental, behavioral, verbal, and existential. b. Participant; goal, carrier, attributive, senser, actor, behavior, verbiage, owner, sayer, and receiver. c. Sirkumstance; manner, place, time. Alaa - alaa ii aa oon and alaa - la hu allooh which those functions are as musicallity, dzikir,and the borderer between lyrics of tale ji. 2) The meaning of tale ji are coneptual, affective, collocative, and contextual meaning. Conceptual meaning of tale ji is the representation of Islam teaching aplication. Affective meaning of tale ji is the mental representation between jamaah of hajj and society. Collocative meaning of tale ji is the representation of massages, hopes and praying of penale. Contextual meaning of tale ji is the representation of kinship. 3) The functions of tale ji are assertive, directive, comissive, and ekspressive.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of respondents and the influence of classroom management and interest in learning on student learning outcomes on the subjects of economy class X in SMA Negeri 8 Kota Jambi. Based on data analysis on the results of research that there is a significant influence between classroom management and interest in learning of student learning outcomes on the subjects of economy class X in SMA Negeri 8 Kota Jambi. With result of model summary R = 0,067 and R Square = 0,004. In ANOVA, the value of F = 69,368 with α (sig) = 0.003. Because α (Sig) <0.05, then regression can be used to predict classroom management and interest in learning at 95% confidence level. Based on the value of B constant for X, we can make a regression equation that is Y = a + X1 + X2 = 64,046 + 0,201 + 0,291. And, for t arithmetic X1 = 2.010, and t arithmetic X2 = 2.856 then t arithmetic> t table. This means that t count> t table. This means that the results of this t test indicate that the classroom management (X1) and interest in learning (X2) have a positive and significant impact on the learning outcomes (Y) of the students of class X economic subjects in SMA Negeri 8 Kota Jambi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the understanding of knowledge sharing on the achievements of students who carry out field experience. This research uses quantitative research methods with the research design used is descriptive research. The population was 176 students using a non probability sampling technique, so the sample of 64 students was calculated using the Slovin formula. Data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive statistics, classic assumption tests and linear regression analysis with the help of a computer program version 23. The results of this study use the t test, where knowladge sharing (X) has a positive value direction of 4.035 which has a value greater than t table of 1,671 with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05 which means that it has a significant effect. So it can be concluded that the understanding of knowledge sharing (X) affects the achievement of students who carry out field experience.

Abstract

In Kota Sungai Penuh, the existence of the incung script has actually been revitalized for its use by the Kerinci Government. Therefore, this study will analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the implementation of enchung in schools in Sungai Penuh City. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with primary data obtained by interviews and questionnaires from 20 respondents. Then the data are analyzed by using the Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) methods. The result is From the results and discussion described above, this research concludes that, from the analysis of Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT), there are strengths that are not too high compared to weaknesses, where the point of strength is only at the number 300. This means that the implementation of the Enchung script as a local content in Sungai Penuh City is still weak. To implementated of the Enchung script as local content in schools in Sungai Penuh City, it is recommended to provide a budget for the process of implementing the Enchung script local content program in Sungai Penuh City. Providing facilities and infrastructure, manuals and textbooks to support the teaching and learning process.
