Abstract

Children with learning disability are children who have disability in academic tasks caused by minimal brain dysfunction or in basic psychology, so that the learning achievement is not in accordance with the actual potential and to develop their potential optimally require special education. Learning disabilities that are internal [learning disability] and learning disabilities that are external [learning problem] show almost the same symptoms that is the disability in learning mathematics/dyscalculis, dyslexia and dysgraphia and the existence of difficulties in behavior. Therefore, to recognize the difficulty of learning can be done by looking for links between academic skills [dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculis] with pre-academic skills [linguistic awareness and basic cognitive process skills] through the identification process. After the identification then proceed with the assessment process to find out the needs of children who will be used in preparing individualized education program.

Abstract

This research purposed to know the differences of student cognitive critical thinking and psychomotor skills, along with knowing where was the better group between audio visual media and paper sheet in  student cognitive critical thinking and psychomotor skills as experiment guidelines . Critical thinking skills that analyzed were belonged to  priority, analyzed, synthesis, and evaluation aspects.This research was an quasi-experiment with the static pretest posttest group design. The populate was belonged to all student of XI IPA 1, XI IPA 3, and XI IPA 5. The sample was  given by cluster random sampling, and the result is XI IPA 1 as the group help by audio visual media, XI IPA 5 as paper sheet. The instruments  were  10 questions of critical thinking skill and psychomotor observation  sheet. Data were obtained  from posttest and psychomotor observation  scores. Data analyzing used independent sample T-test and different populate average estimation test.The results showed that there were differences of  student  cognitive critical thinking and psychomotor skills between of  the group that helped by audio visual media and paper sheet, along with the student cognitive critical thinking and psychomotor skills of audio visual media group are better than paper sheet, it was  because of the ranges of  different average populate estimation in cognitive aspect  was ranging from 0,1246 9,2313 and psychomotor was 7,752 12,906   for each α = 5%

Abstract

Teaching English as a foreign language to students with special needs is somewhat different of those mainstream students. The teachers may face lots of difficulties and therefore,  they must apply different techniques in teaching the students. The goal of this study is to figure out the techniques applied for Teaching English to students with special educational needs. This study is conducted in a Senior high school for students with special needs (SMALB) in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. The study is based on classroom observations and interview with the English teacher. The findings conclude that teacher applied six  different techniques in teaching English as follow; (1) transcription, (2) Question and Answer, (3) Repetition Drill, (4) Reading Aloud, (5) Memorization and (6) Reading aloud.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the application of assertive behavior by the teacher of Islamic Education Studies and to determine the results of the application in improving students’ achievement in SMPN 1 Godean. This research is a descriptive qualitative field research. The data collection methods were observation, documentation and interview. Furthermore, the data analysis were using the model of Miles and Huberman which are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicated that the behavior of Islamic Education Studies teacher is able to express the feelings well, sometimes expressed thoughts and beliefs openly and able to maintain the personal rights.  Based on those 3 components and 4 characteristics of assertive behavior, the teacher applied 2 components and 3 characteristics of assertive behavior. Thus, the results of the application of Islamic Education Studies teacher's assertive behavior made students in learning the subject were more contented and enthusiastic so that this has an effect on students’ achievement, as evidenced by the students’ high scores on final test which have an average value above the Minimum Standard Criteria (KKM).

Abstract

Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan tentang hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan bagaimana penggunaan bahasa baku dalam karya ilmiah mahasiswa. Ragam bahasa yang digunakan pada karya ilmiah adalah ragam baku tulis. Bahasa baku adalah bahasa standar yang digunakan dalam kalangan ilmiah. Ada kaidah-kaidah yang perlu dipenuhi dalam penulisan tersebut, yaitu sesuai dengan Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia Yang Disempurnakan (EYD).Hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan adalah penulisan huruf kapital dan miring, bentuk penyerapan kata asing, penggunaan kata yang tidak tepat situasinya, pemotongan kata, dan kata-kata mubazir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berkenaan [u1] dengan kajian bentuk fisik, jenis, dan fungsi mantra Banjar. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini ada 4, yakni: (1) bagaimanakah bentuk fisik mantra Banjar?, (2) bagaimanakah jenis mantra Banjar?, dan (3) bagaimanakah fungsi mantra Banjar?. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk fisik mantra Banjar, jenis mantra Banjar dan fungsi mantra Banjar.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan mengunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan metode deskriptif, yaitu memecahkan masalah dengan mengumpulkan data, menyusun data, mengklasifikasikan data, menganalisis data dan melaporkan hasil penelitian. Data-data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan metode kepustakaan dan wawancara yang kemudian data tersebut dianalisis dengan mengunakan analisis deskriptif. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui ketekunan pengamatan peneliti dengan mengkonsultasikan kepada orang yang ahli dalam bidang tersebut.Berdasarkan deskripsi pada analisis data yang telah dipaparkan dalam penjelasan ini, diperoleh simpulan, yakni (1) ciri-ciri bentuk mantra Banjar yang berhasil diinventarisasikan dalam penelitian ini ada 5 pola, yakni 1 Pola mantra Banjar berbentuk puisi bebas (MBBB) sebanyak 8 buah, 2 Pola mantra Banjar berbentuk terikat 1 (MBBT 1) sebanyak 6 buah, 3 pola mantra Banjar berbentuk terikat 2 (MBBT 2) sebanyak 6 buah, pola mantra Banjar berbentuk terikat 3 (MBBT 3) sebanyak 5 buah, pola mantra Banjar berbentuk terikat 4 (MBBT  14) sebanyak 15 buah, (2) jenis-jenis mantra Banjar yang berhasil diinventariskan sebanyak 12 jenis, yakni Kariau (4 buah), Kasumbi (4 buah), Mamang (3 buah), Pakasih (2 buah), Pambanci (2 buah), Pambungkam (1 buah), Panawar (5 buah), Panulak (2 buah), Papikat (5 buah), Pikaras (4 buah), Pirunduk (5 buah), Sumpah Sarapah (3 buah), (3) fungsi mantra Banjar berhasil diinventariskan sebanyak 12 buah, yakni Kr (4 buah), Ks (4 buah), Mm (3 buah), Ps (2 buah), Pb (2 buah), Pm (1 buah), Pn (5 buah), Pl (2 buah), Pk (5 buah), Pr (4 buah), Pd (5 buah)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap mata pelajaran fisika melalui indikator adopsi sikap ilmiah, ketertarikan dalam memperbanyak waktu belajar fisika dan ketertarikan berkarir dibidang fisika di SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra Kota Jambi. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian survei dengan  instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 125 siswa. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh dari indikator adopsi sikap ilmiah dengan kategori baik berpersentase 55.2%. Indikator ketertarikan dalam memperbanyak waktu belajar fisika dan ketertarikan berkarir dibidang fisika berkategori cukup berpersentase 72% dan 68%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, siswa di SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra Kota Jambi memiliki sikap yang cukup terhadap fisika.

Abstract

The moral value conveyed by the author to the reader through works of fiction especially novels is useful and useful to the reader. This study aims to describe the moral values associated with social messages and expose the moral values associated with the religious message contained in the novel Tasawuf Cinta by M. Hilmi As'ad. The method used in this research is analytic descriptive method. The results of this study indicate the moral values associated with social messages are: (1) social in social life; (2) relations between human beings of religion, and (3) association between the opposite sex. The moral values associated with the religious message are: (1) the relationship of man and God; (2) human nature and conscience; (3) the personal freedom that man possesses; And (4) the dignity and dignity of each individual.

Abstract

The research instrument is a tool used to collect data or measure objects of a research variable. To obtain the correct data for the conclusion that is in accordance with the actual situation, then required a valid instrument and consistent and appropriate in providing data of research result. Instrument reliability tests to include test-retest, equivalent, and internal consistency. Internal consistency tests have several testing techniques depending on the type of instrument. Testing techniques included split half test, KR 20, KR 21, and Alfa Cronbach. The value of the validity and reliability of an instrument is influenced by the measured subject, the instrument user, and the instrument itself. Sehinggga, validity and reliability must always be tested before the instrument is used.

Abstract

The evaluation instrument or evaluation tool is a tool that meets academic requirements, so that it can be used as a measuring tool or data collection about a variable. Based on the results of the analysis of the need for evaluation instruments used by educators in learning, the teacher still uses paper and google forms for evaluation. This research aims to develop a Wordwall-based evaluation instrument and to determine student responses to wordwall-based evaluation instruments. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used is the Borg and Gall model adapted by Sugiyono with 8 stages consisting of needs analysis, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, small-scale testing, product revision and user testing. The results of the development of a wordwall-based evaluation instrument for class VII junior high school science subjects obtained values from the validation of material, media and language experts of 80%, 98.5% and 96.65% with very feasible categories. Whereas for the results of the trial use, the average result of the student's questionnaire response was 87.9% with the very interesting instrument category.
