Abstract

The use of organic fertilizers anticipates the negative impact of using inorganic fertilizers on the environment. Research on the use of rice washing water mixed with Trichoderma sp fungus as organic fertilizer to increase the growth of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum) aims to determine the utilization of rice washing water mixed with Trichoderma sp fungus  as organic fertilizer to increase the growth of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum). The study used 4 different concentrations of treatment and as a control only used sterile distilled water. Based on the results of the study that the different treatments gave different results. The control treatment gave the lowest yield on tomato plant growth which included plant height and number of leaves compared to the treatment with rice washing water mixed with Trichoderma sp. The application of rice washing water mixed with Trichoderma sp fungus was proven to increase the growth of tomato plants.

Abstract

The research location is in Gorontalo City. The location is an area that has geological structural conditions of high complexity. The study used statistical analysis of the robustness data to determine the direction of the firmness and the RQD (rock quality designation) value. The research objectives consist of two, namely knowing the direction of the stress (the main force of tectonic formation) and knowing the RQD value based on the analysis of joint data. To achieve these two objectives, it is carried out with a research method in the form of an inductive method. This method combines the results of a literature review, previous research and field data, all of which are comprehensively studied, analyzed, and synthesized. Statistical analysis (fan diagram) on joint data on granite rocks in Gorontalo City. The results and discussion resulted in the direction of maximum stress (τ1) = N 15oE and the direction of minimum stress (τ3) = N 75oW. The rock RQD value is 40.60% so that the rock quality in this research area is classified as moderate. The results of the measurement of the joint spacing at this station are obtained from a distance of (5-10) cm, so it is included in the weak scale so that the joint space strongly supports the occurrence of landslides.

Abstract

BBTV is one of the important diseases in banana plants, the transmission of BBTV can be carried out by Pentalonia nigronervosa. In some banana plantations infected plants are usually cut down because they are considered unable to produce optimal production. The felled plants will then be placed around healthy plantations, this situation is thought to have the potential as a place for P. nigronervosa to temporarily live and spread the virus to other healthy plants. This study aims to determine the ability of dead plants that host P. nigronervosa to re-transmit the virus to healthy plants. The study was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with six treatments on the day of death of infected plants, namely, 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 days, with five replications. From the results of the study, it was found that plants infected by BBTV still had potential to transmit the virus to healthy plants through the P. nigronervosa. Transmission of BBTV from dead plants on the fifth day resulted in the highest average of BBTV infection. The incubation period of virus in plants ranged from 30-53 days after inoculation. From this research, it is hoped that farmers will pay more attention to thoroughly eradicate banana plants infected by BBTV, removed all plant and suckers thoroughly together with their corms.

Abstract

Gambas (Luffa acutangula L.) atau oyong merupakan famili dari Cucurbitae, yang berasal dari India dan telah beradaptasi di Asia Tenggara salah satunya Indonesia. Gambas sangat digemari oleh masyarakat, sehingga kebutuhan gambas meningkat. Akan tetapi, di dalam budidaya gambas sering sekali mengalami gangguan oleh hama dan penyakit. Sehingga produksi gambas menurun akibat serangan tersebut. Serangga yang terdapat pada gambas memiliki beragam dan memiliki peranan masing-masing. Keberadaan serangga pada lahan pertanian dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor biotik dan faktor abiotik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman serangga pada tanaman gambas (Luffa acutangula  L.) dilahan dengan pola tanam monokultur dan dilahan tumpang sari. Metode pengamatan serangga ini dengan menggunakan metode Scan sampling dan Pantrap. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat 5 ordo serangga yang terdiri dari ordo Diptera, Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera, Orthoptera dan Hemiptera. Keanekaragaman serangga pada lahan monokultur dan polikultur tidak berbeda pada pengamatan langsung tergolong rendah, sedangkan menggunakan perangkap pada masing-masing lahan tergolong sedang.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian perairan di anak Sungai Ogan untuk kegiatan budidaya ikan dengan menggunakan Keramba Jaring Apung (KJA). Penentuan lokasi penelitian dengan metode purposive sampling yang menetapkan empat lokasi yaitu desa Indralaya Mulya, desa Tanjung Seteko, desa Muara Penimbung Ilir dan desa Suka Merindu di Kecamatan Indralaya Kabupaen Ogan Ilir. Pengambilan sampel air dilakukan satu kali dalam sebulan selama 4 bulan (Februari, Maret, April dan Juni 2018). Pengukuran kualitas air secara in situ di lapangan dan eksitu di analisis di laboratorium kimia perairan BRPPU Palembang dengan parameter; suhu, kecerahan, kedalaman, kekeruhan, kecepatan arus, padatan tersuspensi total (TSS) yang termasuk dalam parameter fisika. pH air, oksigen terlarut, amonia, fosfat, nitrit, dan Nitrat yang termasuk ke dalam parameter kimia. Penelitian menggunakan metode skoring atau pembobotan yang telah disesuaikan dengan lingkungan perairan sungai, dimana skoring dilakukan untuk memberikan nilai pada parameter yang mendukung berkembangnya kegiatan budidaya ikan dengan KJA. Hasil skoring di keempat stasiun  masuk ke dalam kategori S2 (sesuai), sedangkan untuk pengamatan kualitas air, hanya ada satu parameter yang tidak sesuai (N) yaitu pH. Walaupun begitu lokasi tetap dapat digunakan untuk kegiatan budidaya ikan dengan KJA tetapi hanya untuk ikan-ikan budidaya yang mampu bertahan di pH yang rendah.

Abstract

Araceous plants can serve as alternative host to banana aphid Pentalonia nigronervosa. Research has been conducted to study the effects of Araceous plant species on the efficiency of Banana Bunchy Top Virus (BBTV) transmission by P. nigronervosa as the main vector of the virus. The research was an experiment conducted in Experimental Garden, Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University from November 2021 to April 2022. The experiment was conducted using 7 species of Araceous plant and one genotype of banana. The results of the research showed that, when serving as alternataive host of P. nigronervosa, all Araceous plants had no effect on the efficiency of BBTV transmission by the aphid. Viruliverous P. nigronervosa    did not lose their virus particles in their body and still had ability to transmit the virus ehen they were transferred from Araceous plant to healthy banana.In cubation period ranged from 25-37,6 days after inoculation and the symptoms appeared mostly on  young leaves.

Abstract

The hyper-redundant type of robot is a type of robot that in carrying out its duties in the field of kinematics its degrees of freedom exceed the required minimum degrees. The advantage will be increased capability in operation and performance, if the degrees of freedom are excessive, even in unorganized and complex systems and environments. Algebraic approach method in inverse kinematics algorithm analysis can use; analytic algebra, jacobian basis, analytic KI, exponential multiplication, grobner, and conformal geometry. Iterative approach method in inverse kinematics algorithm analysis can use; genetic algorithm, fuzzy logic, ANFIS, and evolutionary algorithm. The geometric approach method in the inverse kinematics algorithm analysis can use; capital method. The purpose of this study is to analyze a virtual 2 arm robot, which will use axis manipulation in three dimensions using an inverse kinematics solution, using a geometric approach. How to step along on the z axis by rotating and using the reverse kinematics solution to the desired location. The visualization results will be repeated so as to ensure the effectiveness of the algorithm. As for this algorithm will provide a single solution, and this algorithm will prevent and reduce singularities if the link is lower.

Abstract

Sungsang Village is located at the mouth of the Musi River making this area dense with settlements and transportation activities, this contributes to damage and results in decreased water quality. This study aims to analyze the concentrations of Pb and Cd in water, sediment and white shrimp (Penaeus merguiensis) and examine the level of accumulation of Pb and Cd through the BCF values of Pb and Cd in white shrimp (Penaeus merguiensis) in water and sediment in the waters of Sungsang I Village. Results the study showed that the average concentration of Pb in water in the waters of Sungsang I Village was 0.104 mg/L, exceeding the threshold value in Kep.Minister of State for the Environment No. 51 of 2004. The average Pb content in sediments is 24.892 mg/Kg, still below the quality standards of the Guidelines for the Protection and Management of Aquatic Sediment Quality in Ontario. The average concentration of Pb in jerbung shrimp is 0.809 mg/Kg, this value exceeds the limit set by BPOM. The results of the Cd test showed that the average water content, sediment, and jerbung shrimp were 0.013 mg/L, 0.174 mg/Kg and 0.127 mg/Kg. The BCF Pb value of shrimp-sediment was 7.779 and BCF Pb of shrimp-sediment was 0.033. The BCF Cd of shrimp-sediments was 9.769 and the BCF Cd of shrimp-sediments was 0.730. The Pb and Cd bioconcentration values of the jerbung shrimp (Penaeus merguiensis) in water and sediment are included in the low accumulative category, because the BCF value is <100.

Abstract

The number of aquaculture households in Palembang City continues to increase from 2017 only 682 households to 1,050 households in 2018. But on the contrary in terms of the amount of aquaculture production, the total production decreased by 24,259 tons in 2014 and only 20,327 tons in 2017 (BPS, 2018). One of the steps that can be taken to determine the condition of aquaculture in Palembang is by doing forecasting. This is useful for knowing or predicting the results of aquaculture production with precise accuracy. This study aims to determine the prediction of aquaculture production in Palembang City using the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method. The results of the ACF and PACF plots show that both plots have a tail off pattern. the predictive model obtained is ARIMA (1,0,1) but after over fitting the model, the ARIMA model (2,0,1) is the best model because it has the smallest MAPE value, which is 48,30. Based on the ARIMA model (2,0.1), the forecast values for aquaculture production in Palembang City from 2021 to 2030 are 19542,598 tons, 12846,331 tons, 50682,093 tons, 43389,831 tons, 15352,492 tons. , 9595,313 tons, 26140,949 tons, 36258,543 tons, 29041,898 tons, and 19548.050 tons

Abstract

Rancangan percobaan merupakan serangkaian uji yang bertujuan mengamati dan mengidentifikasi perubahan-perubahan pada output respon disebabkan oleh perubahan-perubahan pada variabel input dari suatu proses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan rancangan terbaik untuk peningkatan kadar SiO2. Silikon Dioksida (SiO2) merupakan salah satu mineral yang paling banyak ditemukan di bumi. SiO2 banyak digunakan di berbagai bidang sehingga ketersediaannya semakin berkurang. Prosedur kemurnian dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemurnian silika yang memiliki kualitas rendah dengan mengubah suhu dan laju kenaikan suhu. Metode yang digunakan adalah desain G-optimal menggunakan algoritma Variable Neighborhood Search (VNS). Model yang digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemurnian silikon dioksida adalah model non-linier yang mengikuti distribusi eksponensial decay. Titik rancangan terbaik yang diperoleh dari rancangan G-optimal pada hubungan antara suhu (oC) dan laju kenaikan suhu (oC/menit) yaitu titik  800 ­oC  hingga 900 ­oC adalah kombinasi titik  800 ­oC dan 1,67 oC/menit, 800 ­oC dan 2,17 oC/menit, 815 oC dan 4,67 oC/menit, 825 ­oC dan 4,17 oC/menit, 835 ­oC dan 5 oC/menit, 855 ­oC dan 2,17 oC/menit, 880 ­oC dan 2,34 oC/menit, 895 ­oC dan 4,67 oC/menit,  serta 900 oC dan 4 oC/menit dengan nilai G-efisiensinya adalah 96,09%.
