Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of social support on academic stress with self-efficacy as a mediating variable. The sample was 120 respondents using Non-Probability sampling technique. The data collection method used a questionnaire. The data analysis tool used was Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 26.0. The results of the study showed that: (1) Partial significance test shows that social support does not affect academic stress; social support has a significant effect on self-efficacy; self-efficacy does not affect academic stress; social support affects academic stress through self-efficacy. (2) Mediation test: self-efficacy is able to mediate the effect of social support on academic stress. (3) Simple linear regression equation Y = 18.592 + 0.216X; result (R-Square) of 0.023 or 2.3%, this shows that social support influences academic stress by 2.3%, while the remaining 97.7% is influenced by other variables outside this study. (4) Simple linear regression equation M = 27.088 + 0.211X; result (R-Square) of 0.085 or 8.5%, this shows that social support influences self-efficacy by 8.5%, while the remaining 91.5% is influenced by other variables outside this study. (5) Simple linear regression equation Y = 23.670 + 0.056M; result (R-Square) of 0.001 or 1%, this shows that self-efficacy influences academic stress by 1%, while the remaining 99% is influenced by other variables outside this study.

Among them, work motivation and job satisfaction play significant roles in shaping employee behavior and outcomes. However, the role of competency as mediating variable in this relationship has not been thoroughly explored. This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of job training and motivation on employee performance, with competency serving as a mediating variable.  This research uses a quantitative approach, involving 184 employees selected through probability sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling. The results indicate that job training not has direct effect (P = 0.207). However motivation (P = 0.001) has a direct, significant effect on employee performance. Likewise, job training (P = 0.040) and motivation (P = 0.000) has a direct influence on competency. Competency has a significant impact on performance (P = 0,000), and it mediates the effect of job training (P = 0.049) and motivation (P = 0.000) on employee performance. Competency plays a crucial mediating role in translating job training into improved employee performance

Abstract

This study examines the influence of financial literacy, overconfidence, firm image, and self-control on investment decisions, with risk tolerance included as a mediating variable for financial literacy and overconfidence. Data were collected from 180 respondents using a questionnaire and analyzed through Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The findings indicate that financial literacy, overconfidence, and self-control have a positive impact on individual investment decisions. In contrast, firm image and risk tolerance show a positive but insignificant effect. Furthermore, risk tolerance does not mediate the relationship between financial literacy and overconfidence on investment decisions. These results can help investors better understand their capabilities and personality traits when making financial decisions. Additionally, the study highlights the importance for policymakers and financial educators to improve financial literacy and address behavioral aspects influencing investment behavior. Enhancing both knowledge and mindset is essential for empowering individuals to make more informed and rational investment choices.

Abstract

Nurses play a vital role in hospital services, yet high workload, job stress, and low motivation may reduce performance. This study aimed to analyze the effect of motivation, workload, and job stress on the performance of inpatient nurses at BaliMed Hospital Karangasem. The research used a quantitative approach with a descriptive-verificative design. The sample consisted of 71 nurses determined by saturated sampling. Data were collected using validated and reliable questionnaires, then analyzed with multiple linear regression. The results showed that motivation had a positive and significant effect on performance, while workload and job stress had negative and significant effects. Simultaneously, all three variables significantly affected performance with an R² value of 90.6%. The study concludes that motivation, workload, and job stress are dominant factors influencing nurse performance. It is suggested that hospital management improve motivation, balance workload, and manage stress through organizational support to maintain optimal service quality.

The data source used in the study is data obtained from the annual financial statements of construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023. The study used 85 sample data from 17 companies for 5 years of research. Sampling using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. To measure the effect of the sample, the classic assumption test analysis, panel data regression analysis and the coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing using common effect model. The results showed that financial stability, nature of industry, change in auditor, change of directors and financial statement fraud can explain financial statement fraud. The results of each variable show that only the nature of the industry has a significant effect on financial statement fraud, while financial stability, change in auditor and change of directors have no significant effect on financial statement fraud.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the cash waqf fundraising system conducted through digital transaction services in Indonesia. This study uses a systematic literatur review. The results of this study indicate that the realization of cash waqf fundraising is still relatively small, at 1,8% compared to the cash waqf target set by the Indonesian Waqf Board. Factors causing the low realization of waqf fundraising are the relatively low public literacy about waqf, weak management and development of waqf by nazir in a modern way, and the majority of waqf asset management in Indonesia is allocated for social purposes. Abstract

This study examines the influence of sustainable finance on financial inclusion and green accounting, with the mediating roles of social performance and investment risk in renewable energy companies in Indonesia. A quantitative approach was employed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS), with data collected from 30 renewable energy firms. The results reveal that sustainable finance significantly enhances the adoption of green accounting practices and broadens financial inclusion. Furthermore, social performance and investment risk serve as strong mediating variables in these relationships. The findings highlight the importance of integrating sustainable financial strategies to build transparent environmental reporting systems and strengthen access to formal financial services. This research proposes an integrative model linking five key variables in support of Indonesia’s green economic transition and provides both theoretical and practical contributions to the development of corporate sustainability frameworks in the renewable energy sector.
