Abstract

Consumer Cyclicals is a sector that is greatly influenced by changes in the economic cycle. Companies in this sector, such as those engaged in automotive, durable consumer goods, tourism, entertainment, and retail, tend to experience increased demand when economic conditions improve and decline during recessions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect profitability in Consumer Cyclicals companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of associative research. The results of this study show that factors such as leverage, company size, liquidity, and sales growth have a significant influence on the profitability of companies in the Consumer Cyclicals sector listed on the IDX. Low leverage, as seen in PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (DER 0.5 and ROE 12%), contributed to higher profitability. Company size also plays a role, with large companies such as PT Indomaret (market capitalization of IDR 50 trillion and ROA of 7%) showing better performance. In addition, high liquidity (PT MAP Aktif Adiperkasa Tbk, current ratio of 2.0 and ROE of 11%) and stable sales growth also support the company's profitability. Companies with good governance and cost efficiency, such as PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk, also showed better performance (GCG score of 85 and net profit margin of 8%). Therefore, companies in this sector need to focus on managing their capital structure, liquidity, and innovation to ensure their continuity and profitability growth

Abstract

Detecting fraudulent financial statements in Indonesia’s property, real estate, and construction sector during 2017–2023, this study adopts the Fraud Hexagon Theory with the moderating role of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). The six fraud elements are measured using the following proxies: personal financial need (pressure), effective monitoring (opportunity), auditor change (rationalization), director change (capability), CEO duality (arrogance), and political connection (collusion). GCG is examined as a moderator to assess whether it strengthens or weakens the relationship between these fraud factors and financial statement fraud. A total of 205 observations from 34 IDX-listed firms were analyzed using multiple linear regression and moderation analysis via SPSS version 26. The results show that none of the six fraud hexagon components have a significant direct effect on fraudulent financial statements. However, GCG is found to moderate and weaken the influence of political connections on financial fraud, though it fails to moderate other fraud elements. This suggests that while GCG can serve as a safeguard against politically driven fraud, it is not consistently effective across all fraud dimensions. Future research should refine fraud detection models by exploring alternative variables and enhancing the operationalization of fraud proxies within the Fraud Hexagon framework.

Abstract

This study was conducted to describe the influence of Person-Organization Fit and Person-Job Fit on Job Satisfaction among employees of BPR Duta Artha Sejahtera. The research method used was quantitative, with a sample of 36 employees selected from the entire population. Data collection was carried out through literature review, observation, interviews, and questionnaires, which served as guidelines for conducting interviews. The data analysis technique employed was multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 24. The results of the study indicate that both Person-Organization Fit and Person-Job Fit have a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously

Abstract

To determine how sales incentive systems impact salespeople's ethical behavior, consumer perceptions of the firm, and consumer perceptions of banking products, an investigation was conducted at bank financial institutions. The study was conducted in Indonesian cities. A total of 231 people were surveyed who were aware of the sales force reward system through purposive sampling method. The results of data processing using structural equation models show that the salesperson reward system affects the ethical behavior of salespeople. As this study finds, there is a relationship between marketing management and human resource management. This is the only independent variable related to human resource management. The two variables are the salesperson ethical behavior system and the salesperson reward system, so the strategy of creating consumer perception depends on the company's HR management elements.

Abstract

The company is Focus Technology LLC, main focus is ‘Made-in-China.com’, as this object research, which was founded in 1996. The research method and analysis used in this research are the Mixed Method, which is a research method that integrates quantitative and qualitative methods. The data sources in this research consist of: 1) Primary data, namely data obtained from the field or data sourced from informants; 2) Secondary data is data obtained through books, notes, documents, or literature in other readings that are used as theory. The result of research is discoveries that provide answers to problems, namely the integral score of the financial condition of the economic management system method. This research aims to present and analyse related financial risk management in digital companies. The integration of technology companies, such as digital business and e-commerce, will bring initial changes to the way a technology company identifies, measures, and manages financial risks. Conclusions about this research are presented, and recommendations to improve the activities of the organisation are considered. Current liabilities remained unchanged at around RMB 1 billion or approximately $ 137 million in both years. This indicates the stability of the company's financial position and its ability to manage its liabilities.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the extent to which product quality, product variety, and Word of Mouth influence consumer purchasing decisions, in order to help Distro Polka Space in improving its marketing strategy. This study uses a quantitative approach, the data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire distributed to 90 Distro Polka Space consumers. The results of this study indicate that product quality, product variety, and word of mouth simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on purchasing decisions of Polka Space consumers. Consumers tend to make purchases when the product has good quality, a variety of choices that match trends, and get positive recommendations from others. Therefore, Distro Polka Space is advised to continue to improve the quality and variety of its products and encourage the spread of positive consumer experiences through social media to strengthen purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and analyze the effect of job stress, boredom, and workplace ostracism on job performance, with cyberloafing behavior as a moderating variable, on Riau Islands Provincial Government employees. The approach used is quantitative, involving the distribution of questionnaires to 1,200 employees from 12 Regional Apparatus that experienced a decrease in SAKIP scores in 2023. The sample size consisted of 300 employees, determined using the Slovin formula calculation. Data analysis was carried out using SmartPLS version 3.0 software with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The research findings show: (1) Job Stress has a positive and significant influence on Job Performance; (2) Boredom has a negative and significant influence on Job Performance; (3) Workplace Ostracism has a negative and significant impact on Job Performance; (4) cyberloafing behavior has no moderating effect on the relationship between job stress and Job Performance; (5) cyberloafing behavior moderately strengthens the relationship between Boredom and Job Performance significantly; and (6) cyberloafing behavior moderately weakens the relationship between Workplace Ostracism and Job Performance significantly

Abstract

This study evaluates the influence of digital marketing strategies and face-to-face interaction on consumer purchase decisions in start-up companies in West Java, with consumer preferences as a moderating variable. Employing a mixed-method approach, the research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for quantitative data analysis and thematic interviews for qualitative insights. The findings reveal that both strategies have a positive and significant impact on purchase decisions. Face-to-face interaction proves to have a stronger influence in building trust and increasing purchase intention, while digital marketing strategies are effective in generating initial awareness. Consumer preferences moderate the impact of face-to-face interaction, indicating that personal experiences are favored by the majority of consumers. These findings support the theories of Customer Engagement and Trust-Building, and highlight the importance of an omnichannel approach that integrates both digital and in-person strategies to create a holistic consumer experience. The study recommends that start-ups adopt integrated marketing strategies to enhance customer loyalty and campaign effectiveness. Future research may explore the role of advanced technologies in strengthening this integration and their impact on consumer behavior. Abstract

Skill Development Center is one of the priority programs aimed at overcoming employment problems. Academic (training institutions), business (industrial world), government (government), and community (professional association) are the four key entities that are stakeholders in enhancing HR capability. Analyzing how well the SDC program works to lower educated unemployment in Surakarta City is the aim of this study. This study employed a qualitative literature study approach as its research methodology. Investigating the state of natural objects is known as qualitative research. The Surakarta City Central Statistics Agency's data documentation, the Surakarta City Manpower Office's data, and scholarly publications were the data collecting methods employed in this study. The Surakarta City Central Statistics Agency's (BPS) official statistics data serves as the primary source of information. The policy implementation theory of Van Meter and Van Horn (1975) is applied in this study. This theory describes the elements that affect how well public policies work, including the policy's goals and scale, available resources, interorganizational communication, the traits of implementing agents, social, political, and economic circumstances, and the attitudes of implementers. The SDC program is able to reduce the number of educated unemployed in Surakarta City, because the unemployment rate has decreased in the past three years.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of environmental performance and institutional ownership through financial performance on firm value in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses secondary data in the form of annual financial reports of energy companies listed on the IDX for the period 2019 to 2024 and environmental performance rating (PROPER) data taken from the Ministry of Forestry and Environment. The sample taken was 18 energy sector companies and the analytical technique used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis
