Abstract

The Serang City Environmental Agency is a government institution that has the function and responsibility of maintaining environmental sustainability caused by human activities, both individually and collectively. The inquiry's purport resides in scrutinizing the modulatory effects of verdant human resource management, ethical stewardship, and corporate ethos upon organizational fealty, which in turn impinges upon perdurable productivity. A causal paradigm underpinned by quantitative modalities governed this research. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) facilitated data adjudication. Stratified aleatory sampling procured 100 respondents for the cohort. Verdant HRM stratagems were discerned to augment organizational allegiance, albeit sans direct incidence upon sustainable laborer efficacy. Ethical leadership substantially fortified both fealty and perdurable performance. Analogously, corporate ethos exerted propitious sway upon employee devotion, yet proffered no succor for sustained accomplishment. Ergo, organizational commitment was evinced as the pivotal moderator traversing verdant HRM, ethical leadership, corporate ethos, and laborer performance nexuses.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial leadership on SME performance, evaluate the mediating role of interpersonal communication, and assess the contribution of entrepreneurial characteristics in strengthening the relationship between leadership and performance. A quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to owners, managers, or leaders of engineering SMEs in Karawang Regency and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to examine both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial leadership has a significant influence on entrepreneurial characteristics, which subsequently mediate the effect of leadership on SME performance, while interpersonal communication contributes positively to performance but is not proven to mediate the relationship between leadership and performance. Entrepreneurial characteristics are identified as the dominant factor in improving SME performance. Theoretically, this study reinforces the central role of entrepreneurial characteristics in the mechanism linking leadership and performance, while practically, the findings provide a foundation for the development of training programs, mentoring strategies, and capacity-building initiatives aimed at enhancing competitiveness, innovation, and business sustainability of SMEs in the engineering sector.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of financial literacy, investment motivation, risk perception, information technology, accessibility, trust, and lifestyle on the investment behavior of students in Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Terbuka. This study is quantitative research with primary data and uses multivariate analysis techniques. The results show that financial literacy, investment motivation, information technology, and trust have positive and significant effect on investment behavior. Meanwhile, risk perception, accessibility, and lifestyle have insignificant impact on investment behavior. This is because students make investments not based on risk perception and ease of accessibility, but rather based on assumptions about the future economy. Lifestyle does not affect their investment behavior because majority of students are proritizing their daily needs.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of transformational leadership and work environment on employee performance with motivation as a mediating variable at PT. Marhum Roda Mas Abadi. This study uses a quantitative approach with interviews and questionnaires distributed to company employees as the main data collection instruments. Data analysis uses path analysis techniques with a second-order confirmatory approach to test the relationship between variables. The analysis method used is partial least squares (PLS) using the SmartPLS 4.0 program. The population consists of employees of PT. Marhum Roda Mas Abadi, while the sample for this study consists of 203 permanent employees selected using purposive sampling with the criteria of permanent employees who are directly affected by transformational leadership without involving outsourcing and manual labourers. The validity test used Average Variance Extracted (AVE) and the reliability test was conducted by calculating Cronbach's Alpha and Composite Reliability (CR) values. This study shows that transformational leadership and work environment have a positive effect on performance, and transformational leadership and work environment also affect motivation. This study provides evidence that there is a mediating role of Motivation in the relationship between Transformational Leadership, Work Environment and Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential and mapping of local human resources (HR) in the development of a community-based palm sugar industry cluster in Otam Village. The method used was Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) through participatory interviews, focus group discussions, and field observations. The collected data were then analyzed using a SWOT analysis. The results show that local HR in Otam Village has advantages in the form of traditional skills in sap tapping and palm sugar processing, as well as a culture of mutual cooperation that strengthens the community base. Weaknesses identified include limited business management, access to appropriate technology, and low marketing literacy. In terms of opportunities, the increasing demand for organic palm sugar in local and national markets opens up space for joint business development, while the main threats come from price fluctuations, competition with substitute products, and limited policy support. These findings confirm that the development of a palm sugar industry cluster in Otam Village requires a strategy to strengthen human resource capacity through technical training, business management, and digital-based marketing innovation. In addition, local institutional support and external partnerships are needed to strengthen the community's competitive position.
