Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of discipline and work motivation on employee performance at PT SiCepat Ekspres in Batam. Quantitative research is a type of research with a population of 110 people. Questionnaire is an instrument used for data collection. The sampling technique used a saturated sample, meaning that all of the population was sampled. data processing using SPSS version 26 with the results of the study it is known that discipline has a arithmetic value > t table that is 3.424 > 1.65922 with a significance of 0.001 < 0.05 which means that discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while work motivation tcount > t table namely 6.062 > 1.65922 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05, which means that monkey motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. And motivation and discipline together have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This is indicated by the results of the F test with a value of (F count) 54,984 > 2.69 (F table) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. And the value of R square is 0.507.

Abstract

The accounting profession faces a threat in the form of ending accounting when the digital era emerges. This research then aims to see how the relationship exists between the technology of the accounting profession and strategies in the accounting profession during the digital era. This research will be carried out using a qualitative approach as well as data obtained from the results of previous research and studies that are still relevant. This study found that an accountant must adapt to this digitalization system in the digitalization era. The accountant profession also has new competitors, namely programmers and the technology it has in carrying out the work of the previous assistant. As for the academic field, accounting majors need to study information systems more actively to improve the accounting profession. In addition, learning from case studies also needs to be reproduced to provide creative thinking to make decisions so that the results can create an accountant profession that is ready in the digital era.

Abstract

The emergence of MSME actors contributes to the Indonesian economy. But unfortunately, many MSME actors still have difficulties managing their finances. This is due to their lack of accounting knowledge, so it isn’t easy to make good financial reports. This study aims to see how the understanding of nutmeg SMEs regarding their expertise in accounting for financial statements. This research will then use a qualitative approach as the method. The data used in this study came from various studies and previous studies that are still relevant to this research. After the research data is collected, the data will be analyzed to find the results. This study found that there were financial reports or bookkeeping records by MSME actors even though the form was still relatively simple. Then because the level of education is still primarily low, these MSME actors still find it challenging to make excellent and standard financial reports.

Abstract

Economic growth is the main condition for increasing the standard of living of a country. Economic growth of a region is not only seen from the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) as a reference for regional welfare, it is also seen from the Human Development Index (HDI). The Human Development Index is an indicator that covers several qualities of human life, namely education, health and the laborforce. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of education, health and labor force variables on economic growth in Java Island. The analytical technique used in this study is a multiple liner regression analysis. The data used in this study is panel data, namely by combining time series and cross section data from 2010 to 2019 and 6 provinces in Java Island. The results showed that all the independent variables, namely education, health and the labor force together had a positive effect on economic growth. While the most influential variable on economic growth is education. Education is considered to have the most important role in determining human quality. The higher the education level of the labor, the higher the productivity and the higher the economic growth of a country.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Financial Technology on the profitability of state-owned banking companies in Indonesia. This research method is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population used is state-owned banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sampling technique uses the purposive sampling method. To analyze the data, the authors used the SmartPLS 3.0 analysis tool. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be seen that the four exogenous variables which include mobile banking, internet banking, sms banking and phone banking have a positive effect on endogenous variables which include returns on assets. The results showed that from the variables of mobile banking (X1) and return on assets (Y1) had a significant effect with a signification value of 0.035 (p<0.05), the internet banking variable (X2) on return on assets (Y1) showed significantly with the signification value of 0.048 (p<0.05), the sms banking variable (X3) to the return on assets (Y1) showed significant with a signification value of 0.000 (p<0.05) and the phone banking variable (X4) against the return on assets (Y1) showed significant with the signification value is 0.013 (p<0.05). It is known that the results of the R Square value influence mobile banking, internet banking, sms banking and phone banking on the return on assets of 0.528 or in percentage terms is 52.8% (moderate model).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, unemployment rate, per capita expenditure and education on poverty in Bengkalis Regency. This research is a research using time series data from 2011 to 2020. By using a qualitative descriptive method of multiple regression models with simple least squares analysis technique (Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Based on the results of the study, it is known that economic growth has a negative and significant effect on poverty in Bengkalis Regency. This means that when economic growth increases, it will encourage poverty reduction. Unemployment rate has a positive and significant effect on poverty in Bengkalis Regency. This means that changes in the unemployment rate can affect changes in poverty. Expenditure per capita has a negative and significant impact on poverty in Bengkalis Regency. Bengkalis Regency. This means that when per capita expenditure has increased it will encourage a reduction in poverty. Education has a negative and significant impact on poverty in Bengkalis Regency. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of education, training and incentives on employee performance at OS Hotel in Batam. This type of research is quantitative with a population of 101 people. The data was collected using a questionnaire and the researcher set a sample using a saturated sample. The data was processed using SPSS 26 with educational results t count > t table of 5.446 > 1.98472 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 which means that education has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, t count training > t table of 5.239 > 1.98472 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05, which means that training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the incentive t count> t table of 3.370> 1.98472 with a significance of 0.001 <0.05, which means that incentives have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. And education, training and incentives together have a positive and significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by the results of the F test with an Fcount of 96.126> Ftable 2.69 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 and an R Square value of 0.741

Abstract

This study tries to determine whether price, advertising, and service quality have a partial or simultaneous impact on purchasing decisions at PT Jumbo Power International Batam. 3,670 people constitute the study population, all of whom are consumers. 150 respondents were taken as a sample of 150 for this investigation. The saturated sampling technique was used in this work as a sampling technique. This study employs a questionnaire as one of its data collection methods. SPSS 25 program was used to process this data. Quantitative research methodology was used. The results showed that the price showed a t-count value of -6700 <97612. has a negative and significant effect on price on purchasing decisions at PT Jumbo Power International Batam, advertisements show a t-count value of 10,155 <97612 a beneficial and important impact on consumer decisions at PT Jumbo Power International Batam, and service quality with a t-count value of 4,084 <97612 has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at PT Jumbo Power International Batam. price, advertising, and service quality all have a simultaneous, positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at PT Jumbo Power International Batam to buy a product or service. with the calculated F value is 51.675 > 3.060.

Abstract

There are still problems in terms of performance making this research the main priority. The purposes of this study to determine the effect of motivation and work discipline on the performance of the employees of Packing Plant Celukan Bawang PT Semen Tonasa. The questionnaire distributed to employees of the Celukan Bawang Packing Plant of PT Semen Tonasa which opened 55 employees was primary data and used a sample of 55 respondents. Saturated sample is used as a sampling technique using a saturated sampling technique. This study uses questionnaires as a data collection method and uses a Likert scale as a measuring tool. Meanwhile, the researchers used Partial Least Square (PLS) as an analytical technique. Based on the results of research conducted that motivation and work discipline individually has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

During 2021 PT. Federal International Finance Batam only realized 89.89% of its performance target, so it became a problem because the target was not met 100%. This uncertainty is thought to be due to various things such as motivation, work stress, and work. The purpose of this study is to find out how the influence of motivation, work stress and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. Federal International Finance Batam either partially or simultaneously. This research is quantitative by determining the sample using slovin, the sampling technique used is probability sampling with primary data sources obtained through questionnaires. The sample used was 115 employee respondents. The results of the study partially show that motivation has a significant effect on employee performance with a ttable value (3.316 > 1.974) and a significance value of (0.001 < 0.05), work stress has no significant effect on employee performance with a t table value (-1.752 < 1.974) and a significance value of (0.082 > 0.05), work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance with the table (0.557 > 1.974) and a significance value of (0.009 < 0.05), simultaneously motivation, work stress and work discipline affect employee performance with a value of f table (8,842 > 3.05) and a significance value of (0.000 < 0.05). The conclusion according to the hypothesis is that partially motivation has a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Federal International Finance Batam or H1 is accepted, work stress has no significant effect on the performance of PT. Federal International Finance Batam or H2 is rejected, work discipline has a significant effect on the performance of PT. Federal International Finance Batam or H3 received simultaneously, work stress and work discipline affect the performance of employees of PT. Federal International Finance Batam or H4 is accepted.
