Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is that the teacher teaches without preparation, planning, and follow-up. There are still many teachers who have not been able to develop lesson plans, choose methods, media, and learning models properly, so we can imagine how the learning outcomes will be. This research was conducted by increasing the teaching activities of teachers by carrying out the supervision of the Principal at SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Empat, Asahan Regency, academic year 2019/2020. The results showed that the teacher's teaching activities by carrying out the supervision of the Principal at SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Empat increased significantly. This can be seen in the first cycle obtained a score of 67 and increased in the second cycle to 87. Keywords: headmaster; supervision; teach  Abstrak: Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mengajar tanpa persiapan, perencanaan, dan tindak lanjut. Masih banyak guru yang belum bisa menyusun rencana pembelajaran, memilih metode, media, dan model pembelajaran dengan baik, sehingga dapat kita bayangkan bagaimana hasil pembelajarannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan meningkatkan aktivitas mengajar guru dengan melaksanakan supervisi Kepala Sekolah di SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Empat Kabupaten Asahan tahaun ajaran 2019/2020. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa aktivitas mengajar guru dengan melaksanakan supervisi Kepala Sekolah pada SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Empat terjadi peningkatan dengan signifikan. Hal ini terlihat pada siklus I diperoleh skor sebesar 67 dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 87. Kata Kunci: kepala sekolah; mengajar; supervisi

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve speaking skills through the role-playing method in class IX-1 students of SMP Negeri 2 Buntu Pane Satu Roof. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects were students of class IX-1 SMP Negeri 2 Buntu Pane One Roof, totaling 35 students. The object of research is speaking skill. Data collection methods used are observation, tests, and documentation. Cycle II role-playing action based on a drama script. Cycle II is more focused on linguistic aspects (pressure, speech, tone and rhythm) and non-linguistic aspects (fluency and mastery of the material) which are still lacking. Learning speaking skills through role-playing methods based on drama scripts shows an increase in students' speaking skills. The improvement is indicated by the results of the students' speaking skill scores. The increase that occurred was, the average value of the student's pre-action score was 75.46 which rose to 80.93, the second cycle evaluation value was 80.93 with a 97% completeness percentage. Keywords: role playing; speaking  Abstak: Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara melalui metode bermain peran pada siswa kelas IX-1 SMP Negeri 2 Buntu Pane Satu Atap. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah pada siswa kelas IX-1 SMP Negeri 2 Buntu Pane Satu Atap yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Objek penelitian adalah keterampilan berbicara. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Tindakan bermain peran siklus II berdasarkan naskah drama. Siklus II lebih difokuskan pada aspek kebahasaan (tekanan, ucapan, serta nada dan irama) dan aspek nonkebahasaan (kelancaran dan penguasaan materi) yang masih kurang. Pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara melalui metode bermain peran berdasarkan naskah drama menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Peningkatan ditunjukkan dengan hasil nilai keterampilan berbicara siswa. Peningkatan yang terjadi yaitu, nilai rata-rata nilai pratindakan siswa sebesar 75.46 naik menjadi  80.93, nilai evaluasi siklus II sebesar 80.93 dengan persentase ketuntasan 97%. Kata Kunci: bermain peran; berbicara

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in learning outcomes of sixth grade students at SD Negeri 010039 Sentang, Kisaran Timur sub-district, Asahan district for the 2019/2020 school year on the concept of heat energy through learning to find concepts with experiential learning models. This study uses a classroom action research design (CAR) with an increase in design elements that allow an overview of the effectiveness of the learning carried out to be obtained. At the end of the study, the results of the final assessment were obtained with an average correct answer of 87.6% and an average completeness of 100%. This means that when compared to cycle I, in cycle II there was an increase in the percentage of correct answers by 6%, as well as in other aspects, namely: natural knowledge skills increased by 2%. Keywords: experiential learning; concept discovery  Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa  kelas VI SD Negeri 010039 Sentang kecamatan Kisaran Timur labupaten Asahan tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 pada konsep energi panas melalui belajar menemukan konsep dengan model experiential learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan peningkatan pada unsur desain yang memungkinkan diperolehnya gambaran keefektifan pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Pada akhir pembelajaran diperoleh hasil penilaian akhir dengan rata-rata jawaban benar 87,6% dan rata-rata ketuntasan 100%. Berarti jika dibanding siklus I, pada siklus II ada peningkatan prosentase jawaban benar sebesar 6%, begitu pula pada aspek-aspek lain yaitu: ketrampilan pengetahuan alam naik 2%. Kata Kunci: experiential learning; penemuan konsep

Abstract

Abstract: The implementation of this academic supervision is carried out in a sustainable family manner, which was carried out at SD Negeri 010054 Bahung Sibatu-batu, Sei Dadap District, academic year 2018/2019. This research is a classroom action research to improve the competence of teachers in carrying out the learning process in the classroom which includes the completeness of learning tools and the implementation of the teaching and learning process in the classroom when the process takes place. The results showed that, after taking action in the form of continuous family educative supervision from the initial condition to Cycle II, it turned out that the teacher's performance was increasing. Improvements occurred both in learning devices and carrying out the learning process in the classroom. Keywords: kinship; teacher competence; academic supervision  Abstrak: Pelaksanaan supervisi akademik ini dilakukan secara kekeluargaan berkelanjutan, yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 010054 Bahung Sibatu-batu kecamatan Sei Dadap Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas untuk meningkatkan kompetensi Guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran di kelas yang meliputi kelengkapan perangkat pembelajaran dan pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar di kelas saat proses tersebut berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, setelah dilakukan tindakan berupa supervisi edukatif kekeluargaan berkelanjutan dari kondisi awal sampai dengan Siklus II, ternyata kinerja guru semakin meningkat. Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this research were to find the errors in student’s writing at The Tenth Grade Science 1 of SMA Swasta Daerah Kisaran. The subject of this research were 20 students of SMA Swasta Daerah Kisaran. The technique of collecting data used in this research were interview, observation and written test. The researcher used Dulay’s Theory to classify the types of errors. In this research, the researcher found 4 types of errors. Those were ommision, addition, misformation and misordering. The precentage of frequency the errors. It was ommison type (42,86%), addition type (5,71%), misformation type (22,86%), and misordering type (28,57%). From all of the types, the highest frequent types of error was omission. Keywords: Simple Past Tense Sentence, Writing, Errors  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan kesalahan dalam menulis siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA Swasta Daerah Kisaran. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa SMA Swasta Daerah Kisaran. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan tes tertulis. Peneliti menggunakan Teori Dulay untuk mengklasifikasikan jenis-jenis kesalahan. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan 4 jenis kesalahan. Yaitu penghilangan, penambahan, salah formasi dan salah urut. Persentase frekuensi kesalahan. Yaitu tipe omission (42,86%), tipe penambahan (5,71%), tipe salah formasi (22,86%), dan tipe salah susun (28,57%). Dari semua jenis tersebut, jenis kesalahan yang paling sering terjadi adalah omission. Kata kunci: Kalimat Simple Past Tense, Penulisan, Kesalahan

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the results of the application of continuous guidance methods in improving teacher performance in preparing lesson plans at SDN 018478 Huta Bagasan, BP. Mandoge sub-district academic year 2020/2021. The method used in this study is the School Action Research (PTS) method. The results of the study concluded that the ability of teachers' performance in preparing lesson plans by applying the continuous guidance method at SDN 018478 Huta Bagasan experienced a significant increase. This can be seen from the increase in teacher competence in compiling a good syllabus and lesson plans, which increased by 52% and 58%, respectively. Keywords: continuous guidance, teacher performance, lesson plans  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan metode bimbingan berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru menyusun RPP di SDN 018478 Huta Bagasan kecamatan BP. Mandoge TP. 2020/2021. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS). Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan kinerja guru dalam menyusun RPP dengan menerapkan metode bimbingan berkelanjutan di SDN 018478 Huta Bagasan terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan. Abstract: Classroom action research in general aims to improve the quality of learning for fourth grade students at SDN 010047 Sei Alim Ulu. Specifically, it aims to: (1) Improve Learning Achievement with the Environment as a Learning Media for Circular and Extensive Materials in Mathematics Lessons for Fourth Grade Students at SDN 010047 Sei Alim Ulu district Air Joman academic year 2019/2020; (2). Describe the management of Mathematics learning. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. Classroom action research was carried out in the fourth grade of SDN 010047 Sei Alim Ulu with a total of 35 students. The subjects of this study were fourth grade mathematics teachers and fourth grade students at SDN 010047 Sei Alim Ulu. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the improvement of teacher discipline by providing teachers with a reward and punishment system. The subjects of this study were kindergarten teachers in Langkat district, totaling 20 teachers. The results of the research in the first cycle were 75% of teachers were able to apply the discipline of their arrival in every learning activity. The results of the research in the second cycle increased to 90% of teachers who were able to discipline the arrival time in each activity. In the first cycle there are 60% of teachers who complete the administration of learning preparation in their class, while in the second cycle it increases to 80%. Then in the first cycle there were 50% of the teachers did not reach the minimum curriculum target and in the second cycle it decreased to 20% did not reach the curriculum target. From this it can be concluded that teacher awareness in time discipline can improve student learning outcomes, as seen in the results of the research cycle I to cycle II, teacher performance and student learning outcomes have increased significantly. Keywords: discipline; punishment; reward  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan disiplin guru dengan memberikan guru sistem reward dan punisment. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru-guru TK di kabupaten Langkat yang berjumlah 20 orang guru. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I terdapat 75% guru mampu menerapkan disiplin kedatangannya di setiap kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 90% guru mampu melakukan disiplin waktu kedatangan di setiap kegiatan. Pada siklus I terdapat 60% guru yang lengkap administrasi persiapan pembelajaran di kelasnya, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 80%. Kemudian pada siklus I terdapat 50% guru tidak mencapai target kurikulum minimal dan pada siklus II menurun menadi 20% tidak mencapai target kurikulum. Dari hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesadaran guru dalam disiplin waktu dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, terlihat pada hasil penelitian siklus I sampai dengan siklus II, kinerja guru dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan signifikan. Kata Kunci: disiplin; punishment; reward

Abstract

Abstract: In the implementation of teaching and learning activities in several kindergartens in Binjai District, Langkat Regency, it was found that many educators/teachers had not been able to prepare RPPH. Then the inspector applies the Supervision Indent action to the educator. The results before the action obtained an average score of 40 which was obtained by kindergarten teachers in Binjai District in 2019 in compiling the RPPH and after being given the action in cycle 1, an average score of 70 was obtained, there was an increase of 30 points which showed an increase in educators in compiling the RPPH, but has not shown any improvement. the desired result of the researcher. Then it was continued to give action in Cycle II, the average score of educators was 90. There was an increase in the ability to prepare educators' RPPH by 20 points from cycle I, so this research is said to be complete because it has met the criteria for maximum completeness. Looking at the data obtained from the research results in this school action research activity, it can be concluded that the Indent Supervision carried out by the inspectors of 10 teachers who had difficulties in preparing the RPPH, succeeded in improving the pedagogic competence of educators in planning their daily learning well. Keywords: pedagogic competence; coaching; indent supervision  Abstrak: Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar beberapa TK di Kecamatan Binjai kabupaten Langkat ditemukan tenaga pendidik/guru banyak yang belum mampu menyusun RPPH. Lalu penilik menerapkan tindakan Supevisi Indent kepada pendidik. Hasil sebelum tindakan diperoleh rata-rata skor 40 yang didapat guru TK di Kecamatan Binjai Tahun 2019 dalam menyusun RPPH dan setelah diberi tindakan siklus 1 diperoleh rata-rata skor 70, terdapat peningkatan 30 poin yang menunjukkan peningkatan yang  pendidik dalam menyusun RPPH, namun belum menunjukkan hasil yang diinginkan peneliti. Maka dilanjutkan memberi tindakan di Siklus II, diperoleh hasil rata-rata pendidik skornya 90. Terjadi peningkatan kemampuan menyusun RPPH pendidik sebanyak 20 poin dari siklus I, maka penelitian ini dikatakan tuntas karena sudah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan maksimal. Melihat data perolehan hasil penelitian dalam kegiatan penelitian tindakan sekolah ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Supevisi Indent yang dilakukan penilik terhadap 10 orang guru yang memiliki masalah kesulitan menyusun RPPH tersebut, berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik pendidik dalam menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran harian mereka dengan baik. Kata Kunci: kompetensi pedagogic; pembinaan; supervisi indent

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the obstacles of English teachers in implementing Limited Face-to-face Learning (PTMT) at SMA Negeri 1 Barumun Tengah and efforts to overcome them. This research method is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The subject of this research is the English teacher of class XI, totaling 2 people. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews and documentation. The results of this study are the obstacles for the class XI English teacher in implementing PTMT, namely (1) the difficulty of the teacher in determining the appropriate, effective and efficient learning model and application. (2) decreased student interest in learning. Efforts made to overcome these obstacles (1) teachers choose learning methods and applications that are in accordance with PTMT. The Blended Learning learning model is supported by the Microsoft Sway application and Book Creator, making it easier for students to access the material presented by the teacher. (2) the teacher provides motivation, encouragement and enthusiasm to students to increase interest in learning. Many students experience loss learning during online learning. (3) Teachers and students hold effective communication to overcome the obstacles encountered during PTMT. Keywords: english teacher obstacles; limited face-to-face learning  Abstak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala guru Bahasa Inggris dalam menerapkan Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas (PTMT) di SMA Negeri 1 Barumun Tengah dan upaya untuk mengatasinya. Metode penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendeketan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu guru Bahasa Inggris kelas XI yang berjumlah 2 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kendala guru Bahasa Inggris kelas XI dalam menerapkan PTMT yaitu: (1) kesulitan guru dalam menentukan model dan aplikasi pembelajaran yang tepat, efektif dan efesien, (2) menurunya minat belajar siswa. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut: (1) guru memilih metode dan aplikasi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan PTMT. Model pembelajaran Blended Learning didukung aplikasi Microsoft Sway dan Book Creator mempermudah siswa mengakses materi yang disampaikan guru, (2) guru memberikan motivasi, dorongan dan semangat kepada siswa untuk meningkatkan minat belajar. Banyak siswa mengalami loss learning selama pembelajaran daring, (3) Guru dan siswa mengadakan komunikasi yang efektif untuk mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi selama PTMT.   Kata Kunci: kendala Guru Bahasa Inggris; Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas
