Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of a digital workplace based on information systems on employees’ administrative and documentation performance in supporting bureaucratic digital transformation. The research employs a qualitative approach through literature review and case studies. Three cases are examined, namely road damage management in North Maluku, the implementation of the SI MANTAP Sumut application with the Maker–Checker–Signer mechanism, and the use of SIMPEG e-Kinerja in Bogor City. The results indicate that a digital workplace based on information systems has a significant impact on improving employee performance, particularly in terms of administrative efficiency, data accuracy, documentation quality, as well as transparency and accountability. The North Maluku case shows improved reporting speed and responsiveness. SI MANTAP Sumut enhances data validity through internal control mechanisms, while SIMPEG e-Kinerja in Bogor City supports more objective, data-driven performance evaluation. However, challenges remain, including limited technological infrastructure, varying levels of digital competence among employees, and suboptimal system utilization. Therefore, strengthening system integration, improving human resource capacity, and developing more adaptive and integrated systems are necessary.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the shadowing method in improving speaking fluency among Class SI 1D students in the Information Systems Department at Royal University. A quasi-experimental design was applied involving 27 students divided into an experimental and a control group. The experimental group received structured shadowing activities through guided audio repetition and pronunciation modeling, while the control group was taught using conventional speaking exercises. The findings showed a significant improvement in the experimental group, with a mean post-test score of 86 and a normalized gain of 0.65 (moderate–high), compared to the control group’s mean score of 70 and gain of 0.23 (low). An independent samples t-test confirmed a statistically significant difference between both groups (t = 10.12, p < 0.05). Classroom observations indicated increased confidence, reduced hesitation, and better speech continuity among students exposed to shadowing. The study concludes that the shadowing method is an effective and practical strategy for enhancing speaking fluency among university-level Information Systems students.

Abstract

This study aims to design a system capable of predicting disease risk levels using the Naive Bayes algorithm and questionnaire data. Respondent data was collected via Google Forms, covering variables such as age, lifestyle, stress levels, sleep quality, physical activity, and family health history. The data underwent preprocessing and was converted into a tabular format before being divided into 80 training data points and 20 testing data points. The Naive Bayes algorithm was used to classify disease risk into low, moderate, and high categories. Test results showed that the model could generate predictions with a high level of accuracy. The trained model was then implemented in a web-based system so that users could easily and quickly determine their disease risk.

Abstract

Unequal distribution of contraceptive supplies (Alokon) relative to the target population remains a persistent challenge in family planning programs, particularly in regions with high demographic heterogeneity. Evaluation based on absolute distribution values generates proportional bias, as larger-population areas automatically receive higher volumes without accounting for the proportional needs of the Reproductive Age Couples (PUS) population. This study proposes a ratio-based approach — dividing total Alokon distributed by the number of  PUS — as the primary clustering variable to enable proportional comparison and reduce population-scale bias across 33 districts and cities in North Sumatra Province. Two algorithms, K-Means and K-Medoids based on Partitioning Around Medoids (PAM), were comparatively evaluated using Silhouette Score as the evaluation metric. The optimal number of clusters (K = 3) was determined through a combination of the Elbow Method — which identified a 75.12% WCSS reduction from K = 2 to K = 3 — and Silhouette Score validation. Results show that both algorithms produced identical cluster compositions: 16 districts in the low-distribution group (48.5%; = 0.1687), 13 districts in the moderate group (39.4%; = 0.3117), and 4 districts in the high group (12.1%; = 0.6077), with equal average Silhouette Scores of = 0.6998 (reasonable structure). Densely populated areas such as Medan City and Deli Serdang — despite receiving the highest absolute distribution volumes — were classified in the low group when measured proportionally, demonstrating the superiority of the ratio-based approach. To the best of the authors' knowledge, this study is the first to apply comparative clustering on Alokon distribution using a proportional ratio framework in North Sumatra Province, providing empirical evidence on algorithm performance in normalized health service distribution data.

Abstract

The rapid growth of online gambling in Indonesia has become a serious social problem, prompting the government to implement various eradication policies. This study aims to analyze public sentiment toward Indonesia's online gambling eradication policy using Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques on social media data collected from YouTube. A total of 237 comments were gathered and processed through preprocessing stages including cleaning, normalization, stopword removal, and stemming using the Sastrawi library. Sentiment labeling was performed using a weighted lexicon-based approach with 600+ sentiment words. Classification was conducted using three models—Random Forest, Linear SVM, and Logistic Regression—with SMOTE applied for class balancing and 5-fold cross-validation for robustness evaluation. The best model, Linear SVM, achieved an accuracy of 97.92% and a CV score of 97.56%. Results showed that 57.4% of public sentiment was neutral, 28.3% positive, and 14.3% negative, indicating that the majority of the public responds to this issue informationally. This study demonstrates that NLP-based sentiment analysis is an effective tool for evaluating public perception of digital policy in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the simultaneous and partial effects of service quality, product quality, and customer experience on consumer satisfaction. The sample consisted of 96 respondents. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The regression results produced the equation: Y = 1,901 + 0,315X1 + 0,561X2 + 0,407X3. The F-test result shows an Fcount (33.997) > Ftable (2.70), indicating that service quality, product quality, and customer experience simultaneously have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. The t-test results show that, partially, service quality has a positive effect on consumer satisfaction because tcount (2.145) > ttable (1.986), product quality has a positive effect on consumer satisfaction because tcount (6.240) > ttable (1.986), and customer experience also has a positive effect on consumer satisfaction because tcount (3.386) > ttable (1.986). The R² test result shows an Adjusted R Square value of 0.510, meaning that the independent variables consisting of service quality, product quality, and customer experience are able to explain consumer satisfaction by 51%, while the remaining 49% is explained by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

Patient understanding of the Surgical Consent Letter (SIO) is a crucial aspect in ensuring patient safety, rights, and involvement in medical procedures. However, limited patient knowledge remains, potentially leading to misunderstandings and legal and ethical risks in hospitals. This study aims to optimize patient knowledge regarding the Surgical Consent Letter through a systematic educational approach. The method used is descriptive quantitative, with data collected through questionnaires from patients undergoing surgery. Analysis was conducted by comparing the level of patient knowledge before and after the education. The results showed a significant increase in patient knowledge after the educational intervention, with most patients previously in the low to moderate knowledge category improving to the good category. Direct education provided using communicative media has proven effective in improving patient understanding. Thus, optimizing patient knowledge regarding the Surgical Consent Letter can be achieved through planned and ongoing education, thereby supporting patient safety and strengthening the principle of informed consent in healthcare.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to partially and simultaneously determine the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Net Profit Margin on Return on Assets (ROA) in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample size was 11 companies for the 2021-2024 period with a total of 44 observation objects. Quantitative research methods and multiple linear regression. The partial t-test results of LDR have a calculated t value (1.727) < t table (2.02108) and a significant value greater than 0.05, namely 0.092 > 0.05, so H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, which means that partially the LDR variable has no effect on Return On Assets (ROA), Total Asset Turn Over (TATO) has a calculated tvalue (6.693) > ttable (2.02108) and a significant value less than 0.05, namely 0.000 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected and H2 is accepted, which means that partially the TATO variable has a positive effect on Return On Assets (ROA), CAR has a calculated tvalue (-0.592) > -ttable (-2.02108) and a significant value greater than 0.05, namely 0.558 > 0.05, so H0 is accepted and H3 is rejected, which means that partially the CAR variable has no effect on Return On Asset (ROA) and NPM has a calculated tvalue (13.298) > ttable (2.02269) and a significant value smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and H4 is accepted, which means that partially the NPM variable has a positive effect on Return on Asset (ROA). The results of the simultaneous F test of LDR, TATO, CAR and NPM have an effect on the dependent variable Return On Asset (ROA). The calculation results obtained an F calculated value of 48.023 and a significance value of 0.000. While the Ftable value at a 95% confidence level (? = 5%), with dƒ1 = 4 and dƒ2 = 39, an Ftable value of 2.61 was obtained. Thus, the F calculated value > F table is 48.023 > 2.61 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that the independent variables are: Keywords: LDR, TATO, CAR, NPM, and ROA Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara parsial dan simultan Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Total Asset Turn Over (TATO), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) dan Net Profi Margin Terhadap Return On Asset (ROA) pada perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI).
