Abstract

 This study aims to describe the various activities included in the Smart Sebahu KKN Program in realizing the existence of the Reading Corner in Tarumajaya Village. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Informants in this study found three people consisting of managers and visitors to the Reading Corner of Tarumajaya Village. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the Smart Sebahu KKN Program was able to realize the existence of the Reading Corner in Tarumajaya Village. The activities in the Smart Sebahu KKN Program, namely the installation of directions, group management, installation of seat mats and service innovations in the reading corner. These various activities are able to attract the public, especially children, to take advantage of the various services and collections available.Keywords: community reading park, smart sebahu program, Tarumajaya villageABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai kegiatan yang termasuk dalam Program KKN Sebahu Cerdas dalam mewujudkan eksistensi Pojok Baca Desa Tarumajaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah tiga orang yang terdiri dari pengelola dan pengunjung Pojok Baca Desa Tarumajaya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program KKN Sebahu Cerdas mampu mewujudkan eksistensi dari Pojok Baca Desa Tarumajaya. Adapun kegiatan dalam Program KKN Sebahu Cerdas, yaitu pemasangan petunjuk arah, pengelolaan koleksi, pemasangan alas duduk dan inovasi layanan pada pojok baca. Berbagai kegiatan ini mampu menarik minat kunjung masyarakat terutama anak-anak untuk memanfaatkan berbagai layanan dan koleksi yang ada

Abstract

Asmanadia Ciranjang Reading House (RBA Ciranjang) is one of the branches of Asmanadia Reading House in Indonesia. To develop and carry out its activities, RBA Ciranjang does not work alone, therefore the purpose of this research is to find out the components of collaboration between RBA Ciranjang and volunteers to empower communities based on literacy activities and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of collaboration. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The informants in this study were the head of the Ciranjang RBA board, two Ciranjang RBA volunteers and one key informant. The results showed that the implementation of the collaboration component was carried out well, seen from the first component, namely the communication that existed between RBA Ciranjang and volunteers showing their closeness. The second component is RBA Ciranjang and volunteers already trust each other and understand their respective duties. The third component is RBA Ciranjang and volunteers have a commitment to achieve the agreed goals. The fourth component is the goal that they agreed on is to grow interest and reading culture from literacy activities in RBA Ciranjang so that the community is empowered. The fifth component, namely the impact felt by the Ciranjang RBA and volunteers, is a positive impact. The supporting factor for collaboration is the motivation that RBA Ciranjang has with volunteers and there are no inhibiting factors from collaboration.Keywords: Asmanadia Reading House, collaboration, volunteer, literacy activitiesABSTRAKRumah Baca Asmanadia Ciranjang (RBA Ciranjang) merupakan salah satu cabang dari Rumah Baca Asmanadia di Indonesia. Untuk mengembangkan dan menjalankan kegiatannya, RBA Ciranjang tidak bergerak sendirian, oleh sebab itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui komponen kolaborasi RBA Ciranjang dengan relawan dalam upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis kegiatan literasi dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung serta penghambat dari kolaborasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan  studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua pengurus RBA Ciranjang, dua relawan RBA Ciranjang dan satu key informant. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaksanaan komponen kolaborasi terlaksana dengan baik, dilihat dari komponen pertama yaitu komunikasi yang terjalin antara RBA Ciranjang dengan relawan menunjukkan kedekatan mereka. Komponen kedua yaitu RBA Ciranjang dan relawan sudah saling percaya dan memahami tugas mereka masing-masing. Komponen ketiga yaitu RBA Ciranjang dan relawan memiliki komitmen untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah disepakati. Komponen keempat yaitu tujuan yang mereka sepakati adalah menumbuhkan minat dan budaya membaca dari kegiatan literasi yang ada di RBA Ciranjang agar masyarakat tersebut berdaya. Komponen kelima yaitu dampak yang dirasakan oleh RBA Ciranjang dan relawan merupakan dampak yang positif. Faktor pendukung terjalinnya kolaborasi adalah motivasi yang dimiliki oleh RBA Ciranjang dengan relawan dan tidak ada faktor penghambat dari kolaborasi.

Abstract

Yasinan is an Islamic tradition in the archipelago which is an attempt to introduce Islamic culture (Islam and culture) that is unique to Indonesia. Yasinan is also a religious literacy that increases the knowledge of Muslims about the holy book al-Qur'an by reading it and writing it. Muslims are always reminded of the importance of literacy in various letters including Surah Al-Alaq verses 1-3 and Surah Al-Isra 'verse 14. This tradition is a medium for the welfare of the community and as a means of giving charity. This tradition is also a means of gathering among community members so that all information about the local environment is conveyed by the head of the RT after the yasinan series is carried out. In addition, Yasinan can also be seen as the glue of social relations between residents, when participating in the Yasinan event, residents who did not know each other yesterday will become acquainted. The Yasinan event can strengthen the relationship between fellow residents, especially neighbors and the surrounding community. In addition, the participation of residents in participating in the Yasinan event can foster a sense of empathy and sympathy for the community to share what is felt by the people who hold the Yasinan event. In preparation for serving food, the women and men work together to make dishes that have been financed by the host who has an intention. Yasinan juga sebagai literasi keagamaan yang meningkatkan pengetahuan ummat muslim mengenai kitab sucinya al-qur’an dengan membacanya dan menulisnya. Ummat Islam selalu diingatkan akan pentingnya sebuah literasi diberbagai surat diantaranya surat al-alaq ayat 1-3 dan surat al-isra’ ayat 14. Tradisi ini menjadi media penyejahtera masyarakat dan sebagai sarana bersedekah. Tradisi ini juga sebagai sarana berkumpul antar anggota masyarakat sehingga seluruh informasi terhadap lingkungan setempat disampaikan oleh ketua RT setelah rangkaian yasinan dilaksanakan. Selain itu, Yasinan juga dapat dipandang sebagai perekat hubungan sosial warga, ketika mengikuti acara Yasinan, maka warga yang kemarin tidak kenal satu sama lain akan menjadi kenal. Acara Yasinan dapat mempererat tali silaturahmi antar sesama warga, terutama tetangga dan masyarakat sekitar. Disamping itu juga dengan keikutsertaan warga mengikuti acara Yasinan dapat menumbuhkan rasa empati dan simpati masyarakat untuk ikut merasakan apa yang dirasakan oleh orang yang mengadakan acara Yasinan. Dalam persiapannya menyajikan makanan, para kaum perempuan dan laki-laki saling gotong-royong untuk membuatkan masakan yang telah dibiayai oleh tuan rumah yang memiliki hajat. Oleh karena itu, melalui Yasinan terbentuk sebuah literasi keagamaan yang memperkenalkan budaya Islam (Islam dan budaya) yang khas ada di Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract : In Indonesia, information literacy shows a worrying sign. The Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) in its research released by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 2010 revealed that the reading position of students in Indonesia is in the 57th position out of 65 countries. Therefore, through the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2015 concerning the Growth of Character, the School Literacy Movement (GLS) was implemented in Indonesia. This GLS is done by habituating students to read books other than textbooks for 15 minutes before class starts. This is intended to increase student motivation so that later they achieve ideal information literacy. The intensive implementation of the GLS encourages researchers to find out how far has the development of scientific publications in the field of GLS been. The research method was carried out by obtaining data through Publish or Perish and bibliometric mapping was carried out by co-word analysis using the vos viewer. The results of this study are network visualization, overlay visualization, and density visualization from GLS scientific publications in Indonesia for a period of 6 years (2015-2021).

Abstract

The application of the MPS engine in the UIN Sunan Gunung Djati library is a form of the library’s efforts to develop a smart library. in developing a smart library, the UIN Sunan Gunung Djati implemented an MPS engine which was then socialized during the orientation period for student admissions and campus indroductions as well as through user education through social media and the use of banners as a strategy in the formation of a smart environment. In addition, in forming a smart library environment, the new UIN Sunan Gunung Djati fulfills the library building design, system design, and procedure design. Where the three designs have been implemented properly and with plans to update the library building design, system design, and procedure design can be faster in forming a smart environment as a whole

Abstract

The ability to think mathematically and logically in the world of libraries, especially for librarians who carry out library information organization, has not been widely discussed. In fact, these skills are very essential and fundamental to be mastered by everyone, in this case for librarians. By having a good ability in mathematical thinking, our cognitive function will also increase. Skills such as reasoning, systematic thinking, reading comprehension, problem solving will be further honed as our mathematical and logical thinking skills increase. By mastering this ability, in the end it will also increase user satisfaction.

Abstract

As time goes by, the policy for the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) has begun to loosen along with the start of face-to-face learning activities in schools. The transition from distance learning to face-to-face learning has brought significant changes to junior high school students in terms of how they access the information they need related to learning. This study tries to examine the pattern of student information seeking during the transition period. This research is qualitative research with observations and interviews with students of SMPN 1 Cibatu Kab. Garut. The research findings indicate that the information search pattern based on David Ellis' information search model, only 3 processes are passed by students namely starting, chaining, browsing. Changes in the habitual pattern of seeking information through internet-based search engines make students not carry out an in-depth search for information. The transition from distance learning to face-to-face learning implies that internet-based information sources are the main source for meeting information needs in the educational environment. Future research will focus on the effectiveness of using search engines as a means of student learning.Keywords: information literacy, information search patterns. face-to-face learningABSTRAKSeiring berjalannya waktu kebijakan Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) yang mulai melonggar beriringan dengan kegiatan mulainya aktifitas pembelajaran tatap muka di sekolah. Transisi pola pembelajaran jarak jauh ke tatap muka telah memberikan perubahan yang signifikan pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama dari sisi cara mereka mengakses informasi yang mereka butuhkan terkait pemeblajaran. Penelitian ini mencoba mengkaji pola pencarian informasi siswa pada masa transisi tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan observasi dan wawancara kepada siswa SMPN 1 Cibatu Kab. Garut. Temuan penelitian menunukan bahwa pola pencarian informasi berdasarkan model pencarian informasi David Ellis, hanya 3 proses yang dilalui oleh siswa yakni starting, chaining, browsing. Perubahan pola kebiasaan mencari informasi melalui mesin perncari berbasis internet membuat siswa tidak melakukan pendalaman pencarian informasi. Transisi pola pembelajaran jarak jauh ke tatap muka memberikan implikasi sumber informasi berbasis jaringan internet menjadi sumber utama untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi di lingkungan pendidikan. Penelitian selanjutnya akan berfokus pada efektifitas pemanfaatan mesin pencari sebagai sarana belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of storytelling activities in improving the language skills of children aged 5 to 6 years at the Kober Al-Qolam Library Bandung which is seen from the listening aspect, speaking aspect, writing aspect and reading aspect. This research is a qualitative descriptive study involving teachers and principals. Data were collected through interviews, observation and document analysis. Data analysis through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the application of storytelling activities was able to improve language skills in Kober Al-Qolam. This can be seen in several aspects, namely in the listening aspect, which occurs when the teacher is able to attract children's attention when telling stories. In the speaking aspect, it occurs when the teacher provides a stimulus in the form of questions to the child and the child can answer the teacher's question. As for the writing aspect and the reading aspect, it occurs when the teacher gives orders to the child to write the character in the story, for example when asked to write the name of the character "Kancil". At preschool age children they are still in the early writing and reading stages, so they are not yet able to write complex sentences, but by giving orders to write the word "Deer" can improve early writing skills for children, after children recognize letters children can be taught to spell words so that it is able to improve reading skills in children. The obstacles in the implementation of this storytelling activity, namely the limitations of teaching aids, less varied and poorly maintained media, the lack of the latest reading books that can be used in storytelling, the limited mastery of storytelling methods by storytellers, and children in Kober Al-Qolam classified as children. at an early age (5-6 years), so that learning needs the role of parents to be maximized. Keywords: storytelling, language skills, early childhood educationABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan kegiatan storytelling dalam peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa anak usia 5 hingga 6 tahun di Perpustakaan Kober Al-Qolam Bandung yang dilihat dari aspek menyimak, aspek berbicara, aspek menulis dan aspek membaca. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan guru dan kepala sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa penerapan kegiatan storytelling mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa di Kober Al-Qolam. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada beberapa aspek, yaitu pada aspek menyimak yaitu terjadi pada saat guru mampu menarik perhatian anak saat bercerita. Pada aspek berbicara yaitu terjadi pada saat guru memberikan stimulus berupa pertanyaan kepada anak dan anak dapat menjawab pertanyaan guru. Adapun pada aspek menulis dan aspek membaca, yaitu terjadi pada saat guru memberikan perintah kepada anak untuk menulis tokoh dalam cerita, contohnya ketika diminta menuliskan nama tokoh “Kancil”. Pada anak usia Paud mereka masih dalam tahap menulis dan membaca awal, sehingga belum mampu menulis kalimat yang kompleks, namun dengan memberikan perintah untuk menulis kata “Kancil” mampu meningkatkan keterampilan menulis permulaan bagi anak, setelah anak mengenal huruf anak bisa diajarkan untuk mengeja kata sehingga itu mampu meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pada anak. Adapun hambatan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan storytelling ini, yaitu keterbatasan alat peraga, media yang kurang variatif dan kurang terawat, kurangnya buku bacaan terbaru yang bisa digunakan materi dalam bercerita, keterbatasan penguasaan metode bercerita oleh storyteller, dan anak yang berada di Kober Al-Qolam tergolong anak usia dini (5-6 tahun), sehingga pembelajarannya perlu adanya peran orang tua agar maksimal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of the Indonesian Visual Art Archive (IVAA) Library in developing fine arts. This study uses descriptive qualitative, while for data collection using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. To analyze the results of the research, using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and verification (drawing conclusions. From the results of the study it is known that IVAA has contributed to the development of fine arts, namely as a place of recreation and a source of information, as a preserver of works of art, as a place of recreation). reference to fine art collections, as a place of education, and as a place for creative writing in the field of fine arts. The obstacles in carrying out this role are limited funds, human resources, and most collections in foreign languages.Keywords: library contribution, Indonesian Visual Art Archive, fine artsABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi Perpustakaan Indonesian Visual Art Archive (IVAA) dalam mengembangkan seni rupa. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif, sedangkan untuk pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Untuk menganalisis hasil dari penelitian, yaitu menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, serta verfikasi (menarik kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa IVAA memiliki kontribusi dalam mengembangkan seni rupa, yaitu sebagai tempat rekreasi dan sumber informasi, sebagai pelestari karya seni rupa, sebagai tempat referensi koleksi seni rupa, sebagai ltempat edukasi, dan sebagai wadah kreatifitas kepenulisan dalam bidang seni rupa. Hambatan dalam pelaksanaan peran tersebut yaitu dana yang terbatas, Sumber daya manusia, serta kebanyakan koleksi berbahasa asing.
