Abstract

Abstract

The water that must be drunk is healthy water that meets the requirements of Bacteriology, Chemistry, Radioactivity and Physicality based on Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation No: 492 / MENKES / PER / IV / 2010 concerning the requirements and supervision of clean water quality which includes physical requirements which are odorless, not colored and tasteless, where for the Coliform value is 0/100 mL. Escherichia coli is a fecal coliform bacterium and an indicator of the quality of drinking water because its presence in water indicates that the water is contaminated by feces. The aim of this study was to determine the value of accuracy, precision, detection limit, sensitivity and specificity of the calculated numbers of Escherichia coli bacteria from spike samples using the CFU method with agar chromocult media. The results of the bacterial results obtained on accuracy parameters were 229.33%, precision ie 26.35%, LOD which was 13.85 CFU / ml, LOQ ie 138.54 CFU / ml, and Specificity of 0%. Based on the results of verification of bacterial numbers obtained from the results of the accuracy test, precision that is not within the range of general requirements indicates that the method cannot be valid to use factors that affect high dilution, rapid bacterial growth rate, adequate nutrition and observer vision, whereas specificity indicate that chromocult coliform is very specific to Escherichia coli.

In these circumstances children tend not to cooperate so that quick-tempered, cranky and generally become difficult to face. In early studies in hospitals Solok found of 9 children, 3 children crying, 5 children closer to parents, and 3 of them did not want to answer the questions the nurse when performing the action. The purpose of this research is to know is there any relationship between the provision of play therapy with telling techniques of the level of cooperative pre-school age children in Pediatric of Regional Public Hospital Solok. This research is a quantitative approach to quasi experimental design involving pre-school aged children as many as 15 children are given play therapy with the technique of telling stories and 15 children not given play therapy with the technique of storytelling. Measuring instrument in the form of guidelines for observation and analysis used were paired t test. Of the 15 children not given play therapy with telling techniques most uncooperative even as many as 80% and the cooperative is only a fraction as many as 20%. Meanwhile of the 15 children who were given therapy plays only a small part of a cooperative is not as much as 33.3% and a cooperative of more than half as many as 66.7%. From the statistical test results obtained value p value = 0.014 where p-value <α (0.05), then Ho is rejected with the conclusion there is a connection with the provision of play therapy techniques to tell the level of cooperative children who were hospitalized. It can be concluded that the granting of play therapy with the technique say more influential than play therapy is not given in creating cooperation among children being treated. The researcher recommends for further research in the field of nursing in order to continue research on the factors associated with the cooperative attitude of children in care in child care spaces.

Abstract

Hospital waste comes from health service units in hospitals including laboratories. All types of waste in the laboratory can be declared as infectious material, therefore the handling and disposal of waste must be handled properly so as not to cause negative impacts as a result of laboratory operations which if not managed properly can pollute the environment. Basically, waste management in hospitals must be done well and correctly according to the existing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). So the writer is interested in examining the Application of the Implementation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on Solid Waste Treatment in Dr. RSUP. M. Djamil Padang. The purpose of this study was to determine the compliance of officers in implementing SOPs for processing solid laboratory waste at Dr. RSUP. M. Djamil Padang. This type of research is a descriptive observational study with a cross sectional study approach, which is managing data from observations in the field by comparing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that exist qualitatively. Primary data obtained from observations and checklists using prepared questionnaires. From the results of research conducted, it was found that 83% of SOPs had been carried out by laboratory cleaners and 17% of SOPs had not been carried out by laboratory cleaners. This is due to the unavailability of facilities needed by officers.

Abstract

Waste from processing food ingredients, such as potato skin. Potato skin is one example of raw material for making biethanol because potato skin contains a lot of starch, cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin and sugar. Bioethanol is a liquid from the fermentation process of sugar from a source of carbohydrates (starch) using the help of microorganisms, bioethanol can be used as a substitute for fuel oil (BBM) depending on the level of purity. One example of raw material for making biethanol is waste or waste left over from processing food ingredients, such as potato skin. Potato skin can be made bioethanol because it contains a lot of starch, cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin and sugar. In this study the aim was to find out how much bioethanol levels produced from potato skin waste treatment using the hydolisa acid method using HCl to hydrolyze potato skin into glucose and the fermentation method using Saccharomyces cerevisiae because it has very high conversion to ethanol. The parameters tested were the determination of optimum fermentation time on the percentage of ethanol (2,4,6,8 and 10 days), determining the percentage of ethanol to variations in the concentration of acid (HCl) (0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1 M) and determining glucose levels . From the research, the optimum fermentation time on the 8th day resulted in a percentage of ethanol 4.1% and the optimum percentage of ethanol at 0.6 M acid concentration (HCl) produced a percentage of 4.1% ethanol with a glucose level of 8.65%.
