Abstract

Garbage is an object or material that is no longer used by humans so that it is thrown away. Community activities that produce waste are not only the responsibility of the government, but the community must also be responsible for processing waste so that it does not have a negative impact on the surrounding environment. Garbage is one of the problems that must be considered, because waste from year to year continues to increase along with the increase in population. In order not to cause environmental pollution, waste must be processed according to the type of waste so that it is beneficial for people's lives and health. Therefore, waste must be sorted according to the type of waste to facilitate the recycling process. For the waste sorting process, it is still done conventionally, and manually, namely sorting using different methods of garbage bins based on the type of waste and sorting manually, using staff. Waste sorting that previously used the manual method was replaced with an automatic sorting system. This waste sorting system starts from the input process that comes from the proximity sensor, loadcell sensor, and ultrasonic sensor. This system uses Arduino Mega as a micro controller that functions as a data processing center in the sorting system. The results obtained are that the proximity sensor can detect the type of waste and send data to the Arduino to determine where the servo motor will move to move the garbage according to its type. The weight of the garbage in the container is measured with a loadcell sensor to detect how much garbage weighs. Ultrasonic sensors can measure the amount of waste in the container. Users can see the status of the container on the LCD attached to this tool.

Abstract

Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) is a medium that delivers data communication with great capabilities and without the need for cables as fast connectors. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, many school children had to do Brave learning because of this, many people were not ready with this learning method, therefore problems would occur in household economic conditions. This research was conducted in the Chilian village, Sawahan sub-district, Madiun district in the application of the SAW method for the selection of RT areas receiving wifi assistance as a means of supporting learning during the pandemic. This study uses the SAW method because this method has been proven to help in overcoming the decision-making problems in this study. The result of this study is that the SAW method has been successfully applied to support the decision to select RT areas as recipients of WiFi assistance in order to support learning during the pandemic in Cabean Village, Sawahan District, Madiun Regency, East Java.

Abstract

Tuna Daksa is a term for individuals who have lost or incomplete body parts that can be seen with the naked eye. One solution to help people with physical disabilities in carrying out daily activities in the field of transportation. Modification of motorized vehicles often lacks safety, especially when used on curvy roads due to lack of balance, so that it is overcome by modifying motorized vehicles using the one-wheel pull method. This method is used to adjust the balance of wheel rotation when turning a corner, and is equipped with parts that can support comfort in its use. The main parameter in this research is the analysis of the spindles and the components of the tools used. The material used to design the axle with bending load only is JIS E4502 class 4 carbon steel qwb = 60 kg/mm and its elongation limit is 30 kg/mm. The feasibility of the design of the modification of the tool is based on the results of research from the calculation that the diameter of the calculation results is above 17 mm, very safe to use and more than 1 mm with the previous diameter of 16 mm.

Abstract

Aglonema or sri fortune has various types with various shapes, patterns and colors. Various types and more and more due to the many crossing processes carried out by owners and lovers of aglonema plants. For ordinary people who do not have insight into aglonema, it will be difficult to distinguish aglonema plants because the shapes, patterns and colors have similarities. It takes a Teachable Machine system with a complex but more sophisticated method that is able to recognize plants with a higher level of accuracy. The machine learning process is carried out on a computer to identify image data into classification results in the form of predictions. Tensorflow lite is a machine learning library specially designed for object recognition. Therefore, researchers are encouraged to create an Android-based mobile application that is able to recognize aglonema plants quickly, easily and accurately.

Abstract

NiTi alloy is a highly functional alloy of Ni (nickel) metal and Ti (titanium) metal used for engineering. This NiTi alloy has good biocompatibility properties against human body tissues so that currently it is widely used for medical devices. This study aims to determine the effect of temperature on the tensile strength of NiTi Nanopillars and to investigate the behavior of the atoms making up NiTi nanopillars due to tensile loading. From the results obtained, the authors found the greatest value of the modulus of elasticity for the NiTi Nanopillar alloy with a temperature of 100 K, which is 80.4321 GPa. Meanwhile, the lowest modulus of elasticity is the NiTi Nanopillar alloy with a temperature of 600 K, which is 65.5847 GPa. So it can be concluded that the greater the effect of temperature on the NiTi Nanopillar alloy, the smaller the modulus of elasticity will be. This thesis also discusses the stress-strain and mechanical properties of NiTi Nanopillar alloys during the simulation process.

Abstract

In the world of education today really need a search engine that makes it easier for students to search for information related to book data. One of them is in the library of SMP N 2 SOOKO, the process of finding the number and stock of books at SMP N 2 SOOKO can take a lot of money and time because it needs to be recorded manually. With this web-based search system, it can save costs and time because the process is carried out using a computer. This study aims to create a web-based book data search system that makes it easier for the SMP N 2 SOOKO library in the process of searching for the number and stock of books as well as in the archiving process. This search system uses the Levenshtein distance algorithm which is used to find the smallest string distance or distance, so that the book data entered into the search column displays results that are close to the keywords. For the data collection method using the method of observation and interviews. The tools used to describe this system model are in the form of flowcharts, context diagrams and level 1 DFD. The software used for design and implementation is XAMPP as a webserver, phpMySQL as a database and notepad++ as an editor for writing PHP and HTML files. The research shows that the search for book data using the single target formula is 75% and multi target is 87%.

Abstract

Indonesia is a potential area for producing food such as rice, fruit and vegetables. However, in the process of processing land, the community still uses manual methods so that it takes a long time. This study aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of farmers in cultivating land so that farmers can maximize their work. This research resulted in a portable tractor that can be used to cultivate land in loose soil which is usually the land that is often chosen by farmers to grow various kinds of vegetables. This portable tractor uses a 2 stroke lawn mower, blades and a frame made of 20 mm iron pipe. Researchers have tested portable tractors in the field. From the testing process, it shows that the portable tractor machine is able to cultivate 19.5 m2 of loose soil with a depth of 10 cm within 1 hour of testing, so it can be concluded that the use of portable tractors is more effective and efficient than manual land cultivation.

Abstract

Currently, the world of education must be managed professionally, because of the increasingly fierce competition in education today. Educational institutions will be abandoned by the community if they are managed poorly. MA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo School is one of the private schools owned by the Muhammadiyah business charity in Ponorogo district. MA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo has a small number of students, due to the lack of student interest in entering the school. To find out that students are interested in entering MA Muhammadyah 1 Ponorogo, the school made a new breakthrough that could attract students to register there. To find out, the researchers used data mining techniques with the Apriori Algorithm method, and supported by the Apriori web browser system by examining student extracurricular interest data with 177 respondents with 47 extracurriculars. Data Mining is a combination of data analysis techniques, while Apriori Algorithm is a method which is most often used because it is very simple, easy and the most widely proposed by several researchers, because there are two parameters, namely Support and Confidence. So the results of the” research predictions obtained are that the most popular extracurriculars for junior high school/MTs students are futsal and volleyball with a minimum value of support = 11% and a minimum value of confidence = 52%.

Abstract

Replacing a standard piston with a dome piston can make changes to the performance of a 4 stroke combustion engine, this is due to the change in the compression ratio being larger, thus requiring fuel that contains a high octane number in order to get maximum combustion results. In the process of researching the piston which was originally raw in a convex shape, which aims to increase the compression ratio, changes that occur in engine performance can be observed from the test data in the test dyno. The results of the discussion or test on the effect of ethanol-fueled piston dome surface reconstruction on the performance of a 108cc 4 stroke engine with a standard piston diameter of 50 mm flat surface and a dome piston with a diameter of 51.5 mm convex surface which produces a compression ratio of 16.855 / 1 with the use of fuel. ethhanol fuel, it can be concluded that the maximum performance of a 4 stroke combustion engine is obtained in an engine that uses a dome piston with a power gain of 8.8 HP, which is an increase of 27% from an engine that uses a standard piston, and a torque of 7.79 Nm, which is an increase of about 9% from a standard piston engine. standard piston engine.

Abstract

Education is one thing that is very mandatory for citizens, especially Indonesia. Apart from clothing, food, shelter, and health, which are other basic needs, education is no less important. The number of teachers is too few to cater for the large number of students, so more teachers are needed. This study aims to give priority to the addition of public high school teachers in Magetan Regency with the Weighted Sum Model method. This research is only limited to being done with a Decision Support System using the Weighted Sum Model method. This research was conducted by collecting data on state high schools in Magetan Regency, East Java Province which was used as an alternative data system and then designing applications using the php and mysql programming languages. This research produces a web- based Expert System Application that implements a Decision Support System with the Weighted Sum Model method. From testing the functionality of the system, the improvement of public high school teachers in Mageten Regency by utilizing the Weighted Sum Model method has succeeded well by 100.
