Abstract

A backpack is a medium that functions as a storage for various valuables. In general, backpacks that are not equipped with a safety system can make them vulnerable to theft. This research resulted in a security system design to detect the location of the backpack and detect the backpack open by force with a notification using the telegram application. In this backpack security system will use components, namely light sensor (LDR), voltage sensor, ADS1115 module, unblox 6m GPS module, IC ESP8266, external modem, buzzer driver, stepup circuit, buzzer, battery and telegram application. The ESP8266- based backpack security system with notifications using the telegram application has several advantages, namely that it can provide a warning in the form of a buzzer alarm and notification on the teleram application if the backpack is forced to open, can track the position of the backpack in case of theft and if you don't remember the position of the backpack . The results of research on the backpack system are able to work according to predetermined working principles and data analysis is also in accordance with existing calculations.

Abstract

Studentcomp is one of the service providers engaged in the IT field. Studentcomp is located at Jl. Raya Lekong, Gandukepuh, Sukorejo, Ponorogo. Studentcomp offers several services, one of which is wireless wifi service. In these services, there are often obstacles in terms of billing to the customer's place. this often makes the billing department wrong in determining which path to take and which customers have not paid and which have paid. then a system is made that can help the employees of the wifi billing department in determining the shortest path to the customer's place using the floyd warshall algorithm. the floyd warshall algorithm itself uses a dynamic system so that it guarantees in terms of determining the optimum solution in terms of determining the shortest path. The results obtained by applying this algorithm to the system are assisting employees in determining the shortest path that must be taken to the customer's place and being able to find out which customers have or have not paid.

Abstract

Water is a very important element in human and plant life. The dry season makes the amount of water supply dwindling, this has an impact on farmers' yields to decline. Limited water from rivers makes farmers unable to meet the needs of crops and agricultural areas. Irrigation from rivers is often a social conflict that often occurs in the community because of the problem of water distribution that is not controlled. The huge water demand for farmers demands a water treatment system. Thus the irrigation system becomes a very important support for the smoothness and success of agricultural products, especially the agriculture of the Turi Village community, Jetis District. The design of this irrigation system controller and monitoring prototype uses an Arduino Mega based on NodeMCU (ESP 8266) as a system controller. The process of distributing river water which was previously done manually is replaced by using an automatic system that can be monitored via the telegram application. All components are controlled by arduino mega as a command interpreter from the user. Users can control the prototype using commands from the Telegram application installed on Android and IOS devices. The opening height of the irrigation door can be adjusted by the user. When there is an overflow of water in the river, the system will open all the floodgates automatically so that there is no flood. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the results obtained are that the JSN-SR04T proximity sensor will measure the water level of the river, if the water level exceeds the limit, the user will receive a notification via the telegram application and all floodgates will open automatically. When the sluice gate is forcibly opened, the user will receive a notification via the telegram application and the buzzer installed on the system will sound.

Abstract

The furniture industry is very much sought after by consumers because of its many uses and plays an important role in household life and daily activities. In its development, consumers want results that are as expected, therefore augmented reality is created which can be scanned on the camera so that objects appear in 3D and consumers can get a picture and producers can provide additional explanations. This augmented reality android application was developed using Unity 3D software and an engine from Vuforia by applying the fast corner detection algorithm method. The results of the target image detection test are influenced by several factors such as light intensity, distance and angle of detection, these affect the marker detection process. When the light intensity is low, the marker detection process is getting more difficult. The farthest distance that can be achieved to detect markers is around 70cm. The test results of the marker's point of view can be detected with a slope angle of +45o. And based on the test results on the ar system of this application, the accuracy level of marker detection is very good

Abstract

Nowadays motorcycle is the most used transportation in Indonesia and in overseas. Sometime the engine performance that is used by the rider is not maximal with the standard. Some sectors are re-modified to increase motorcycle’s engine performance. One o part that is modified is Camshaft to change the height of valve lift. The research purpose is to acknowledge the impact of the height of valve lift, power and torque. From the experiment of dynotest can be known that standard camshaft produces maximum power about 6,9 N.m at speed 4916 Rpm and the maximum torque is 7,76N.m at speed 7969 Rpm. The modified camshaft 1 produces power about 7,9 HP at speed 8481 Rpm and maximum torque is 7,28 N.m at speed 6844 Rpm. The modified Camshaft 2 produces power about 8,1 HP at speed 8538 Rpm and the maximum torque is about 7,29 N.m at speed 6973 Rpm. The power of modified camshaft 3 is about 8,4HP at speed 8872 rpm and the torque is about 7,23 N.m at 7085 rpm. The best power is on modified camshaft 3 with 8,4 HP and the best torque is in Standard Camshaft with 7,76 N.m.

Abstract

This study aims to design, build, and implement a decision support system for selecting Elementary School recipients of face-to-face learning facilities and infrastructure in the New Normal Era with the Weighted Product (WP) method in Jiwan District, Madiun Regency, East Java. The data used is secondary data in the form of public data obtained from the site http://school.data.kemdikbud.go.id/. and the number of elementary school data obtained with the boundaries of Jiwan District, Madiun Regency, amounted to 23 schools. At the stage of designing the system for this research, it is divided into three parts, namely the UML System, User Interface System and Database with ERD. The research findings show that the decision support system for selecting primary schools that receive face-to-face learning facilities and infrastructure in the New Normal Era with the WP method has several user interfaces, namely (1) User interface Login is used for security features of the Elementary School election system. (2) The Home Page user interface contains facilities for criteria data management, criteria weight data management, alternative data management, SPK value data management, user data management, and logout. (3) Criteria Data User Interface can perform criteria data management by adding and saving, changing, and deleting criteria data. (4) The Criteria Weighting Data User Interface can fill in the value of the weight of each criterion. (5) Alternative Data User Interface can add and save, change, and delete alternative data. (6) The Value Data User Interface can view and save by adding values to each alternative according to the criteria. (7) The DSS Management User Interface can make decisions by calculating the weight correction, calculating the S vector value, and calculating the V vector value. (8) User Interface Viewing Results can see the results of decision making after calculating the SPK. (9) User Management Interface Users can add, edit, and delete data from users containing usernames and passwords. Then by using the 57 item test scenarios of the blackbox method, the decision support system that was built had 100% success according to the expectations of the test scenario.

Abstract

GTAW welding (gas tungsten arc welding) or commonly called TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding is welding using a flame arc produced by a fixed electrode made of tungsten. One thing that needs to be considered in welding (especially in TIG welding) is the effect of welding amperage on the mechanical properties or strength of the welded joint. PeThe tests carried out in this study were tensile tests and micro tests. Tensile tests were carried out with the aim of knowing the tensile strength of the test specimens. And the micro test is carried out aiming to see the microstructure that occurs in the weld area (HAZ). Data analysis was carried out by looking at the relationship of tensile stress, yield stress, and strain that occurred in the test specimen based on variations or parameters used during welding. Based on the analysis of the mechanical properties and microstructure of thematerial stainless steel sus 304 musing TIG welding (Tungsten Inert Gas)with a current variation of 80 A, 100 A and 120 A showed a difference that caused a comparison of the difference in the tensile strength. Welding using a current of 80 A has the highest average stress of 316.6 kN/mm2, welding using a current of 100 A has a tensile strength of 378.6 kN/mm2. While welding using a current of 120 A has the highest tensile strength of 458.3 kN/mm2. The results of this test indicate that the analysis of the mechanical properties and microstructure of TIG welding (Tungsten Inert Gas) shows a significant effect of tensile strength at a current of 120 A, so it has the highest tensile strength with an average value of 458.3 kN/mm2

Abstract

The basic technique of volleyball itself is one of the most important elements in the game of volleyball, without mastering good basic techniques, the game cannot be played perfectly, the basic techniques of volleyball include serving, passing, smash and block (dam). Based on an interview with Coach at SBV, Kusuma Bhirawa who coaches players at the age of U-18 teenagers, explained that the selection of athletes in participating in the event is carried out according to the coach's feelings during training. After making direct observations at the Kusuma Bhirawa volleyball school with the existing problems, a decision support system will be built for the selection of volleyball athletes using the SAW method. SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) is a method in a decision support system with a weighted summation of the performance ratings of each alternative on all attributes. The alternative that has the highest value is the best alternative proposed. The criteria needed by the SbV trainer Kusuma Bhirawa in anthropometric measurements are height, physical fitness test criteria consisting of 60 m running, 60 sec pull ups, 60 sec sit ups, vertical jump, 1200 m run. volleyball smash technique criteria, passing over, passing down, serving and blocking. From the results of the correlation test that has been tried to get the correlation of the recommendation of the core player list from the application system compared to the player list from the coach with a value of 83.3%. Therefore, these results show that the SAW method has a fairly good correlation when used to determine the selection of volleyball athletes

Abstract

From the development and progress of a country, increasing the speed of growth, and increasing speed, from that we need a word to reduce exhaust emissions produced by motors because the catalyst is made of copper and it is easy for us to get the basic materials and for the manufacture of the catalyst is also a little easy. Its utilization is to reduce HC and CO gases from incomplete combustion of motorized vehicles and fuel mixed with ethanol which slightly helps to increase the combustion of motor vehicles. Seen from the CO results from the use of full hole catalyst, it is 2.7490, in the right hole is 2.4650 and the left hole is 2.6290. seen the results of HC from the use of the full hole of 597.30, on the right hole of 492.60 and the left hole of 637.70.

Abstract

In dealing with disasters, the government has a regional institution in charge of disaster management which includes prevention, handling, rehabilitation, reconstruction in a fair and equal manner, namely the Regional Disaster Management Agency. With disaster management efforts, there will be irregularities in the logistics management of aid that will be distributed to residents because the distribution of aid is carried out by various parties. Based on the above problems, it is necessary to have a management system for the distribution of aid that can adjust according to priority needs evenly. In this study, the First Fit algorithm method was used to build a website-based natural disaster aid distribution information system.
