Abstract

Coal mining is a strategic sector that plays a vital role in meeting national energy needs and supporting the regional economy. The success of mining operations depends heavily on the company's ability to achieve production targets safely, efficiently, and sustainably. One of the main factors influencing the achievement of production targets is the productivity of mechanical equipment, particularly loading and unloading equipment. PT Priamanaya Energi, a coal mining company operating in Lahat Regency, South Sumatra, sets monthly coal production targets as the basis for planning and controlling its mining operations. This study aims to analyze the productivity of loading and unloading equipment in coal getting activities and identify factors that influence their productivity in meeting monthly production targets. The research method used is a quantitative method by processing numerical data, specifically the cycle time of the loading and unloading equipment, to calculate the actual production rate. Abstract

Tuberculosis (TBC) remains a significant public health problem in Provinsi Sumatera Barat, as the case detection rate and treatment success rate vary across districts and cities. This study aims to examine the role of a health information system based on Geographic Information System (GIS) in supporting the analysis of TBC distribution using 2025 data. The method used is a descriptive approach with spatial (mapping) analysis utilizing ArcGIS to identify the distribution of cases and treatment success rates. The results show that the highest number of TBC cases was found in Kota Bukittinggi (139), followed by Kota Solok (109) and Kota Padang (83). In terms of treatment success, the highest rate was recorded in Solok Selatan (95), while relatively lower success was observed in Kota Pariaman (72). Overall, the total number of TBC case detections in Sumatera Barat reached 1,171, while the treatment success rate was 1,609. The use of GIS helps visualize the spatial distribution of the disease more clearly, making it easier to identify priority areas that require greater attention. In conclusion, GIS-based health information systems play an important role in supporting TBC epidemiological analysis, particularly in mapping, monitoring, and data-driven decision-making. This technology is expected to enhance TBC control efforts to be more effective and evenly distributed across regions. Abstract

This study examines the human resource management (HRM) practices implemented by Starbucks Indonesia (PT Sari Coffee Indonesia) in managing more than 5,400 partners across over 580 outlets in 59 cities. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach through document analysis and literature review, this study identifies seven core HRM pillars: (1) a partner-centric philosophy; (2) structured recruitment and selection; (3) a systematic 30-day Barista Basics training program using the Teaching Model; (4) a transparent career development path via the Learning-Owning-Advising (L-O-A) framework; (5) competitive total-rewards compensation; (6) a strong organizational culture anchored in five core values (Craft, Results, Courage, Belonging, Joy); and (7) continuous performance management through operational excellence tools. Findings suggest that Starbucks Indonesia's HRM success lies in its ability to integrate global best practices with local cultural sensitivity, treating people development as a strategic investment rather than a cost. Keywords: Human Resource Management, Starbucks Indonesia, Partner Development, Organizational Culture, Operational Excellence

Abstract

This study examines the application of Big Data models to optimize patient communication in the informed consent process within healthcare settings. Effective informed consent is a cornerstone of patient centered care, yet its implementation is frequently hampered by communication gaps, information overload, and insufficient personalization. This research proposes a Big Data-based framework that integrates structured and unstructured health data including electronic medical records (EMR), patient interaction logs, and demographic information to generate personalized communication strategies for informed consent. Using a mixed-methods approach combining Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and prototype system design, the study identifies key data variables influencing patient comprehension and consent quality. The proposed model leverages machine learning algorithms (Random Forest, NLP) to predict patient health literacy levels and tailor information delivery accordingly. Results from synthetic dataset simulations indicate that the Big Data framework can significantly improve patient understanding (84.6%), reduce consent-related errors by 41.7%, and enhance overall healthcare communication efficiency. The prototype system built on a Lambda Architecture with real-time personalization modules demonstrates high predictive accuracy (87.3%) and F1-score (86.8%). This study contributes to the intersection of health informatics and patient rights, offering a scalable, data-driven solution applicable across various hospital settings. Keywords: Big Data, informed consent, patient communication, electronic medical records, machine learning
