ENLIGHTEN: Islamic Counseling Guidance Journal, is a forum for scientists, experts, experts, practitioners in the world of Islamic Counseling. Enlighten stands on the notion of concern for the IAIN Langsa Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program due to the lack of literature on current Islamic Counseling research. With that enthusiasm, in the year 2018 Enlighten was published first. Enlighten is published twice a year in July and December. The focus of the study relates to the results of research and methods of developing Islamic Counseling. Enlighten already has e-ISSN 2622-8920 and p-ISSN: 2622-8912. Already has various indices and DOI. The entire submit process is published through full OJS, which is reviewed by experts and scientists in Islamic Counseling both at home and abroad.

This paper explains about presenting the values ??of da'wah through individual counseling whose purpose is to provide religious / Islamic nuanced solutions to a variety of problems that exist in human life. The method used by the author in this research is descriptive analysis method, in which the author presents data from several relevant opinions and tested through various sources and then analyzes them, so as to produce a more effective and relatively new alternative in da'wah, namely through individual counseling. Then preaching must be packaged in the right method, which must be actual, factual, and contextual. One approach to convey the message of preaching is through individual counseling activities. Da'wah through individual counseling has several characteristics, namely the formation of communication between counselor and client, oriented toward problem solving efforts, delivery of messages that have been programmed, and the targets and objectives set. In addition, propaganda through individual counseling has several characteristics, namely trying to raise awareness to internalize the values ??/ teachings of Islam in certain circles that are very specific and individual.

Psychological conditions are things that can not be seen directly by the five senses. For example sleeplessness, there are feelings of guilt, thinking no life-threatening, it can not respond to others when asked, and many other psychological problems. In guidance and counseling, AUM umum helps to unravel the psychological conditions through nine field problems. The population and sample of the study included 91 students of class VII and VIII SMP IT Tariq ibn Ziyad Boarding School using AUM umum F-3 for data collection. Results of research for class VII revealed the problem area in PDP, HSO,and JDK, and for class VIII is the problem area in PDP,and HSO got the highest yield of nine-field problems. Based on the interpretation of general AUM results, a description of the student's psychological condition can be an input for the school counselor to create the program and perform the service, most specifically to the field of issue that gets special attention.

Anxiety is a condition that arises when there is a threat of helplessness, feelings of isolation. Anxiety is also a matter of excessive concern and internalized as well as a variety of summative symptoms that cause significant disturbances in social or work functions that cause a decrease in interest in learning mathematics in students. Interest has a very important role in the learning process because interest is one of the determining factors in the success or action of the instructor's objectives to be achieved. Students who are not interested in the subject matter will show less sympathetic, lazy and not passionate attitudes. The data collection method uses a questionnaire for learning interest variables. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of student anxiety to interest in learning mathematics. The research subjects were 30 students. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that: (1) there was a relationship of students 'anxiety to the interest in learning mathematics, or in other words the interest in learning mathematics at all was related by students' anxiety in their interest in learning mathematics in the face of examinations, especially in mathematics; (2) there is no relationship of interest in learning mathematics, or in other words there is no relationship of interest in learning mathematics that students have in learning mathematics. The relationship of anxiety that occurs between mathematics learning interest and anxiety is negative 0,417; (3) as a stimulus, anxiety about learning interest has a proven influence on the relationship of students' anxiety to mathematics learning interest

This study aims to describe the effect of group guidance services on the development of prosocial behavior of eighth grade students of Junior High School Negeri 17 Medan. The method used is a pseudo-experimental one group pretest-posttest village design. The subjects of this study were 12 students who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection in this study uses a scale of prosocial behavior. The results of this study indicate the behavior of 12 students increased after being given group guidance services ASYMP. GIG is 0.002, (<0.05) This means that there is a significant influence of group guidance services on the development of prosocial behavior of students of class VIII of Junior High School Negeri 17 Medan.

Verbal aggressive behavior is a negative behavior that is often found in everyday life. Researchers found verbal forms of student behavior when communicating with friends such as taunting friends by mentioning the name of a parent, hurting a friend by calling him an illegitimate child, and speaking harshly to the teacher. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the school environment on students' verbal aggressive behavior in communication. The population of this research is VIII grade students. The research sample of 160 people were selected using the Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data analysis using correlational product moment with the results of r_count of 0.328 and r_tabel value of 0.148 or in other words r_count> r_tabel = 0.328> 0.148. This shows the influence of the school environment on students' verbal aggressive behavior in communication.

Reading interst is a strong desire that accompanied a sense of pleasure of enjoyment of reading with self-will. Reading is a demand for individuals because reading is an effective activity to gain insight and knowledge. Surah Al-Alaq which is the first letter to come down is a reading order. Furthermore, the mandate of regulations and legislation also invites reading culture and encourages people to enjoy reading. The problematics of some of the research results indicate that Indonesian interest in reading is still relatively low. Therefore how important are efforts to foster interest in reading. Improving interest in reading must be done through families, education units and the community. One of the factors influencing reading interest is the teacher. Counseling teacher/ Counselor is a teacher assigned to carry out guidance and counseling activities in schools responsible for providing various service activities in developing various student potentials and encouraging national education goals. Guidance counseling at schools is expected to be more intensive in order to improve students interest in reading through various types of counseling services. As for some services that can be applied in improving interest in reading such as orientation services, information, group guidance and individual counseling.

The background of this research is the low self-disclosure of students in the College of Islamic Guidance and Counseling X. The purpose of this research are to explain of self-disclosure in Islamic Guidance and Counseling students with a review of the target and discussion topics. The Method was descriptive quantitative research. The research population was the students of guidance and counseling. The sample counsists of 122 students with Random Sampling technique. The research instrument used a Self Disclosure Scale with 54 statement items (r = 0.91029). The Data analyzed by using descriptive. The result of determined that most student only give their information only in general, and some students have not been able to share their information with others. The results of this study also indicate that the significant person in self disclosure is the mother and the most open discussion topic on the topic of interests and tastes. Researchers suggest further action research in the form of training to improve self-disclosure given the importance of self-disclosure skills in student guidance and counseling.
