Abstract

The role of philosophy in the development of Islamic education has a very important, especially in determining the direction of educa­tion in accordance with the expectations of all parties. Muhammad Abduh and Muhammad Iqbal was a leading figure of Muslim philo­sophers who provide brilliant ideas for the direction of educatio­nal reform Islam. Through the concept of renewal that has been overshadowed in the analysis of the social context of religious and educational experience of the two leading figures, make education easily accepted thinking and developed in some parts of the world so that it becomes the treasury for the development of Islam in the world. According to him, education is a primary need of man, so it is necessary to look for alternative solutions in order to get out of the intellectual stagnation of Muslims at the time. Both strive to transform education thought the Muslims of his time in order to learn from the empirical reality and are not confined to the rigidity and stagnation due to rampant blind imitation, heresy, zuhd, and superstition which binds the Muslims of his time. Both saw that the main cause of backwardness of Muslims is quite alarming is the loss of intellectual traditions, namely freedom of thought.

Abstract

Substantially, Islam and western culture have the same view about education. Both are oriented in personality and intellectual formation of children, namely the formation of intelligent personal morality. In Islam, the Qur’an, Hadith and Ijma ‘ulama as based in building the concept of education. While in the West understanding, that nationalism becomes fundamental footing. Each civilization has a different character, so that the products also have different characteristics. According to Hegel, as a representation of western figures, Education also defines as something real, transcendence, which is progressive from a subjective or negative, and depending on moral potential. To achieve a positive and essential moral (moral height), one must uphold universal moral and life in environment circles. Eventually, people will attain and gain virtue and moral absolute through education. It is not much different from the view of Ibn Sina as one of the People of Islamic Education assumed that between idealistic values with a view pragmatic. He combines learning materials or theories that children learn in school with jobs of interest. For Ibn Sina ‘, something which is very important thing to be done in the education system is to examine the level of intelligence, characteristics and talents of the children, and keep it in order to determine the favored choice for the future.

Abstract

Ali Abdul Raziq rejected a logical axiom that building khilafah is a requirement for getting religious and common goods. For him, it is not merely khilafah, but every social system in the certain community needs a common good. Every country, whatever religion they mostly embraced, needs a certain system of organizing the common goods. The system could be based on every ideological underpinning, including khilafah. Furthermore, a claim that khilafah is the only religious system is unacceptable. Ali Abdul Raziq argues that religion has nothing to do with this system. There is no Islamic law which ruled khilafah, neither rejected it. All types of constitution and the ways they kept maintaining them are based on logical capability and living experience.

Abstract

Group relation within any heterogeneous society in which people with their different characteristics and identities live together tends to run unequally due to the majorities’ domination toward minorities. Their spirit of domination is philosophically based on Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution “The Survival of the Fittest” which later incarnates itself in social domain and is used to justify that their domination upon minority groups is a kind of natural selection process. When this idea is perceived continuously from generation to generation, minorities will be the everlasting disadvantaged victims of the other group’s domination and suffer persistent annihilation and oppression, extending from the most moderate form like prejudice to the most extreme one such as discrimination. Besides being intended to discuss the complicated relation between majority and minority groups and explore the significance of the spirit of domination in determining the dynamics of group relation, this study is also aimed at offering some alternative ways to create egalitarian atmosphere in a heterogeneous society. Indeed, such new future is not impossible to be reached as far as reconciliation process is consistently carried out by both groups. Reconciliation, which might involve assimilation, accommodation, amalgamation, and pluralism, is the main key to realize equal and mutual relation between majority and minority groups.

Abstract

The patterns of young people behavior that is so far from expectations such as an increase in juvenile delinquency leads many people allege that religious education which is taught in schools or Islamic schools are not able to be a shield for the future nation generation. Therefore reconstruction of Islamic education in the current context and redefinition perspective of Islamic education (PAI) is indispensable. So finally it gives the sense of PAI as a whole and not partial and cause differences and inequality. Some concept maps in applying of PAI in the current context are as follows: 1). integrated cooperation between family and school in the implementation educational tasks. 2. The character education in religious education.

Abstract

Social phenomena which proves many couples have got interfaith marriage in Indonesia and other countries. In this case, interfaith marriage is a marriage of a man of Muslim with non-Muslim women or otherwise, marriage the women of Muslim with male non-Muslim. Therefore, it is necessary for a comprehensive explanation about the law of interfaith marriage. Interfaith marriage in al-Quran and Sunnah can be classified into three, first, the marriage of men of Muslim with the polytheists (musyrikah) women, within the merriage of male of Muslim with polytheists women are disagreement about the law, Ibn Jarir al-Tabari permit the marriage of this category on condition that the polytheistic woman came from the non-Arabs nation’s which have a holy book or the bible, should be married by men of Muslim. Second, the marriage of men of Muslim with women Ahl al-Kitab (kitabiyyah). In this case the majority of ulama get argue that married to of kitabiyah women (Jewish and Christian faiths, either dhimmi or harbi) is permissible. And, third, the marriage of women of Muslim with a male of non-Muslim, whether the merriage to polytheistic or Ahl al-Kitab (kitabi) which in this case is based on the consensus among ulama of islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) that marriage with this category is haraam, whether the male non-Muslim kitabi classified or not.

Abstract

Asbâb al-wurûd, a branch of ulûm al-hadîth focusing on the causes of hadîth, is coincident with asbâb al-nuzûl in ulûm al-qurân. Realizing asbâb al-wurûd is a requirement of understanding hadîth in contextual manner. As we know that hadîth is not merely a source of Muhammad’s utterances, but also his actions, decisions, and attributes. Furthermore, in order to avoid the false hadîth and the misunderstanding of the meaning of hadîth, an understanding of asbâb al-wurûd is necessary. Most of ulama who authored some peculiar books (al-kutub) on asbâb al-wurûd are among others Imam Jalaluddin Al-Suyuthi with his outstanding work Asbâb al-Wurûd al-Hadîth aw Allamu fî Asbâb al-Hadîth.

In film PK found, first symbol of religion that be in earth so many and confuse. The second, in structuralist, every religion have rule culture that not the same and potentially give rise to conflict. In this film pictured taht this religious leader that connect between believer with his Lord. The third, in connotative the film PK want criticize reality of religion that confound and better believe in God without that Religious ties. The Film PK constitute reflection and sharp criticism to religion in the earth. The religion become road that confuse towards the God, becouse many differences. Even, the religion through His religion leaders apply road that difficult even no provide solutions for the life. Should, the religion no become source conflict and source income for religious leader. Should, the religion truly become solutions and easy street and straight towards the God.

Abstract

The classic problem of contemporary education today is the integration of two knowledge entities which many have positioned both as diametrical of one another, i.e. the religious knowledge (Semitic) and general knowledge (Hellenistic). This polarization later created a variant that has different form and characteristics, in terms of materials, educational systems, and organizational forms. In order to build an educational system that enables to generate the idealistic results, the management system should not be separated to philosophical rules which lie within, mostly the epistemological frame. Hence, it is important to construct the epistemology of monochotomic Islamic education and management which characterized by Islamic values. The values become the foundation of all operational functions of the management, including managing educational system efficiently and effectively. Both are the forms of philosophical Islamic education in the aspects of axiology and epistemology that could generate human who acquire scientific and technological skills as well as obedience to Islam.

In the Indonetion this several years of last in every election of directly many store problem that is money politic. Even, politic often interpreted about interest for power, while money as one of the power based of material. Therefore, money politic is manifestation from someone orientation or commonal in reach aim politic with make money as intermediaries. Practice money politic constitute action that opposite with Constitution momber 10 2008 years about election. For example; implementer, participant and officer of campaign banned promise or provide money or material other to campaigners. That’s why in this articel discussed how exactly money politic in islamic law, especially in view of Nahdlatul Ulama.
