Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment on employee job satisfaction at Daima Hotel Padang. This type of research is causal associative research using simple linear regression analysis. The population in this study were employees who were 59 people and the number of samples in this study amounted to 51 employees except the head of department with sampling techniques were saturated samples. Data collection techniques were carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. Technical analysis uses the help of the SPSS Computer Program version 16.00. The results showed: (1) Work Environment is in good category (64.70%), (2) Job Satisfaction is in a very good category (68.63%), (3) Simple linear regression hypothesis test results obtained F count 16,172 with sig. 0,000 <0,05, then the work environment variable can explain the variable of employee job satisfaction significantly. Furthermore, t count is 4.021 with a significant level of 0.000 <0.05, then there is a significant relationship between the two variables. Then the value of R Square is 0.248. This means that the work environment affects employee employment by 24.8%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the influence of work environment and organizational communication toward the satisfaction of teachers’ work  in SMPN 1 Banuhampu Kabupaten Agam. The population of the research is the teachers in SMPN 1 Banuhampu Kabupaten Agam. Samples taken are 56 respondents by using random sampling technique,  which determine  samples by taking a sample randomly and use the questionnaire as a tool to collect data. Based on hypothesis  in this research, it is assumed that the influence of work environment and organizational communication significantly and positively influence the teachers’ work satisfaction  in SMPN 1 Banuhampu Kabupaten Agam. The data analysis methods author used in this research are validity tes, reliability test, variable descriptive analysis test, classical assumtion tes,multiple linear regression analysis, T test and F test. From analysis that have been done, author found that work environment variable (X1) is significantly and positively influence the satisfaction of teachers’ work, this is proven by the significant probability value of work environment is resulted in 0,000 which is smaller than 0,05. Then author also found that effect of organizational communication variable (X2) toward the work satisfaction is significantly and positively influence the teachers’ work, this is proven by significant probability value of communication organization is resulted in 0,000 which is smaller than 0,05. From F test, it can be concluded that regression model can be use to predict the work environment and organizational communication which have  significantly and  positively  influence toward teachers’ work satisfaction by the significant probability value is resulted in 0,000 which is smaller than 0,05.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the marketing strategies of Hangtuah Padang Hotel. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with survey methods and analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusions which previously found supporting and consistent evidence in the field can answer the formulation of the problem formulated. The informant or sample of this study was HRD Hotel Hangtuah Padang and Sales Marketing at Hangtuah Padang Hotel. Data collection techniques are carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the study are: 1) general findings which are obtained from the hotel history, hotel marketing and hotel uniqueness, 2) special findings obtained by data reduction regarding promotions, products, prices and places 3), available price packages, increasing marketing, publicizing into mass media and online, but there is one disadvantage, that is, the marketing development strategy has not been realized

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap semangat kerja karyawan Hotel Grand Rocky Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif assosiatif dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 123 karyawan dan sampel berjumlah 30 karyawan dengan teknik probability sampling dengan jenis simple random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS untuk Windows versi 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Lingkungan kerja di Hotel Grand Rocky Bukittinggi berada pada skor rata-rata 91,27. 2) Semangat bekerja di Hotel Grand Rocky Bukittinggi berada pada skor rata-rata 73,67. 3) Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara lingkungan kerja terhadap semangat kerja karyawan Hotel Grand Rocky Bukittinggi. Hasilnya menunjukkan koefisien r = 0,827 (Sig. 0,000). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap semangat kerja karyawan dengan R square sebesar 68,4%. Artinya semakin baik lingkungan kerja, semakin tinggi semangat kerja karyawan Hotel Grand Rocky Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan Promosi Objek Wisata Pulau Setan (Sultan) di Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan dengan indikator periklanan (advertising), penjualan langsung (direct selling), promosi penjualan (sales promotion), hubungan masyarakat dan publisitas (public relation). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan data kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan informan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Promosi Objek Wisata dapat berupa: 1) Periklanan persuasif, iklan informatif, dan iklan perbandingan. 2) Non-publik, terbaru, interaktif . 3)  Kupon, tawaran, harga paket. 4) Hubungan pers dan aktifitas pers, publisitas produk, kegiatan masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh kebijakan investasi, kebijakan pendanaan dan kebijakan dividen terhadap cumulative abnormal return pada perusahaan manufaktur bertumbuh yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2010-2016. Kebijakan investasi diukur dengan menggunakan pengeluaran modal, kebijakan pendanaan diukur dengan perubahan debt to equity ratio (∆DER) dan kebijakan dividen diukur dengan dividend payout ratio (DPR). Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh 7 perusahaan manufaktur bertumbuh yang dianalisis selama 7 tahun. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari www.idx.com dan www.yahoo.finance.com. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda untuk melihat pengaruh pengeluaran modal, perubahan DER dan DPR terhadap cumulative abnormal return pada perusahaan manufaktur bertumbuh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa pengeluaran modal tidak berpengaruh terhadap cumulative abnormal return pada perusahaan manufaktur bertumbuh, perubahan DER tidak berpengaruh terhadap cumulative abnormal return pada perusahaan manufaktur bertumbuh, dan DPR tidak berpengaruh terhadap cumulative abnormal return pada perusahaan manufaktur bertumbuh untuk periode 2011-2016.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia otomotif tersebut memicu meningkatnya jumlah sepeda motor di Indonesia khususnya kendaraan roda dua. Semakin tinggi jumlah kendaraan, maka semakin dibutuhkan jasa asuransi bagi masyarakat yang ingin merasakan kenyamanan dalam berkendara, baik untuk kendaraan mereka, atau jiwa mereka. Tujuan Penelitian yakni Untuk mendukung dalam peningkatan dan kemajuan dalam usaha dibidang perasuransian terutama perusahaan asuransi di Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat dan membantu memberikan masukan dalam pengambilan keputusan, khususnya dalam pemilihan sepeda motor menggunakan metode fuzzy soft matrices, sehingga bisa mengurangi kerugian pada pihak asuransi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metodeMatriks Lembut Kabur Min-Max (Fuzzy Soft Matrices Min-Max). Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian ini menguraikan tentang “Aplikasi Pengambilan Keputusan Pada Model Pemilihan Sepeda Motor di Perusahaan Asuransi di Kota Padang Menggunakan Metode Fuzzy Soft Matrices Min-Max”.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the discipline of employees at Nantongga beach hotels which tend to fall in the last 5 months. This type of research is associative quantitative research with a simple linear regression test. The population in this study were all employees of Nantongga Beach Hotel. The research sample amounted to 30 employees during the study period with sampling techniques as quota sampling. Data collection techniques are carried out by using a questionnaire (questionnaire) with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Furthermore, the data were analyzed through description analysis and simple linear regression test with the help of the SPSS Computer Program version 16.00. The results of the study were: 1) Compensation of Nantongga Beach Hotel Pariaman employees showed a very dissatisfied category which was 36.67%, 2) Work discipline was in the satisfied category (56.67%), 3) Simple linear regression test results with a significance level of 0.037, there was influence positive and significant between compensation and employee work discipline with a r value of 0.519 (sig 0,000) with a significant interpretation of influence.

Abstract

This research is done to know the benefits of Napa land as the main material in the manufacture of Geopolymer cement. Napa soil derived from the of Solok is natural material with the content of Sio2 and Al2O3 that can be used by the community Around as a remedy for abdominal pain and diarrhea. In this study studied the characteristics of the cement-based geopolymer of Napa soil with variations of temperature calcination, namely the temperature of 500oC, 600oC, 700oC, 800oC against the cement parameters of the remaining sieve and the insoluble part. The results of this study indicated that the characteristics of the remainder above the sieve stated that the smaller the size of cement grains then the wider surface of cement. While the analysis results of the insoluble part of the Geopolymer soil based Napa.Geopolymer Cement has an insoluble part value larger than conventional cement (1.5%-6% max) (SNI 7064:2014) is with an average percentage of 20.5%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine of promotional relationship with the decision purchase guest rooms in Daima Hotel Padang. This type of research is classified as correlational. The population in this study were guests who stayed monthly at 5.079 people and number of sample in this study amounted to 98 guests who were staying with the sampling technique was incidental sample. The technique of data collection is done using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Technical analysis using the help of the SPSS Computer Program version 16.00. The results showed: 1) the promotion in Daima Hotel Padang are at an average score of 68.21, 2) the decision purchase guest rooms in Daima Hotel Padang was at an average score of 69.6, 3) The results of Person Product Moment Correlation  indicate that there is a positive (sufficient) and insignificant relationship between the promotion and the purchasing decision assessed by guests staying at daima Hotel Padang, with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.166 (sig 0.102) with sufficient category because it is in the range > 0 – 0.25. This means that the better the promotion is done, the higher the decision purchase a guest room at Daima Hotel Padang.
