Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan matematika siswa kelas VII C SMP Negeri I Koto Baru pada dapat meningkat dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif Think-Pair-Share-Berempat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ( PTK ) atau Classroom Action Research ( CAR ),yaitu upaya perbaikan pelaksanaan praktek  pendidikan oleh sekelompok  pengajar dengan melakukan tindakan-tindakan  dalam pembelajaran berdasarkan refleksi mengenai hasil dari tindakan tersebut. Penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, yaitu melakukan tindakan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode. Subyek  penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII C SMP Negeri I Koto Baru, semester I tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Banyaknya siswa 24 orang siswa terdiri dari 11 orang siswa laki-laki dan 13 orang siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah (1) Observasi, (2) Evaluasi belajar, (3) Dokumentasi, dan (4) Catatan lapangan/jurnal guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa penerapan pembelajaran dengan pembelajaran kooperatif Think-Pair-share-Berempat dalam pembelajaran Matematika di kelas VII C SMP Negeri I Koto Baru adalah : 1). Pengelolaan pembelajaran matematika mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I yaitu 3,03 menjadi 3,65 pada siklus II; 2).Aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika juga mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I 48,44% menjadi 64,26% pada siklus II; 3). Kemampuan matematika siswa dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika meningkat dari siklus I  yaitu 66,06 menjadi 73,33 pada siklus II.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap kritik sosial yang terdapat dalam novel Tak Sempurna karya Fahd Djibran dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra khususnya sosiologi karya sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode hermeneutik atau penafsiran. Objek penelitian ini adalah Novel Tak sempurna karya Fahd Djibran. Terbit pada 2013, oleh penerbit Kurniaesa Publishing, Terbit di Yogyakarta. Fokus Penelitian ini adalah kritik sosial dalam novel Tak Sempurna karya Fahd Djibran tinjauan Sosiologi sastra, yang melihat dari segi sikap sosial dan perilaku sosial yang ada pada novel. Maka dapat dipahami bahwa data penelitian ini dikumpulkan secara deskriptif. Teknik analisis datadalam penerapan metode interpretasi tersebut, peneliti menekankan pada hermeneutika yang dikembangkan oleh Paul Ricoeur. Hasil penelitian dipaparkan sebagai berikut: (1) sikap sosial dalam novel Tak sempurna Karya Fahd Djibran. Diantara sikap sosial yang digambarkan Fahd Djibran yaitu (a) Sikap Guru Terhadap Pelajar, (b) Sikap Senioritas yang Terjadi di Sekolah, dan (c) Sikap Orang Tua Terhadap Anaknya. (2) Perilaku Sosial dalam novel Tak Sempurna. Di antaranya adalah (a) Tawuran Antar Pelajar , (b) Perilaku Asusila di Kalangan Pelajar Sekolah, dan (c) Narkoba di Kalangan Para Pelajar.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the procedure of serving tastes in restaurant tastes Nongsa Point Marina & Resort Batam this type of research is descriptive reserch with qualitative methosd. Data collection techniques used were interview, observation, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis. From the results of the study found several things related to the waiitress working procedures in the tastes of the restaurant Nongsa Point Marina & Resort Batam, namely: by following good standard procedures and a sense of belonging and a standard sense of beloging and a standard sense of work procedures with provisions that have been made will make the waiter be professional in his field.

Abstract

The study and was initiated by the decline in occupancy rate the guest room in the period of 2016-2017. This study aims to : (1), knowing the physical in the Axana the Padang, (2), knowing the purchasing decision of the room at The Axana the Padang, and (3) Analyze the influence of the physical against the decision of the purchase of the guests at The Axana the Padang. This type of research is sort of descriptive set of quantitative. The maker of samples is purposive sampling as many as 88 people. The gathering data using the questionnaire based on " Likert that has proven its validity and reliability of a. The result of this research is : (1) The facility physical in the Axana the Padang from all indicators that have been determined, including the category of agree with a percentage of 67 % (2) The purchase in the Axana the Padang from all indicators that have been determined, including in the category of agree with a percentage of 52 %, and (3) The analysis showed, there is a significant influence between the physical against the decision of the purchase of the guests at The Axana the Padang, Fhitung 20.018 with a sig. 0,000<0, 5 (ha and h0 be rejected).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan bagaimana meembangkan objek wisata wisata di water park solok yang memiliki potensi yang besar. Jenis penelitian yang penulis lakukan adalah penelitiann deskriptif dengan data kualitatif, dimana peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) objek wisata water park solok perlu dilakukan pengembangan agar tidak kalah dari tempat wisata lainnya (2) perlunya peningkatan kerja sama dengan pemerintah maupun infestor agar mempermudah dalam proses pengembangan (3) pengelola diharapkan bisa memenfaatkan potensi yang ada pada suatu objek wisata agar dapat mengembangkan lebih banyak jenis sarana yang dapat meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of institutional ownership and public ownership to encourage disclosure of corporate social responsibility in high profile companies in Indonesia, in addition this study also aims to prove the influence of company growth and industry type on the amount of disclosure of corporate social responsibility, especially in high profile companies Indonesia. The analytical method used is using panel data regression analysis. The test results show that institutional ownership does not affect CSR disclosure in High profile companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while public ownership, company growth and industry type have a positive effect on CSR disclosure in High profile companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the management of charms in the tourist attraction of Bukittinggi Clock Tower. This type of research is descriptive with qualitative data. The informants of this study were the Bukittinggi Tourism Office and managers. The objectives of this study are: (1) Describe hygiene management, (2) Describe Beauty, (3) Describe Hospitality. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Analysis techniques include: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study are based on informants' responses, namely: planning related to the objectives to be achieved, namely creating a clean, beautiful and friendly tourist attraction. Organizing consists of manager responsibilities in the form of basic tasks in carrying out operational technical work activities. Direction is carried out by reminding and directing the officer by the tourist manager about the tasks that will be done. Supervision is carried out so that the objectives of tourism objects can be carried out properly and can implement plans that have not been implemented as soon as possible for the sake of cleanliness, beauty and hospitality of tourist attractions so that visitors who come feel comfortable and safe.

Abstract

This research begins with the observation of the author at the Grand Rocky Bukittinggi Hotel and the author's observations when looking at employee loyalty at the Grand Rocky Bukittinggi which tends to fall in the past 5 months, that employees often violate regulations and often permit work. Based on the above problems this study aims to: 1) Describe employee compensation at the Grand Rocky Bukittinggi Hotel, 2) Describe the Work Loyalty of employees at the Grand Rocky Bukittinggi Hotel, and 3) Analyze the Influence between compensation and work loyalty at the Grand Rocky Bukittinggi Hotel. This type of research is classified into causal associative quantitative research with a simple linear regression test. The population in this study were all employees who worked at the Grand Rocky Bukittinggi Hotel. The research samples were 30 employees at the Grand Rocky Bukittinggi Hotel during the research period with the sampling technique being sample random sampling. Data collection techniques are carried out using a questionnaire (questionnaire) with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Furthermore, the data were analyzed through description analysis and simple linear regression test with the help of the SPSS Computer Program version 16.00. Based on the research that has been done, the results are as follows: 1) Compensation of Grand Rocky Bukittinggi employees shows good categories that are equal to (56.67%), 2) Work Loyalty shows no good / loyal in the category (56.67%), 3 ) The results of a simple linear regression test obtained the effect of variable employee loyalty compensation 24.5% while 75.5% was determined by other factors, F 9.109 with sig. 0,000 <0,005, then the compensation variable can explain employee work loyalty variables significantly, with an R value of 0.495. This means that compensation affects work loyalty by 49.5% and 51.5% is influenced by other factors. The significance level of 0.005 has a significant relationship between the two variables. Then obtained a regression coefficient of 0.731 with a value of sig 0,005 <0,037. This means that each increase of 1 unit of compensation will increase by 0.731 work loyalty units.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the understanding of the mathematical concepts of class VII students of SMPN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti which were still low and the learning process was still conventional, so students were less active in learning. One of the actions that can be taken is to apply the cooperative learning model Index Card Match (ICM) type. This study aims to determine whether understanding mathematical concepts of students using cooperative learning models Index Card Match (ICM) type is better than understanding students' mathematical concepts using conventional learning. This type of research is a quasi-experimental, the population in this study were all VII grade students of SMPN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti consisting of 5 classes. Sampling by Random Sampling, the sample in this study was class VII1 as the experimental class and class VII3 as the control class. The instrument in this study is a test of the ability to understand mathematical concepts. Analysis of the data used is the t test. Hypothesis test results obtained t_count = 1.912 and t_table = 1.672 with α = 0.05 and dk = 57, so t_count> t_tabel. This means rejecting Ho, which means that understanding mathematical concepts of students using cooperative Index Card Match (ICM) type is better than understanding students' mathematical concepts using conventional learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction on employee turnover intentions at Favehotel Olo Padang. This type of research is classified as associative quantitative research with a simple linear regression test. The population in this study were all employees at Favehotel Olo Padang. The research sample amounted to 38 employees with the sampling technique is saturated sampling. The technique of data collection is done using a questionnaire (questionnaire) with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed by simple linear regression testing through the help of the SPSS Computer Program version 16.00. The results showed: 1) Employee job satisfaction at Favehotel Olo Padang agreed, namely 50%, 2) Turning intention into the category of agree and disagree (39.47%), 3) there is a significant influence between job satisfaction and turnover intention with value constant of 106,783 and regression coefficient of 0.443 with a significance value of 0.005.
