Artificial intelligence has influenced various aspects of human life in recent years. The film industry is no exception to be affected by the expansion of artificial intelligence. Focusing on the process of short movie scenario development, this research aims to explore the extent to which artificial intelligence or AI can play a role in the creative process of filmmaking. This research uses an innovative exploration method using action research methods with a special focus on the art-based action research approach. Using three experimental cycles, this research found that artificial intelligence has a series of limitations in its function to assist the film script creation process, therefore, it is unlikely that artificial intelligence can replace humans completely soon. However, this research found that despite all its limitations, artificial intelligence has a significant role in helping film creators simplify the initial steps of the film script development process, if it is utilized in the right way. This research makes a substantial contribution to the discussion regarding the use of artificial intelligence in the filmmaking creative process. Keywords: film, screenplay, artificial intelligence, AI

This research describes strategies in experimental film studio space, with a subjective creation process approach through the management of personal experiences of digital trauma conflicts of students of the internet user generation. The formulation of this research questions the ability of practical studio space to become a bridge of expression. This research aims to obtain the perspective of the psychological state built from the condition of trauma towards the selection of the visual language. Participatory Action Research (PAR) is conducted by reviewing and analyzing comprehensively so that all data in this study can be accounted for. The results showed that most of the students were able to recognize and manage their conflicts without being burdened by the standards of Blockbuster cinema or High Art to be empowered with creative ideas and works. In the context of self, they are able to increase their confidence as artists or academic filmmakers. This research implies that it can serve as a basis for shaping new knowledge, skills and attitudes towards the emergence of other methods of expression of film or video art creation in the future. Keywords: education; digital conflict; experimental film; video art; engaged art.

Exploration of plot development patterns in narrative structure can be seen from the Time Loop Plot which is used in several films in a very unique way. This plot pattern emphasizes a character trapped in space and time that repeats itself continuously. This qualitative research uses an observational approach that focuses on observing Time Loop Plot patterns and connecting them with three different genre variants, namely Edge of Tomorrow (action-science fiction), Happy Death Day (thriller-horror), and Palm Spring (roman-comedy). This research aims to obtain an overview of the narrative structure pattern "Time Loop Plot" which can be applied in various genres through a visual element approach, as well as looking for a storytelling motif in the application of this plot development pattern in each different genre, using the approach of narrative theory and aesthetics. The results of this research reveal a pattern which shows that the time loop plot pattern is character-driven by the main character. The relationship with genre shows a pattern that differences in genre in the application of time loop plots will result in differences in the development of tone and mood in the film. Keywords: narrative, plot, time loop, genre
