Abstract

Research on the impact of motivation and training to aviation security perJurmance in Ngurah RaiAirport Denpasar has "been perfonned. Abstract

Dereloping will also effect to traffic'JXlformaru:e at Bayangkara street around that road after ~ting of Jakarta-Merak toll road link in Km15+400. I71e problem is whether the rood reasonable to derelop eamomically not only benefit but alsoadvantage. Another problem is to find out the advantage of amtribution with and without dereloping.Methodology of this studtj is traffic suroci; method with four step planning analysis model (trip generation,trip attraction, modal split and traffic assignment) and eamomic analysis. Finally, The result of the studyprovide that dereloping of Bm;angkara street is reasonable with tloo alterna~s which are enrouragingBayangkara street step btJ step become ROW 15;20;24 and without amstructing new rood. Abstract

During the development stage, provision of transportation infrastructure is ven; important. It contnbutesto the regional economy and makes economic development more inclusive by giving directand indirect effects. The aim of research wants to know the role of road infrastructure to regionaleconomy in long term periods.Having panel data in the regional level (province) which is 26 provinces and a 14-year time series(1993-2006), variables that are used in this stud!; are GDP as the output measurement, labor forceand capital stock which is divided into road capital stock and non road capital stock. Road capitalstock itself is comprised of national, province and city road capital stock.Based on the model in analysis, we can say road infrastructure has significant contributions to theregional econonn; where city roads give the highest contnbution to the regional econonn;. In addition,based on the time lag model, we can see that the investment in road development will have a significanteffect on GDP in the curre11t year, as well as in the following .few years, but the effect diminishesover time. However, the significant contnbution of road development to GDP only remains for 1 yearfor all types of road.Some polictj implications that can be proposed from the above analysis are: it is still necessary toincrease the development of road infrastructure in order to provide good accessibility for all regions inIndonesia; so government should give priorihJ to develop city and province roads rather than nationalroads to increase the regional output (regional GDP). On the other hand government shouldmake it a priority to develop strategies for the development of road infrastructure based on the specificneeds of each region so it will be more effective and efficient in encouraging regional economic growthand, ultimately, in enhancing high economic growth in Indonesia as a whole.Key words: road infrastructure, regional econonn1

Abstract

Integration antannoda at international airports and seaports in Indonesia's need to be supported withfacilities/ tenninals far integration antannoda integrated in order to improve the quality of transportationservice on service users. The important role of integrated facilities far transfer nwde still needsto be organized with a facilib.J poliaj / antannoda integrated tenninal. Port and airport facilities inaccordance with the wishes of the user port and airport services that meet the criteria as ports andairports with integrated services in order to support the development of antannoda transport, therebyincreasing the transportation service effectively and efficiently.Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, further analysis of transportation service performanceusing analyti.cal tools antannoda Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and the CustomerSatisfaction Index (CSI). Based on the analysis, it is knawn that ports and airports are being evaluatedmeet the criteria for supporting the transport antannoda but there antannoda transportationservice facilities slwuld be improved anwng other facilities in ports/ airports, convenience of alternativeroutes to the bus station, port or airport , availabi1ity of tickets reservation service counter facilities,the dismissal of public transport passenger bus stop near the port/ airport, ease to get traveltickets with a choice of various kinds of advanced modes.Keywords: Inter-Mode, Transport Sennce, Performance.

Abstract

Application of technologtj in economic development of a nation spread across various eronomic sectors,including transportation and communication sector. In Indonesia, the progress achieved bytransportation and communication sector-especially in terms of value added grawth- over the lastthree decades can not be separated from the role of technological progress in this sector. By using t.otalfactor productivihj (TFP) approach as a indicator for the role of technological progress, this papertries to calculate and analyze how much the role of technological progress in the grawth of transportationand communication sector. Calculation method used is growth accounting method whichapplied to the Cobb-Douglas production function. The calculations shaw that during the period1977-2007 transportation and communication sector achieved grawth rate m;erage 7.77% per year,where 2.29% of which came from the contribution of technological progress (TFPG). The role of thistechnology is greater than the role of labor grawth (1.85%), but slightly belaw the role of capitalgrowth (3.63%). These results imply that the development of technology in transportation andcommunication sector must be increased again in the coming years in order t.o encourage the growthof transportation and communication sect.or higher.Keywords : Tecknologi, Transportataion and Komunication, Total Factor ProductivihJ

Pedestrian in school area has different characteristic rompare to commerce area, industry and officearea. Pedestrian especially students has immeasurable in movemeiit of schoolchild having the characterof and off the cuff is ices unforeseen generates accident, if mixed with vehicle traffic, so that safetyof pedestrian in school area, movement pattern of crossing and level of service of crossing facility ofpedestrian is made by important consideration in planning transportation facilihj especially in schoolarea.Intention of this research analysis is about crosswalk characteristic of pedestrian at school area, so thatas planning and scheme of pedestrian facilities and basic facilities can consider the pedestrian characteristicat school area, on the other hand, this research analyses about movement pattern and crossinglay time of pedestrian which can give information of crosswalk facilihJ h;pe of matching with ZonaSelamat Sekolah ( Z.OSS. .The pedestrian characteristics will be analyzed with microscopic methode. Sighting microscopic isapplied by see behavior of journey happened in each individual. By doing research microscopic henceknowable of characteristic, behavior and movement pattern of pedestrian individually. Researchmicroscopimlly could analyzed journey of pedestrianindividually in position and time, where variable applied is N(pedestrian number), T(time), X and Y(location co-ordinate). Abstract

The development of metropolitan cihJ as Jakarta for years is high, thus the demand Jo transportationservices. Tcui is one of mode transportation which is mostly used by middle to high class people. Theproblem is, sometimes many people are wasting time for waiting empty taxi, mean while manyempty taxi, are searching for the passenger.The objective of this simulation model is to direct the taxi, movement to get passenger with the help ofi~b "based software. So then, there is information to direct the taxi, mavement to choose the right Wat}to get passenger with high possibilihJ rate of passenger.The taxi, driver is equipped by GPS that will find out the coordinate position data of geographical. Toinput the data such as position of start-finish and arrival time of passenger it can be done by cellμlarphone then data will be transmit to ~bsite.Using simulation approaching, a Monte Carlo simulation model can be build that will optimize taxi,driver to find passenger. This modeling will be able to estimate the possibilihj of passenger arrival anddistribution of taxi, cars in one area. The comparison of simulation without modeling resuled intincreament of some aspects, such as increment of delivetJ services increase to 81.48%, searching timeand waiting time become 4.12% and 6.45% respectively.Keyword: taxi, movement, waiting time, travel time, Monte-Carlo Simulation
