Abstract

The reform movement that has swept Indonesia since 1998 has not yet had a significant impact on the improvement of the government’s performance especially with regard to the economic field. The ongoing economic crisis and the rising inflation accompanied by a high rate of unemployment and crime are the multiplier effects of the government’s failure in implementing economic policies. The effects also indicate that capitalism has failed to provide prosperity for all. Capitalism has, in fact, created a gap between the developed and the developing countries. This writing tries to analyze and formulate the concept of integrating Islamic economic values in order to find a solution for the reestablishment of an economic concept which is capable of overcoming the ongoing economic crisis in this country, hopefully.

Abstract

Standard clauses are an accumulation of business and non-business factors, and follow a uniform pattern. The principles of consumer protection contract, either introduced by Law No. 8 /1999 or by experts, have yet to contain standard contracts and clauses. As a result, even though Laundry Q combined three principles of the contract, the composition of standard clauses consist of exonerated and prohibited clauses. Besides containing the internal weakness, this law has weak supervision not to mention law enforcement. Standard clauses only covers a small part of clauses on the formulation of business actors. The executive and legislative body should act. Certified standard clauses, the revision of Article 18 of Law No. 8 /1999, and judicial review of this article by the Constitutional Court needs to be done.

Abstract

Ancient manuscript of the Tafsir Surat Tujuh (interpretation of surah seven) by Muhammad Imran Basiuni is a reflection the methodological of the study of the Qur’an in the early 20th century in the kingdom of Sambas, West Kalimantan. And it is the only masterpiece of interpretation that was, and has been written by the scholar in West Kalimantan at the time. The ancient manuscript of Tafsir Surat Tujuh is purely his own hand-written work, and does not have a duplicate, and has published in the Kingdom of Sambas since the beginning of the 20th century, which is still intact and kept in the Sambas Museum of Islamic Civilization. The manuscript thematically contains theology and righteous deeds. Meanwhile, the methodological pattern of this manuscript seemsto be more free and not bound to the classic methodology, if any,the coherence was the only method he used. In addition the ijmali method was also in use, which can be seen in the lexical-linguistic analysis of the manuscript as commonly found in books of classical interpretation with their interpretational language.

Abstract

Islam is very responsive to human desires in term of property ownership. This can be understood from a number of the verses of the Koran that mention the word property, both in the singular or plural. If understood correctly, the verses that mention property obviously show How Islam views property which in essence is the spirit of Islamic teachings to build a rich community. The Qur’an also affirms that any Muslim who legitimately has a certain property, has the right to use it in accordance with the rules outlined by Allah. In this case the Qur’an recommends that any individual or group do some things related to the property they own, namely: Donate, develop, and distribute it. Besides that they also have to perform a social function of the property they own, which include a infak, sadaqah, grants, charity, and endowments.
